As for the stains nothing was visiable, my husband's in the military and put his to test he came home and I inspected his clothing, and nothing!!!

simply screw off the cap and begin to roll on, my kids didn't fight me at all where they usually would have with my in their words "COLD hands touching their warm chests"
Great texture, easy to use, will most definitely be buying this product in the future!!
