I'm going to start by saying - do not underestimate your local Walmart's Bakery Department! And this is coming from a person who's been inside of a Walmart ONCE in the past 6 years. For years, we've ordered Publix Bakery cakes and high-end expensive bakery cakes.. and have never truly *enjoyed* them. Yesterday, we picked up a Walmart cake for my son's 7th birthday. It was a 1/4 sheet marble cake with whipped frosting. First of all, the whipped frosting is PHENOMENAL. We moved to Florida from Michigan over 6 years ago and have searched for a delicious whipped frosting from all kinds of bakeries from grocery to high-end.. and Walmart's takes the cake [ literally - ;-) ]. Secondly, the cake was moist and delicious! I would definitely recommend 10/10 for any occasion!
