Hi Melissa, | |
Morning melissakj, You asked me to let you know what I thought of the DIY Pore Stripes if I gave it a try. Well I finally found the right gelatin to make it last week. If you do give this a try let me forewarn you it sinks! I was pretty surprised at just how bad it smells. At least I found it to have an awful smell to it. Almost like sour milk. The amounts of the ingredients also seems to make way to much if your just going to use it on your nose. I had enough to do my nose, chin and both cheeks and there was still over half left over. I put a lot on each place making me have to wait a good 30 minutes for it to completely dry, not the 30 second we were told to leave it on for. It also hurt when I was pulling it off my face and left each spot red for hours later. It was also hard to get off in some places and flaked off where it was on thinner. When I was able to get a nice sized peace off at one time, I didn't see a thing come off. Other then maybe a few small hairs and that's pretty much how it felt. Like you were pulling tiny hairs out by the roots. As far as I'm concerned unless you have another use for the gelatin its a big waste of money and your time. I may have done something wrong, but I really don't think so. There wasn't much you could do to screw this up. Any how that was my experience with it, if you do decide to give it a try let me know how it worked out for you. | |
