I have recently started shopping at AEO for my teenaged daughter. She is average in height/size, but seems to have a very hard time finding low-rise jeans that fit her comfortably. The staff worked with her to find the right size/fit and we came away (for the first time ever, anywhere!) with her feeling excited to have new jeans. They have a ton of different sizes and styles and I honestly can't say enough about the helpfulness and positivity of the staff.
I have had to return some things I have purchased for my daughter, and the return process was simply and easy. No hassles whatsoever.
I would rate the prices on the higher side, however they often have decent sales/promos and if you take advantage, the prices are average. While they have trendy styles, they also have lots of "classics" and I've been exceptionally impressed with every aspect of AEO. I will continue to shop there and continue to tell others about my experiences there.

Like the paired shampoo, I have not become a fan of this conditioner, and will not continue to use it.
As I #gotitfree to try and review, I wanted to give the shampoo and conditioner a solid try before reviewing. I used both for one week. The conditioner is a creamy white colour/texture. It is thick enough that it didn't run down my hand when I held it up, but not thick like a treatment conditioner/hair mask. The scent is very chemical/perfume based, with a tiny hint of coconut undertone.
If I had to choose, I did like the conditioner better than the matching shampoo, but this may be because conditioner always feels good in my hair. It was easy to slather through my wet hair, but harder to rinse out. It was hard to tell if it was all rinsed out because my hair was left feeling coated or slightly slimy.
It worked well as a detangler - my wet hair was easy to comb through. After blow drying, my hair was limp, and heavy. It was soft, for sure, but it almost seemed to look greasy at the roots. This is not a product I would buy or continue to use.

I have not become a fan of Dove's Nutritive Solutions Coconut and Hydration Shampoo.
The shampoo is clear and has a thicker texture - it did not run down my hand when I held it upright. It has a strong-ish scent, but to me I didn't smell coconut or lime. It was a chemical perfume scent. I asked my daughter to blindly smell-test it, and she was unable to identify any fruit or citrus scent.
The shampoo lathers up quite a bit and rinses out easily. Before conditioning, my hair felt "squeaky" clean, but I usually identify this feeling as having stripped my hair of all natural oils - something I don't want.
Overall, I really didn't like the scent, and was disappointed that the coconut wasn't a bigger part of the product. The ingredients does list coconut oil, but it is one of the lesser ingredients. There was no listing for lime, which it is supposed to also smell like. I was left with the concern that the shampoo is marketed using coconut for hydration/nutrients for your hair, but it is only meant to be scent. There is nothing that clarifies what the "Nutritive Solution" or "hydration" actually is - they have just seemed to throw the word coconut in because it's a popular ingredient these days.

I love the idea of having veggies in the pasta, and I'm all about non-gmo products. So I was thrilled to be selected to try Catelli's Smart Veggie Spaghetti. First off, truly, it really does taste just like regular white pasta. There is no way that even the fussiest of eaters could tell the difference! It's quick to make (7 minutes to cook the whole box), but it wasn't quite enough for our family of four (with 2 big teenaged eaters!). I wish it had more than a 1/2 serving of vegetables per pasta serving ... this doesn't amount to very much - but I guess every little bit helps. I like that the pasta is high in fibre as well. We are a pasta-eating family, and this would be a staple in our household if the cost weren't twice that of regular pasta. With only a 1/2 serving of dehydrated carrot and cauliflour combined per meal, I'd much rather feed my family fresh veggies and save $$ by buying regular pasta. The pasta was firm, not mushy, and had a very nice texture.

So, being of Italian descent, I'm all about pasta. But knowing what we all know about wheat products these days, I am fairly choosey. I want non-gmo. And ancient grains are much better for us. When I was selected to try Catelli Ancient Grains Rotini in the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club, I was so excited! I cooked it exactly according to the directions on the box ... nice and easy! I cooked it al dente and used it in a turkey casserole. I (of course) tried the pasta plain, right out of the pot. I loved the flavour. It has almost a very mild nutty flavour, and a coarser texture than some pastas. Cons: when mixing my casserole, the already-cooked pasta broke up into little pieces. Much of it didn't stay as whole rotini. Now, honestly, in a casserole, who cares ... right? My family sure didn't. Everyone could tell by the flavour and texture that it was different than regular white or whole wheat pasta, and it was a hit. Based on flavour alone, it would get a perfect rating. I wouldn't recommend this pasta for anything where presentation matters though, because of how it fell apart. While I loved the taste, I do feel the cost is a bit on the high side for a box of pasta. I know that anything non-gmo or with ancient grains (or any claim of being healthier) comes with a higher cost, and this irks me at the best of times. This pasta costs approximately 2 times as much as a similar sized box of regular rotini, and I'm not sure I am prepared to pay that price on a regular basis. One box of prepared pasta (mixed into a casserole) made 5 dinner-sized servings. -

Although I do give DQ credit for making the ice cream cake a popular item, I am really not a fan of theirs. This is mostly because of the chocolate crunch stuff they put in the middle. I do not like it at all, and for me, it ruins the cake. Other than that, they are ok. The ice cream quality is on the better side of average, and the icing on the cake is good - not too sweet and goes quite nicely with the ice cream. The fact that they can put pretty much any image on a cake is pretty cool, though!! -

If you are looking for a perfect gift - for yourself, or someone else! - Ferrero Rocher is the way to go! The taste is perfect, the texture is perfect - smooth & crunchy all in one! I would actually classify these as gormet chocolate (sooooooo much better than other boxed chocolates you can buy at mass merchandisers). The cost is decent, and they are regularly on sale. I like to have a few boxes on hand in case I need a quick "thank you" gift, or in case I have a personal chocolate crisis! -

We go through a ton of this cereal! It has a great "crunch" that comes from the clusters and flakes. A tiny bit on the sweet side, but I wouldn't say sugary. It's pretty expensive (like many cereals) but I've found that Costco has the best price by a long shot (and it goes on sale there often!). Vector really is like a full meal ... when I eat it for breakfast, I'm really not hungry until lunch! -
It wasn't worth the price for me ... I bought two, but they don't stay put on my head and wind up sliding back and sticking up (not a good look!). Nice colours, but pretty pricey for something that didn't work for me.

We tried these just the other night ... good to use when in a time pinch! Easy and simple - just pop in the oven. I didn't even bother turning/flipping them, and they cooked perfectly. The kids LOVED them, and I admit I did too! I like that McCain has such variety in their Superfries. I rated the quality as "average" because these are not organic or local potatoes, and because they are a typical product that families can use as a "filler" to their meals. Good price, filling, yummy, but not overly nutritional. That being said, I know I will buy these again. I'd like to try them as a base to a lasagne-type casserole! -
