It is a very good thing that sephora allows you to try on the colours before you buy them because there was pretty much only one yellow that actually shows up on my brown skin. That is super unfortunate considering the colour was too bright for my liking. I would have said it was poor quality if it can't show up on my skin, but the most of the other colours in this line didn't seem to have that much of a problem. I find that I do tend to have to layer the lighter colours that are already under toned in my skin colour, and it can be difficult to make them show up, but the ones that do work stay on for ages and are really, really bright. I can't always find the colours I want, which is baffling to me considering how many shades they have in this line. However, the shades I do have are long lasting both with application and just with how little you need to use to get the fully pigmented effect. -

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT. This is probably the product that got me into buying better quality makeup. I love bold and unusual makeup, so when I found this I fell absolutely in love. Unfortunately, I only bought one before I found out they discontinued it for individual consumers. They only sell it to professional makeup artists now or something along those lines. I asked in store, and they basically said I'd never be able to get it. But it goes to show how amazing this product is that they decided to pull it back from the average consumer, perhaps. The pigmentation is ridiculous and lasts for days. Days as in it will get on everything and never ever go away. Since it is a powder, it's very hard to control where it goes which does make it super messy, but it's also not permanent. I love how versatile it is, because I can mix it in with almost anything and make myself a whole new product. It's like using gold flakes but with way more flexibility and more shades of it. It also lasts forever in terms of how slowly it runs out. The colour is impossibly saturated, so the tiniest amount of powder goes a long, long way. That means one pot of this stuff can last forever, and that's good news for me now that I can't find this stuff anymore. -

I like the easy blending, but it also had a tendency to blend and disappear. By that, I mean that it seemed like I hadn't put any concealer on at all. It seemed like it would be really good quality, but it definitely needed a lot of support to be worth it, such as primer, colour correction, etc. which is not entirely my style, as I don't like the feel of heavy makeup. On that note, it didn't feel heavy at all, but that advantage for me was really glossed over considering I never really managed to get the coverage I wanted on my more difficult areas. It seemed to do decently on uneven skin tone, but it still wasn't the best. It acted more like drugstore quality, in my opinion, which is a little ironic considering my drugstore concealer works way better. -

I was scared of this at first because I tend to have allergic reactions to perfumes in products and it smells so lovely, but clearly I was misguided because it is absolutely safe for my skin. I don't know why I thought otherwise. It adds another layer of hydration and care to an already great product, plus it makes me smell amazing and gears away from the now well known "vaseline" smell (not that I ever minded that). -

Vaseline is my life. I have at least three large tubs of it at any one time. I use it for anything that comes to mind - lotion, chapstick, hair gel, crafts - it is literally always on me or beside me. It is basically one of the rare few products that doesn't make me break out in hives, so it is an absolute staple to my life. Coming from a poor family, this stuff was a saviour, and still is. -

I got one of these free with a box of tampons ages ago, so I wasn't at all invested when I tried it. The consistency is AMAZING, it slides on so luxuriously. The pigmentation on most of the ones I've tried is minimal, so it's mostly for just a touch of colour when you don't want a super dramatic look. There are darker shades that I haven't tried personally that may give more pigmentation. Mostly, I love this lipstick because of how hydrating it is. I have chronically dry skin and extremely sensitive skin, so most lipsticks irritate me and dry my lips out in an instant. I usually have to apply a bunch of protective and hydrating layers on underneath and repeat the process over halfway through the day. With this lipstick, I have none of those problems. My first one actually ran out super quick because I ended up using it INSTEAD of my chapstick. If I could, I would have one in every colour available. -

This is my absolute go to liner. The first one I bought was the blackest one, and I've had it for years. It is STILL running smooth and silky and the colour stays bold and true, where most of my other old liners have gone rock hard and faded. I recently went back and bought about five different shades. While I do usually buy other liners that are more cost friendly, I splurge on these liners when I can. -

I mainly bought this because of how amazing it feels on my skin. I was so obsessed with it I hardly even cared if it worked on my skin so long as I could start my day smoothing this stuff on my face. I didn't realize until I tried to use it with my makeup exactly how little my pores already are, which meant it didnt have much of an affect on me. It did make me look a little more airbrushed, but the effect was not as dramatic as it was when I tested it on my hand at the store. I don't like the consistency of it before it's blended, mostly because it is easy to drop and a little harder to blend. However, I used it on my sister who has really visible pores, and it had a better effect on her. I am still not sure how I feel about this product as a pore minimizer even after several uses, but overall, I would recommend it as a very quality primer as it works great for the longevity of your makeup. -

This wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be considering most colour correcting palettes I've seen start at $35 CAN. However, I did regret buying it after a couple uses. It is really, really, really thick to the point of being unusable. I thought it would soften up with body heat, but it still stacked on to my face instead of blending in, so it looks like I'm five shades whiter than I actually am. I usually just end up taking it all off and going without. -

I bought Cosmo Kitty as a cheaper alternative of an urban decay shade I fell in love with. The colour comes pretty close to what I wanted, but the shade is much more satin than advertised. I find it acts more like lip gloss than lipstick for me, I have to bring it around in my pocket to touch up every few minutes. I've tried liner underneath and it improves the longevity, but not by much. I also bought the matte black shade in this line, which is a great colour, but has a similar longevity issue with a satin finish. -
