Hubby surprised me this morning with McDonald's hot cakes. I really enjoyed them! They are light and fluffy and complimented perfectly with the butter and syrup McDonald's provides. I just wish they were a bit less expensive - he paid $4 for 3, and 3 (in my opinion) was not quite enough - I was still hungry afterwards! I also felt a bit guilty because the hotcakes come with a LOT of garbage - a bit Styrofoam tray with a plastic lid. Eep, sorry Earth! But they are darn tasty! -

This sounds like a strange flavor combination, but it works. The caramel popcorn is delicious - Smartfood nails it. The cheddar popcorn, however, leaves a bit to be desired. I think this popcorn would be way better if they mixed their fantastic white cheddar popcorn (far superior to this orange cheddar stuff) with the caramel popcorn. The weakness of the cheddar flavor (somewhat lacking in coating, could use more - and far more artificial tasting than the white cheddar stuff) made me deduct one star.
Overall, I would recommend this. It is a tasty and satisfying snack - but make sure to watch your serving size! There is nothing smart about the caloric punch of this popcorn! I have tried several other brands of Chicago mix popcorn and this one falls somewhere in the middle for taste - but it is the most cost effective version I have found. I usually pick mine up at Shoppers Drug Mart.

I found mine at Shoppers Drug Mart for $14.99
The lotion is very thin - if you tip the bottle it will dribble out. A little goes a long way! I have found that although the bottle advertises "non greasy" this isn't true. The lotion is very greasy, but it does absorb quickly (10-15 minutes) and leaves the skin soft and moisturized. Once it absorbs it is grease free, you just have to be patient after application and give it some time to absorb.
This lotion is too moisturizing to use on the entire body (and I live in a dry climate!). I have discovered that I love to use this lotion on the backs of my hands (too greasy to use all over the hands), on my elbows and most of all my dry, cracked feet. I have been applying this lotion to the soles of my feet nightly after my shower, and then just throwing socks on and letting it absorb. What a huge difference it has made! My feet are usually calloused (thick callouses, too) and cracked. Using this lotion alone (no pumice stone or filing of dead skin) has completely changed my feet. They are smooth! I absolutely adore this lotion as a foot lotion - it is truly the best I have found. Also, one application overnight to the back of my hands heals the "old lady skin" and leaves my hands looking (and feeling!) great.
This lotion is scent free and great for sensitive skin. When I apply it to areas of skin that have cracks and breaks (ie: very dry hands!) it does not irritate like other lotions do.
I have been using this bottle many times per week for months and it is still half full. This lotion is a great value for the price as it really lasts!
If you are looking for some SERIOUS moisture I highly recommend this product.

I do find that this polish is a bit thin, so two coats are a requirement, not a suggestion. The polish goes on even and dries quickly. It lasts a few days before chipping. It is easy to remove but I do find that the darker colors (blue and purple in particular) stain my nails, but this is easily prevented by applying a clear coat before I apply the color. This polish is pretty shiny and I do not find that it requires a shiny top coat. For the price, this is an excellent polish. I paint my toes with it all the time. -

I like to add a bit of this and a bit of milk to my coffee...yum! If you like flavored coffee, this is an easy, inexpensive option. -

I received this product (a small sample sized 20 mL bottle) in my ChickAdvisor premium welcome bag. This was my absolute FAVORITE product in the bag - in fact, I have already ordered a full size bottle from the company's website - I don't want to run out of this one!
The scrub is white and slightly (very, very lightly) fruity smelling. The product goes on easily - and the white color makes it easy to see where the scrub is on your face. I apply it using just my fingers, and massage it into my face. I focus on my nose and chin (my problem areas). The scrub is very gritty and the grit is very fine. The first time I used it, my face wasn't wet enough and it felt a bit like little pieces of glass/sand grinding into my skin - ouch! Since then I have learned that the face should be quite wet before applying this product.
The super fine grit stimulates my face - it feels revitalized and awake after use. It exfoliates the dry spots (I have two spots on my chin that get dry and a bit peely - this takes care of those!) and leaves my skin feeling SO SOFT. Usually after exfoliating my face feels dry and tight, but not with this product. My skin truly feels soft, supple and radiant after use. I apply moisturizer afterwards and my skin tone looks consistent and my skin is ridiculously soft afterwards.
The package says that this product is suitable for all skin types, but I think that if you have very sensitive skin it might be a bit too much for you. My normal skin, however, loves it. The directions say to use it 3-5 days per week and I find that every second day (3ish days per week) is perfect for me. My skin has never looked better, truly (and it even seems to help with my hormonal premenstrual acne)
Cannot recommend this product enough if you need a good exfoliating facial cleanser. This product is ultra gritty, smells yummy, doesn't bother my skin, and doesn't leave my face feeling tight and uncomfortable. Also, a little goes a long way! Every chick should have this product in their skin care arsenal. I'm very frugal and normally wouldn't spend this kind of money on a facial exfoliating cleanser ($34 per tube!!) but I felt that this product was worth it. If you're unsure and just want to try it - the trial size tube is only $6 on the Vasanti website. Can't go wrong!!

I received this product in my ChickAdvisor premium welcome bag. I was so very excited to try it out as the lipstick that came in the welcome bag wore off extremely quickly. I followed the directions to a t (shake, apply, let dry) but was not pleased with the results. I found that when I applied this topcoat, my lips felt almost gritty (the topcoat seemed to make the lipstick ball up a bit underneath and distribute strangely on my lips) which meant that I ended up mashing my lips together frequently. The first time I tried this product, I ate breakfast. I was pleased to discover no lipstick on my glass or cutlery - but when I looked in the mirror my lipstick was gone! Where did it go?!
I have tried this product a handful of times since then and every single time has been the same. One morning I applied it before work and about 30 minutes into my shift my coworker tipped me off that I needed to go look in the mirror - the lipcolor had disappeared from the center of my lips, leaving my lips looking like I was wearing liner only. NOT a good look!
Every single time I have used this product it has not worked. For $25 I cannot recommend it - it is a waste of money! It doesn't work as well as long lasting lipcolors and did nothing to increase the duration of my short-lasting lipsticks. No matter which lipstick I tried it with, the results were the same - the color disappeared just as quickly from my lips as it does when I do not wear the topcoat. The worst part? This product dries your lips out like nobody's business. Very uncomfortable. And if you touch your lips with a tissue (I have allergies, I am constantly blowing my nose and the tissue often touches me lips) the color comes right off.
The only claim this product followed through on was that it wouldn't leave lipstick on your glass/cup. This is true...it doesn't transfer to ceramic/glass. BUT that doesn't mean it stays on your lips either! Really wish I knew where the color disappeared to every time. Bottom line: don't waste your money on this product. Spoil yourself with a long lasting lipcolor instead - no top coat required.

The lipstick glides on easily but does not feel moisturizing (doesn't seem to dry my lips out, which is good - but I feel like I need a top gloss coat with it!)
The lipstick doesn't last! It rubs off on everything. This lipstick would have to be reapplied constantly throughout the day. It came off on my cups, my clothes...everything. Not impressed!
Overall, this lipstick is okay. I certainly wouldn't pay $21 for it - I'll be sticking with my $10 Revlon ultra-moisturizing-long-lasting drugstore lipstick.
This product is very overpriced for a lipstick that's only okay. I do not recommend this product at all.

I received this body wash as part of my ChickAdvisor Premium welcome gift. I have found it online for between $8-$12 per bottle (400 mL). At this price point, this should be considered a high end product. Because of this fact, I was very surprised to discover that this product contains sulfates! If I am paying this amount for a body wash, I want it to be sulfate-free. My usual "spluge" brands are Vitabath and Aveeno - both cost a fraction of what this stuff does and both are sulfate-free. Because of this fact, I will not be re-purchasing this product.
My favorite part of this product is the smell. It really does smell like a ripe, juicy orange. They nailed it! Many orange products smell super artificial (think Froot Loops) but this body wash nails the fresh orange smell. I reall,y, really enjoy it - and I love that it lingers in my bathroom and on my skin after a shower.
The body wash itself is creamy and feels luxurious on the skin (good foam factor). It rinses easily and completely. But, in my opinion, it doesn't compare to how Aveeno or Vitabath make my skin feel - truly moisturized. This stuff feels more like a temporary moisture Band-Aid - the skin feels quite dry when toweling off after your shower.
