Thank you Chick Advisor for sending me a coupon in exchange for my honest review. - I was excited to give Canada Dry Blackberry Ginger Ale a try. I knew that Canada Dry was trying other temporary seasonal flavours and was disappointed that I missed the Cranberry Ginger Ale. When I bought this season's Canada Dry Blackberry Ginger Ale, it was on sale at Superstore for $3.67 and the box had a $2.00 coupon on it for the next purchase. An excellent price!. I noticed that it was caffeine free and came in at 130 calories a can. When I first opened the can, it displayed that normal Canada Dry fizz and the smell was slightly reminiscent of blackberries. First taste indicated it was clean and refreshing with nice carbonation. There was a slight aftertaste at the back of my mouth of blackberries. The drink reminded me somewhat of an old Clearly Canadian product. I also had my adult daughters try the drink and they were very enthusiastic. Both indicated they would buy the product, especially for the summer months. I myself am not much of a pop drinker, but when I do, Canada Dry is my go-to drink. Although I still prefer the Canada Dry standard, the Blackberry Ginger Ale is a possible substitution. -

Another solid entry in Cleeves's Shetland Island mystery series. Fair Isle is a remote location in the Shetland Islands, in many ways better known to dedicated birdwatchers than any other group of people. I loved the smallness of the island and the dreary, rainy weather is the perfect atmosphere for murder. The plot line was well written, although the twists toward the end of the book were somewhat annoying. -

This book is the first of a young adult series set in a fictional country of Ravka. Alina and Mal were the smallest and youngest orphans raised by the Duke after they had been rescued from the wars. As they got older they were tested for their aptitudes and moved to the capital. As the orphans were trained Mal became a highly skilled tracker for the army and Alina became a mapmaker. When Alina came to the attention of the Darkling, a near mystical member of the aristocracy her training intensified, developing powers within her that came to dominate her life. This is an excellent start to the trilogy and is highly recommended -

The book has many pleasant surprises and much character building. As an aside, Chapter 33 is an exquisite caricature of a political party event - it is absolutely brilliant. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to the third book.

When Inspector Coswell is called from Vancouver to Anahim, west of Williams Lake in British Columbia to assist Sergeant Blakemore in the investigation of the shooting of a young Mountie, he is somewhat apprehensive of the racial tensions between the local natives and their perceptions of "white man's justice". He finds he must deal with an aboriginal policeman, prejudiced white ranchers, tree planters and fallers, grow ops in the deep woods, and an aboriginal girl on a supervised methadone program at one of the ranches. This is an interesting read with two cultures dealing with their historical prejudices. -

It is lightweight and very moisturizing and my skin is feels both hydrated and soft when I use it. Having the SPF in it is a bonus for extra skin protection, but I would like a higher SPF factor. Highly recommended for dry skin. -
