I wear a full face of makeup everyday and was excited to try the Neutrogene Micellar water to complement the rest of the Neutrogena cleansers and moisturizers that I use on a daily basis. The first thing that I noticed is that it does remove makeup quite easily. However, i felt that I had to use a lot of product to get makeup off compared to other micellar waters that I've used in the past. I could easily finish 1/4-1/3 of a packet of cotton rounds in one evening. It was a bit wasteful. The other thing is that it left my make feeling sticky and still a bit dirty. It certainly did not feel more hydrated but definitely more dry. I started to use an oil cleanser after I used the micellar water to help balance my skin.

I will continue to use the micellar water until it is finished but only after I have cleansed my face thoroughly as it does help get out some remnant makeup and dirt. But I don't think I'd buy or recommend this product. I'd still recommend Neutrogena's hydroboost gel cleanser and moisturizer any day. It is unfortunate that that the micellar water did not meet the mark.    -
