This is exactly like the infamous NYX Jumbo Shadow Pencil in Milk -- except this is in a pot form. I don't suggest wearing this on its own -- it's not 100% budge-proof. That said, I LOVE this over a sheer primer (like Too Faced Shadow Insurance, UDPP, etc.). It evens out the color of the lids and makes my eyeshadow very vibrant. The consistency/texture of this is nice -- smooth, easy to apply, and so on. Overall, and for the price, definitely a great product to keep in your makeup arsenal. -

The texture and consistency are very nice and the pigmentation is there as well. This primer is just a little too thick and a little too sticky -- use it sparingly. I think the color is just a liiiittle too dark to be considered a general "skintone" but it is a nice neutral, matte shade. I definitely like this over a higher quality primer to even out the color of my lids, but on its own, this isn't crease-proof, so it's not my favorite. -

When I first picked this up, I thought it was a loose-powder shadow, only to open it at home and realize it was a cream shadow. Still, I'm not disappointed. These cream shadows are great. As far as I know, they come in seven different colors, on e.l.f.'s website, and you get 3g for $3USD. The one annoying thing about these is that the color is not written on the product. I have mine in the shade "Festivity," which is a dark plum with light shimmer running through it. The consistency of this is totally different and totally cool -- it's a pigmented, spongy gel-like formula. It reminds me a lot of the texture of the Maybelline Bouncy Blushes. Overall, I really like this shadow. It's creamy and pigmented, smooth not patchy, and in my experience has been long-wearing. I always wear this over a primer and under a powder though, so I can't say how it would perform on its own. For the price, definitely something to check out. The colors are pretty. -

Stila eyeshadows are AMAZING. I have the single in Kitten and it's probably my favorite eyeshadow ever. It's super soft, super creamy, and outrageously pigmented. The color is beautiful and applies so nicely. The packaging of these is sleek, slim, perfect. I highly recommend this shade in particular (Kitten).
These cost about $18 for 2.6 g -- a steep price tag, I know, but they're worth every penny, especially if you buy a palette (that's cheaper than individual shadows). I can't say I'll be running out to purchase a ton of these any time soon, but there are definitely some gorgeous colors that I plan on picking up. Love!

In a sentence, these are average. I feel like they're surrounded by a lot of undeserved hype. These cost about $7.99USD for 3.5g. The texture of these is unique -- they're very creamy, almost "wet" feeling, and they are very vibrant and metallic. The color range isn't anything super special -- just your typical neutral shades with a couple pops of color here and there. I don't find that these are any better than regular eyeshadows, and definitely not worth the price because of that. They're a little more difficult to work with than other shadows, and they're just not worth all the trouble and fuss. I don't like these and won't buy anymore unless they come out with some to-die-for color -- this kind of eyeshadow is just a fad. -

I LOVE these things! I have one in the color Painterly and plan on getting Soft Ochre, too. These are super creamy and definitely long-wearing -- they don't crease. I use this as an all-over eyeshadow primer. It cancels out any discoloration and makes shadows vibrant and long-wearing. These cost about $21USD for 0.17oz., while other popular primers like UDPP cost about $20USD for .37oz. However, other primers don't provide the coverage that paint pots do. Paint pots also come in a variety of colors and finishes, and can be worn alone or under shadow. Overall, I recommend them and can't wait to buy some more. -

These are one of the few cream shadows I've tried from a high-end brand (definitely better than the others, but I'm partial to the Maybelline Color Tattoo Shadows). They cost about $20USD for 4.5g. I have the shade called Silver Spoon, which I believe was limited edition -- it's just a shimmery silver color. These shadows are VERY soft, and rather sheer. They don't really pack a punch in the pigment department, but they do add some color. Regarding quality, I can't say these are outstanding. They are good, but they aren't as good as some other cheaper alternatives. Despite that, I would recommend them solely for the color selection. The line contains some very pretty, very unique shades that are totally worth checking out. -

I love these cream shadows so much that I have 8 of them. These cost about $6.99USD for 4g of product. They come in a variety of colors and finishes, with a permanent line and limited edition lines released seasonally. These creams are super smooth and they really pack a punch in the pigment department. They don't last forever -- they do dry out, but if you work through the dryness on top, the product is still as good as new underneath. These are great on their own for a quick all over wash, or as colored bases for powders. You don't need to wear primer underneath -- they won't crease. I love these -- they're the best cream shadows in the drugstore, hands down, and they even top some higher end ones. I recommend them all the way. -

These cost anywhere between $1USD and $2USD for 1.7g, depending on where you buy them. The shades are all so pigmented and smooth. They apply nicely and blend easily, and the packaging of these is great (it's sleek, sturdy, and not bulky). I can't say much about these other than they're great and a total steal. Definitely recommend them. -

I was in need of a matte black single eyeshadow to set my eyeliner and wanted to try something new. I picked up two of these: Betrayal (a dark, cool brown) and Stripped (a dark, grayish black). The shadows are soft and they blend nicely, but they aren't very pigmented. I feel like I need a lot of product to get the color I see when I look at the product in the pan. The shade Stripped is the darkest color in the line, the only "black," and it's more of a dark gray, which was really disappointing. Another issue I have with these is that it's hard to see the colors without opening the packaging. Obviously, you can't open the shadows in the store and there aren't always testers. I do not feel like these colors are true to their appearance, and that really bugs me -- you think you're getting one thing, but you're really getting another. Overall, I don't like these -- the not-pigmented thing is a big problem.
