This is on the very top of my list for favorite foundations. I can't get enough of this stuff. The consistency of this is, as its name would imply, moussy. It is truly matte and it wears that way all day long. It comes in a squeeze tube, so you just squeeze less than a pea-sized amount onto your fingers and rub it in. I find that's the best way to apply it. It really smooths and evens the skin, though it does cling to dry patches (as most matte foundations do). Overall, I give this foundation an A++ in the following categories: appearance, texture, longevity, convenience, quality. It's just about everything I could wish for in a foundation. Plus, you can't beat the price. -

This foundation always has been, and likely always will be, my holy grail and go-to. I've gone through three or four bottle and it's just amazing. It comes in two formulas -- one for normal/dry skin and one for oily/combo skin. While I have the latter, I tend to prefer the dry/normal skin version. This foundation covers without caking and it really lasts as long as it claims. You only need a small amount to get flawless, even skin. This foundation can be a little thick and dries rather quickly, so you have to work fast, but that's not a problem because it blends well. I don't recommend this foundation for prolonged, everyday wear. It's great, but because of it's heavy nature, it can easily clog pores (in my experience). I find that I really have to give my face a good, thorough cleaning after wearing this. Overall, this foundation is just as phenomenal as everyone claims it is.. certainly worth the help and highly recommended. -

I've heard a lot of people complain about this, but I LOVE it! You get about 1 oz for $13USD. The shade range is nice -- it doesn't do much to accommodate those with darker skin, but as far as a lighter complexion goes, there are plenty of shades in plenty of tones. The consistency of this is very runny -- almost like water. You have to twist the cap off and pour the product into your hands, which can be a little messy if you aren't careful. I find that the best way to apply this is with your fingers, so that's convenient. Once you've mastered the use of this foundation, it's great. You just rub it in and it does a beautiful job of evening things out. It's not the fullest coverage, but it's certainly flawless and the finish is great. It does dry to a "powder," but not a super powdery-powder, if that makes sense. I'm still able to cover spots with concealer afterward. Overall, this is one of my favorite foundations ever, period. I'm on my second bottle! I highly recommend giving it a try. -

Some of these shades are better than others. Overall, they're pretty great. They're average quality -- average pigmentation, average texture, average blendability, etc. You get 5.5g for $5USD, which is pretty good. These are definitely better than a lot of other drugstore eyeshadows (the Maybelline ones are horrible, for example). Some of the color combinations are very unique and rather pretty. I highly recommend Country Woods and Sheerly Nudes. Totally worth a try. -
I feel like these duos are hit or miss. You get 4.5g for $6USD and these can only be purchased at Walmart (as far as I know). The colors are pretty and the fact that they're baked makes them unique, but these aren't very pigmented. It takes a lot of... +
I feel like these duos are hit or miss. You get 4.5g for $6USD and these can only be purchased at Walmart (as far as I know). The colors are pretty and the fact that they're baked makes them unique, but these aren't very pigmented. It takes a lot of work to even get any product on the brush. If you swatch these, you get barely any product on your fingers. Some are better than others, though. Baked shadows are meant to be used wet, but these don't perform well that way either. I wouldn't recommend these -- there are better shadows out there all over the place. -
I have these in a couple of different shades and HATE them. These eyeshadows are horrible. They're so poorly pigmented that you can't even pick up any color on the brush. I have to actually dig my brush into the product to pick anything up. If you... +

The concept and colors of these are very nice, but they're nothing spectacular. You get 8.5g for $13USD. There's no divisions between the colors, so it's hard to pick up just one at a time -- they get mixed together, which is definitely a pain... +

There's no divisions between the colors, so it's hard to pick up just one at a time -- they get mixed together, which is definitely a pain. These are good quality, but not worth the pricetag (for a drugstore product, anyway). I've heard a lot of people rave about these, but I just can't figure out what's so great. -

I love these eyeshadows, but more for the colors than anything else. The shades are gorgeous, blendable and smooth. These are anything but convenient though, being loose. I don't think these are worth the $15USD they cost, considering the hassle they are to work with. Still though, the color range is beautiful and a lot of these are great for a simple, in-a-hurry one-color eyeshadow look. I recommend at least checking out the colors. The bareMinerals Ready Shadows are AMAZING -- definitely look into those. -

I'm not sure if you can still even purchase these shadows -- they may have been discontinued. I only have this in the lightest shade, 001 Vintage Lace. You get 2.4g but the price varies depending on where you purchase it (just Google it). In my experience, these shadows are very soft but not chalky, and very silky smooth. They blend out beautifully. They don't seem to be super pigmented, so they're probably not a great all-over lid color, but as a crease/transition shade or a highlight, these are great. Definitely worth a try. -

This eyeshadow base is just ok. In comparison to the other bases from the same line, it's a lot dryer in texture. The concept is nice -- it makes your eyeshadows appear more vibrant and adds a hint of shine. I don't like this all over my eyelid, but I do like it on the inner part of my eyes (to brighten them). It works great for that, but I don't feel like this product is worth it just for that purpose (I could easily use an eyeliner or something else). For the price, it might be worth a try, but definitely not a must-have. -
