I've used hair removal products in the past (razors, wax that you have to melt, professional sugaring, etc.) and I find that at-home products are the best for my situation. I normally use a tube of wax that requires melting and cloth strips to remove; these Nair strips are way easier though! I'm going to purchase these types of wax strips from now on because they're user-friendly, easily accessible at most major stores, travel-friendly, and from a brand that many people recognize. The instructions state you don't need to "warm up" the strips by rubbing them however, I still rubbed them to get an ideal waxing temperature. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to remove hair in their sensitive bikini area or face (wouldn't recommend for larger areas due to the small size). The ONLY downside is the wax leaves a sticky residue that even the "post-wax wipes" couldn't remove, but a quick shower did the trick.

I've tried many skincare brands over the years and Aveeno is familiar and feels "safe" to me. It's also an accessible brand since it's carried at most major grocery stores. Given that background, I had high hopes for this product. I ALWAYS use SPF because my grandmother drilled it into me as I was growing up (she always warned me about skin cancer). As many know, SPF usually has a whiteish tint once applied... Luckily, this absorbed quickly so it didn't leave a white cast! At first, it came out as a salmon-ish colour (like tinted moisturizer) and I was worried it wouldn't blend in, but it did. While I don't think it provided any coverage like a tinted moisturizer would, I wasn't expecting it to. I'll continue to use this as my daily moisturizer because it works well for my sensitive skin, but I'll find a product with higher SPF protection for the summer when I'm outdoors more (I usually have 100+ SPF sunscreen). Overall, a good product I'd recommend. -

AVEENO® Calm+Restore Skin Therapy Balm is technically marketed for mild skin irritation like ezcema, poison ivy, etc. However I used it on some arm scratches (from my cat) and it worked well. I applied a small amount on the fresh cut (literally happened a few minutes before I applied) and it instantly soothed the irritation. It also healed the cut faster than if I hadn't applied any product - I can't even see the scratch anymore a week later! I'm definitely keeping this in my work bag (I do field work where we come across poison ivy daily) for all of next summer. Do I think this is a must-have? No, but if you find that you have skin irritations that regular lotion can't fix, then you should try this product. Personally, I think this is geared more towards people with ezcema or extremely dry skin that everyday lotion can't hydrate enough. Would I buy this product with my own money? Probably only if I was experiencing issues like ezcema or poison ivy. I find that normal lotion is good enough for my daily use. I really appreciate getting this product so I can keep it for specific situations, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it. -

The AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator is a gentle option for those with sensitive skin (like me)! The first time I used it, it was so smooth I didn't think it was even doing anything, however when I rinsed it off with a warm washcloth, I was SHOCKED. My skin was softer, smoother, and it even looked brighter. I've used it every second day for the last week and I can honestly say my skin is improving. I did receive this product for free, but I would purchase it with my own money as well. I don't like exfoliating everyday, so this will be every few days for me. I recommend it to all my pals with sensitive skin (or even normal skin)! I'm surprised it made my face so soft because it truly just feels like I'm rubbing face wash when I'm using this product. I love how Aveeno is also easily accessible and affordable for most people. If you have the chance, try it! -

The Bai Antioxidant Infusion Molokai Coconut drink is a tasty alternative to traditional energy drinks. The Bai is slightly sweet, but not overly like Monster, Redbull, etc. The coconut taste is noticeable, but not overbearing. I drank this before my road trip & it gave me a nice afternoon boost of energy. I enjoyed this drink and I'd buy it again! -
