This was a nice snack on the go, not very different to regular granola bars but the protein content is something I look for. Taste is good, I just don't like how sweet it was. It tasted almost like a candy bar. I don't know if the sweetness was due to whatever binder they uses to keep the bar together but definitely would prefer something less sweet. The cashew flavour is better than the almond flavour in my opinion. I don't know if I would purchase these again on my own, I did get them free through Chick Advisor. -

#gotitfree with ChickAdvisor last month. I tried this flavour as well as the chocolate peanut butter one and I think I prefer the other but not by much. The taste isn't bad but it doesn't taste or feel like real food... I've had protein bars in the past that have felt like a good chewy snack bar, not a packed cake of dried up nutrients. I like that it has 20g of protein and it kept my blood sugar up through a work out and was also a good snack for after a workout but I don't think I would go out of my way to purchase this myself and prefer other bars even if they are more expensive. It's not my first choice for a satisfying snack. -

I got this free through ChickAdvisor but it arrived to my house way past the deadline for review so I figured I would take my time and give it a good testing. I tried it for a week and a half and each time I used it, it made my hair look like I had just washed and blown it. Any trace of greasiness was gone and gave my hair good volume, which is saying something because my hair is very flat. There was a white cast at first but it was easily brushed and wiped out. My scalp felt a little itchy with the product on it but it wasn't a major issue. One thing I really liked was that there was no powdery residue... Some products will leave a powder on your scalp that will fall and flake like dandruff... Very unattractive! But I'm happy to report this did not. My hair did feel a little gritty and dry but it wasn't terrible. My biggest concern with this product is that it's an aerosol product which my green side does not agree with...plus the butane in it freaks me out a bit. I'm not a chemist or a doctor or anything but as a consumer, that ingredient doesn't sound like it's good for any part of me. I wish batiste would create a compressed air version or a simple spritz bottle for their dry shampoos... But perhaps the aerosol is part of how it works so well.
Overall, it works and does the job but is not for all-natural and eco-friendly lovers.

I received this free through Chick Advisor a few days ago in the mail and was very excited to try it. Silicone based primers generally break me out. My skin is odd - my face is mostly on the dry side, but my t-zone gets very oily throughout the day.
This product has a very strong smell... It doesn't smell bad but it has a very strong perfume smell to it, like a feminine aftershave or cologne. I prefer unscented or lightly scented, but am not super sensitive to it. If you are sensitive to fragrance, you might want to skip this one because it's very strong.
The texture is really nice - feels like a nice light weight moisturizer and absorbs into the skin really well with no greasy feeling. It leaves a soft and silky finish on the skin which helps makeup apply nicely. It doesn't fill pores at all so this is something to skip if you're looking for pore filling/texture smoothing. There's tapioca starch in it which I think is really interesting... I feel like that's what gives the skin such a silky soft feel. There are some silicones in it but they seem different than the typical silicone-based primer and isn't super slippery or oily-feeling. Again, my skin is on the dry side and I think I would have appreciated a more hydrating product.
My makeup stayed on pretty well throughout the day and didn't make my skin react, although it could be too early to tell. I wish it had more of a blurring effect on the skin and that the fragrance wasn't so strong.
It's not a bad product and I would recommend this to people who don't have major skin issues/texture issues that need a little something that doubles as a primer as well as a moisturizer. I plan on using the rest of it but I don't think I would purchase it myself.

I was really excited to try this but it was quite a disappointment. At $4cad, it's very affordable and I figured it couldn't be that bad. The primer side works okay... It goes on very streaky so it makes me feel like my Lipstick won't go on very well. It works okay but I don't feel like it does much... It maybe keeps my cream lipsticks on a bit longer but I can't tell a difference.
The lip plumper side however was a completely fail. After a couple of uses, the bullet wouldn't twist up anymore. I had to pry it out of the packaging and put it into a small container to use. The first week or so of using it, it was very stingy on the lips but didn't do much for plumping... It just made my lips burn. After a couple weeks of having it, it didn't even feel tingly anymore... It was just a slight tingle for a few seconds and then it would fade. This side of the product was a huge fail.
It's not even worth the $4 to end up with 1 mediocre product. I cannot recommend at all :(

This is one of my fave primers. The Anti-Blemish qualities drew me in and it actually works! It's not a super mattifying primer but it really helps cut the greasiness even though I still have to blot on my trouble areas. The texture is perfect - not as thick as the smashbox classic primer and not to slippery either. It doesn't really fill in pores so I think that's one of the down sides. However, I find that with all silicone-based primers, my pores tend to get a little clogged up and I end up with tiny bumps on my forehead. This formula helps to reduce and sometimes completely prevent that from happening. I would highly recommend for those who are mildly acne prone but I'm not sure how it would perform for those who have very acne prone. -

I had seen this product all over blogs and YouTube claiming this to be the ultimate brightening and setting powder for makeup. I personally use it to set my greasy areas and it really helps keep my face from getting overly oily. A quick blot during the day and back to matte. At first, the texture felt a little gritty between my fingers but it applies really smoothly and the yellow colour isn't overwhelming on my light-medium olive/tan/golden skin. The best part is it's price... Such a great quality product and it totally undercuts the prices of high end powders found at the likes of sephora and department stores. Ben nye luxury powders come in a LARGE variety of colours so if the yellow doesn't work out, there's bound to be another one for your skin.

These are great long-wearing lipsticks, all controversy aside.
I have 2 shades, Lana (a metallic bronze) and pumpkin (a dark burnt orange). Both shades are among the thicker formulas of liquid lippies I've tried and they go on super smooth and opaque... A little bit goes a long way! Lana has a lightly sweet scent, kind of like a vanilla cupcake but pumpkin smells odd to me, like play-doh. Not cute, but the smell doesn't linger so that's good. I'm not sure if it's because it's metallic, but Lana actually chipped off the edge of one lip the first time I wore it, but maybe I applied it too thick. That was a weird phenomenon. Otherwise, it stated out extremely well. I wore pumpkin to lunch one day and expected to have to reapply afterwards but I went to the washroom and it was still sitting pretty on my lips! Impressive! It's pretty drying on the lips as a standard liquid lippie would be but nothing outrageous.
Limecrime has gorgeous colours so I may want to try them again in the future.
