Sidekicks fettuccine Alfredo has always been a go-to lunch or dinner side wherever I was. My parents, my dorm, my first apartment, they were always stocked in my pantry.
Always got them on sale at the grocery store so they were never over $1 each. $1 to fill me up is a pretty good value to me.
They’ll always be delicious and always save me money. All the things I’m looking for.

Visited this restaurant on my birthday this year and I was nothing but happy with my experience.
Of course, the pink Beef Hollandaise Eggs Benny is what caught my eye, so it only seemed necessary to pair it with a Blue Matcha Tea. Everything tasted amazing and the eggs were cooked the perfection. Having a Latke instead of the English muffin was the perfect touch
The service was amazing and all seemed to work well as a team and assure all tables were taken care of promptly. I can’t wait to revisit!

I don’t care how many expensive restaurants offer $300 seafood towers for people to take Instagram pictures of, or how many places offer Lobster boils for $50/person, Red Lobster will always win for me.
I grew up in a small town in Northern Ontario where we didn’t have many options for restaurants, but I always knew I loved seafood because of the rare occasions my would get shrimp or have lobster boils with neighbours, I would just die for it. I had always seen Red Lobster commercials on TV and had longed for what looked like such buttery goodness. It wasn’t until I was around 12 that my mother had driven me to a competition in London, that I finally got to try it. Being the first and probably only time (I though) I’d get to go, I got the Ultimate Feast. I fell in love and instantly new, my stomach heart was at Red Lobster.
My parents left our small town and moved to where there was actually a Red Lobster, and since then it’s been a birthday tradition. Every year, I have to get the Ultimate Feast. I mean why wouldn’t you? It comes with a bit of everything and it’s cheaper than any other Seafood Tower you’d find at some patio restaurant that doubles as a night club. Even this year with Covid, I ordered my Ultimate Feast to go and as per tradition, it did not disappoint.

I have a corgi who is a very picky eater and she loves this food.
She’s constantly going back to visit the bag in the pantry and begs for little snack throughout the day. She is rarely food motivated but this stuff seems to do the trick.
She also had a very sensitive stomach and often times has a hard time doing her business, but with this food everything is quick and solid and it makes walks in the city so much easier.
It is a little pricey but you can say that about all natural dog foods.

I loved this stuff. I received this item free through Chick Advisor’s Product Review Club. The first thing I made with it was the pasta recipe on the card and it was delicious. I didn’t put garlic in it at all because I wanted to see how the garlic flavour really came out in the juice and I was impressed. The flavour was there but not too strong and definitely didn’t mask the flavour of the lemon. I was expecting the bottle to be larger and I wish it was because I’ll be using this often. -

I really dislike how much commission Uber Ears collects from restaurants but the other options in comparison are just so bad, skip the dishes being the worst. Every single time I’ve ordered, it’s taken half an hour longer for my food than the original estimated time, and twice it’s happen that they’ve either brought it to the wrong building or left it in the lobby and it was stolen. It doesn’t help that there is no way to contact the driver if you see them driving too far or they leave the food in the wrong place. It’s cheaper for sure but having lost my food twice and the added delivery time is not worth it at all. -
I love this restaurant. Hands down one of the best breakfast places in the city and best place to find breakfast tacos! Easy restaurant has become a birthday tradition since moving to Toronto.

This place opened last year in Long Branch along Lake Shore West in the GTA. I LOVE custard. Just all custards, when it opened I had to try it.
They have very unique flavours and they’re all homemade. My personal favourite is the Earl Grey Lavender in a donut sandwich. Or Cookie Monster in a chocolate chip cookie sandwich. It’s all very good.
It’s a little on the pricier side but I guess it is frozen custard and for Toronto it’s still pretty good.
I would recommend going here as it’s such a nice a unique treat on a hot day.

Purchased this on amazon for about $35. After using a previously very ineffective nail drill, this one seemed like magic. Though after a few uses, it seems to be vibrating a lot more, and is a lot more difficult for long time uses. The design is also odd, as if you need to change the speed, you need to get to the switch down the chord instead of just being able to change it on the pen. The chord is long enough to be able to plug it in to a wall socket.
The pen itself does it’s job but it takes me almost 15 minutes per nail. I use at-home dip manicures, so I use it mostly to shape out the final product. Definitely go slow with it and be careful at first as it’s very easy to make one wrong move and mess up the whole nail. I would recommend this to beginners but that’s it because I feel like anyone with experience would be less than impressed.

Amazon had few options left as I’m sure I’m not the only one doing this. The bike was $157+tax and took about two weeks to arrive. It was supposed to arrive a week earlier but Amazon kept updating the date, it was getting super frustrating. Canada Post didn’t even bother to deliver it either. The guy showed up with the slip written and when I met him outside to get it he said it would fit in the truck. I was worried about having to pick it up because of how big it might have been but upon going to get it myself from the pharmacy (literally 200m from my place), it was nothing. It was heavy, I’ll give him that. (41lb) but no way this thing “didn’t fit in his truck.” Regardless, I got it and assembly was alright.
Instructions were clear enough to understand after some serious piece-matching and the bike is sturdy and a really nice size. The seat is more comfortable than other gym bikes over used, it’s got lots of padding. I like how small it is without being a fold up bike. The resistance gets pretty high and definitely gives a good work-out. After 30 mins everyday I’m definitely sweating and my legs are jelly. I’m so happy I purchased this when I did as the price went up on Amazon two weeks later to $249. I would definitely recommend this exercise bike for beginners like me who are looking for a fun and effective workout.
