I always use a lip balm/vaseline as a base before applying this product. If I have time, I would exfoliate before using this lipstick as well. I also like to dap the lipstick onto my lips instead of gliding harshly.

It retailed for $9.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart. and about $8CAD at Walmart.
I purchased this last week for $3.99 CAD at Shoppers Drug Mart. I recently started to watch for weekly flyer deals!
Review:
I only decided to purchase this lipstick because of the sale at Shoppers and because I haven't had any new matte lipsticks in the past 5 years or so, due to bad experiences with formulations.
On makeupalley and beauty blogs, I always see that it was compared to a MAC's pink lipsticks such as "Viva Glam Gaga", "Saint Germain" and "All Styled Up" but honestly, none of these are dupes at all. Personally, if I remember the swatch of "I like it like that" correctly, I think that Pink Pout reminds me strongly of it. To me, Pink Pout is a barbie pink with cool undertones leaning slightly towards a bit mauve as well. It helped get my smokey eye make up pop and I usually like to pair this color with purple eye make up. I think that it looked really good on my light and yellow undertoned skin. Lastly, it is pigmented even with just one coat, especially if you like a tint of the color without being cakey.
The texture of this lipstick allows it to glide smoothly during application. However I do find that the formula is still drying. Over time, about 2 hours, I find that my lips are dried. I would need to take it off entirely and reapply starting with a lip balm as base. Having a base makes it much better for application. Otherwise, if applied without any base, my lips become extremely dry and flaky. I usually get this result with matte lipsticks.
The lasting power is overall good. It didnt smear around my lips area or onto my teeth, it stays put exactly where you apply it. I don't need it to last too long like 6 hours because I tend to eat or drink a lot during a day. One of the best part is that there wasn't a funny smell or any weird after taste.
For packaging, I like that it is simple and that the top is see-through so I can see the colour. Makes it much easier to find the right shade considering most of you guys have TONS of lippies. Many lipsticks on the market have the product slightly outside the tube when retracted (like a little head peeking out). This Revlon lipstick can retract entirely inside the tube, which I like because sometimes the lid comes off when its being thrown around in my purse. This way, the product doesn't smear all over my purse.
Overall: ♥♥♥♥
Product: 4/5 ♥ Still somewhat drying, rich texture, and beautiful colour.
Packaging: 5/5 ♥ Simple, Convenient
Price: 5/5 ♥ Retailing at $8-10 is average for a Drugstore lipstick. Sale prices makes it awesome though!

I was very lucky to find the last one at Shoppers Drug Mart for $2.99 CAD $0.39 tax = $3.38 CAD
On the EOS website, they currently only ship to destinations in the US, Canada, United Kingdom/Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico. Shipping to USA is a flat rate of $2.75USD while to all other destinations is a flat rate of $15USD.
So if you live in Canada and would like to order from the EOS website, it will be $ $3.29USD $15USD Flat Rate Shipping to Canada. ---- WOW! Expensive!!
In Canada, they were found at Shoppers Drug Mart and RW&Co;. However many locations has been sold out. RW&Co;carried the package of 3 retailing at $14.99CAD. I asked both retailers' managers whether the lip balms will be restocked. Their response is that, the lip balms were an extension to their regular line of products thus they may not be restocked. ---- Let's hope they come back soon!!
In USA, they can be found at Target, Walgreens, RiteAid, CVS, Drugstore and more.
I went to Target recently but I did not find any at the Buffalo locations.
I also found some on Amazon and eBay. Amazon don't seem to be able to ship to Canada while eBay sells at ridiculous prices.
Review:
I heard great things about this lip balm and was so excited to finally try it! EOS lip balms, unlike many lip balm companies on the market, prints exiry dates on their products. Mine is 10/2013.
I find that the packaging and the shape absolutely genius. I mean, in a business perspective, this is just the kind of gimmick to get us girls to buy this lip balm. We love cute, little, handsized balls! It's so cute! hahah! It's very unique and I haven't seen many of these on the market before. However, I have a love and hate relationship with the shape thus far. I love how convenient it is to look for it in my purse but I do like to carry wristlets and little pouches every now and then and this obviously does not fit! It is too bulky to fit into your pockets, too. Also, whenever I need to close the cap, I need to be extra careful not to jab into the 3D sphere. Generally, I still love this though! Everywhere I go, people still ask me where I get it. (I love the little bits of attention, hehe)
In terms of application, it is not easy to apply on fresh exfoliated lips, rather it was a bit stiff. I do tend to over apply lipbalms so eventually it becomes smooth. It is not smooth and glossy like vaseline but when you start to rub your lips together, it definitely sinks in (melts) and your lips are nice and smooth immediately. I liked that I didn't get a heavy waxy or sticky feeling like I did with Blistex, yet provided a healthy, moisturized lips shine. I also liked that it doesn't have an oily or greasy feeling I get when I use vaseline.
I think the staying power of the product is just right at around 6 hours. Normally, I liked to reapply very often anyway because I love this little ball too much. I also tried to test how long it will take for my lips to become cracked and dry again. The result was 2 whole, long winter days. I'm extremely impressed with this lip balm. I normally have disgusting, cracked, and bleeding winter lips. (I don't know how my boyfriend bares with me)
Lastly, this is boyfriend approved. What does that mean? My boyfriend usually hates all the lip products I use because it has a horrible after taste. The EOS lip balms are so lickable! The flavour I have is Summer Fruit and it smells like the candy: Fuzzy Peaches! When you lightly lick your lips, there's a tiny bit of sweetness to it. yums! At first I thought it's really gross that I'm licking my lip balmed-lips, but it is afterall 95% organic and 100% natural. I don't feel like I'm consuming man-made substances! :)
Ps, I was researching EOS lip balms and found out Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl also uses EOS lip balms! How cool is that!
Overall: ♥♥♥♥♥
Product: 5/5 ♥ Fits with description perfectly.
Packaging: 5/5 ♥ Super Cute
Price: 5/5 ♥ Price is Reasonable, but hard to find. eBay prices are crazy high!

What is this Product? (What it claims)
Gently removes all eye make up, including long lasting and waterproof make up. No oily residue. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Dermatologically and Ophthalmologically tested.
Size: 4.2 fl oz (125 ml)
Directions of Use
Pour a generous amount on the cotton ball or cotton pad.
Wipe gently on eye lids and eye lashes to remove eye make up.
Wipe gently on lips to remove lipsticks and lipglosses. I like to wipe and lightly exfoliate my lips. Lipsticks sometimes sink to my dead skin on my lips. So with a cotton pad, I lightly remove dead skin all in one step.
Main Ingredients
Water (aqua), Poloxamer 184, Sodium PCA, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Tetrasodium EDTA, DMDM Hydrantoin, Panthenol
*It's silicone- and paraben-free
Price:
$7.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart.
When this item goes on sale, it can get as low as $5.95. The lowest I saw was $3.95 on Amazon.com.
You can easily find this a Well.ca, Ulta, Walgreens, Walmart, Rexall, Zellers, Target, CVS and Kmart.
Review:
I bought this item on a sale so I bought two bottles (both different packaging) because I was desperate for oil-free eye make up remover and because I was definitely on a budget. Usually I remove all my make up with a cleansing oil without any prior make up removers (one-step to take off make up, then cleansing milk/cleanser). However, I noticed I was using up my cleansing oil way too quickly. Moreover, the cleansing oils I've been using are a little costly (Fancl, Bobbi Brown), so I wanted to use less cleansing oil by doing some makeup removing before I start the cleansing oil step. Lastly, another reason was because I didnt want to have lipglosses, lipsticks and eyeshadows all mixed together on my face when I clean with cleansing oil.
I've been using the Rimmel Gentle Eye Make Up Remover for 2 weeks now and I find it very gentle. So gentle that it DOES NOT remove any waterproof make up. It also stings my eyes and then my eyes begins to water up. But hey, at least it is absolutely oil-free and leaves zero oil residue like other removers on the market.
This is what I do: I like to moisten my cotton pad, give it 3 seconds on my closed eye, then gently wipe it all away. Same process for lips. It does a fabulous job at removing eyeshadows and lipsticks/lipglosses. It didn't do a good job at removing non-waterproof mascara leaving residue on my eye bag area and it certainly did a poor job with waterproof mascara. Not a trace of mascara was removed.
I do not recommend this eye make up remover. However, I am left with 1 bottle and a half bottle. So what do I use it for now? I strictly use it to remove lip products off and for removing swatches. As a blogger, I'm sure you can easily relate to this, we love swatching everything! This remover is excellent because I don't feel like I'm wasting remover when I excessively use it to clean up swatches for eyeshadows and lipsticks/lipglosses. The price makes me guilt-free!
Overall: ♥♥♥
Product: 3.5/5 ♥ I don't think it matches its claims. I was greatly disappointed that it did not remove mascaras (both waterproof and non waterproof). Also, I don't think it's good for sensitive eyes considering my eyes began to water up. It did do an amazing job removing normal eyeshadows and lip products though.
Packaging: 5/5 ♥ Simple and it has a small opening unlike L'Oreal, Lancome or Estee Lauder's big opening. I can easily control the amount of product being used without spilling.
Price: 5/5 ♥ When compared to Lancome and Estee Lauder, I think the price is very reasonable and affordable.
