Let's get the bad out of the way immediately...this is some freakin' expensive lip balm. There, now we can get to the good parts. I love this stuff in a big way. So many of Fresh's products are amazing and this is no exception. Why pay $22.50 for a lip balm? Well, there are some quality ingredients in there (blackcurrant & grapeseed oils, sugar, vitamins A, C & E) and it has sun protection. It feels soooo nice on your lips and like the moisture really sinks in instead of sitting on top, so they feel soft and conditioned. Also, it smells really good and comes in a lipstick-style tube. Total splurge, but I say it's worth it. -

This is the first and only lip stain I've ever worn, so I'm definitely not an expert. But, I think this is a good one. Its consistency is really closer to a liquid than a gel. It comes in some pretty, natural looking colors (6 at Sephora) and wears for hours. It looks nice alone or with a gloss on top. I do not, however, recommend it as a cheek stain as the name implies. So, if you'd consider this mainly because it's dual-purpose, then I'd find another brand. -

One of my favorite blushes! (I've never actually used the Cheek Stain in Flush, but I have Blushing Bride.) Anyway, it applies easily--either straight from the stick or with your fingertips--and doesn't come off. You can adjust the level of color by how many layers your apply. Just make sure you blend it out with your fingers right after you put it on your cheek because it sets quickly. It looks so sheer and natural and it's a great choice for summer since it won't budge or melt away. Another little bonus is that each shade is scented. -

Another great product from Urban Decay! This is worth every cent I paid for it. It's a nude-colored, creamy shadow primer that really works. You just put a swipe or two on your lids with the wand, smooth out with your fingertip, and let it dry for a few seconds. It is excellent at keeping shadows in place all day and doesn't let them crease. Another plus is the total cuteness of the little bottle it comes in! -

This eyeliner has its advantages...it goes on very smoothly and makes a thick smoky line. The reason I cannot recommend it (and maybe it's just me) is that it looked great for only a short time because it always ended up making a black smudge on my upper lid. Maybe I've just got oily lids and someone else wouldn't have this problem. Aside from its inability to stay put, I would've liked this product. -

This liquid highlighter/luminizer (whatever you want to call it) is a really pretty finishing touch to your makeup. It looks like a pearlized light pink on your skin. I've used it on my cheekbones, brow bones, and the inner corner of my eyes to bring some light to those areas. You can also use it on your collarbone and decollete. It's very easy to use with it's little brush applicator. Just dot in on and blend! -

(They have one shade in a matte finish if that's your preference.) It's a good price compared with other high-end bronzers and this little tin has lasted me forever! -

This is sort of a multi-purpose product. It works great under regular foundation or under pressed powder, and helps control oil all day. You can even wear it alone without any makeup at all. It is completely weightless; you cannot feel it on your face as you put it on. It helps minimize the look of large pores, fills in fine lines a little, and really gives some staying power to your foundation or powder. Also, it actually contains several antioxidants that are good for your skin. This is definitely pricey, but it's effective and lasts a very long time. If you don't want to spend that much, Sephora sells a "to go" version for $15.50. -

This does give your lips a noticeable boost, and best of all, it doesn't sting in the slightest. I've tried other plumpers like Too Faced Lip Injection which did their job but reallllly irritated my lips. The Lip Fusion looks good by itself, just clear and glossy. It also works really well under lip gloss. It has kind of a minty smell that I like too. The price is definitely the low point here. It costs $36 US and although I like the way it works, I won't be buying again. -

So even if it's a hot day, you'll stay smelling nice. I've used the Powder scent (which pretty much smells like baby powder) and right now I'm using Cool Essentials w/cucumber and green tea (fresh, clean smell). Love the Dove... -
