First of all, thanks to ChickAdvisor for sending me this product.
I’ve been using the panty liner for the past few days and think they’re okay, but not the best on the market. Personally, I don’t like liners that aren’t individually wrapped. If you’re the type of women who is traveling often it’s not always easy to carry the entire box around with you. Plus, it’s nice to put one in your handbag and this wouldn’t work for this liner. The liner wasn’t the easiest to pull off my panties especially if you used it in the thong shape (too much glue/sticker).
It was super thin and breathable. I found that it easily fit in a variety of types of panties so that was nice instead of having to buy a variety of liners.
Overall, good product but I’d like it better if they had each liner individually wrapped.

My finacee and I visited Auberge du Pommier for their Summerlicious promotion on a Saturday night. We heard numerous good reviews about the restaurant; therefore, had very high hopes.
Prior to our dinner, I was awaiting gift certificates in the mail for the restaurant that I got through a third party vendor at work. They didn’t arrive after a couple of weeks so I had to call to cancel our reservation. When calling the host asked me why I was cancelling. I told him my snail mail problem and the host instantly said to keep the reservation and just drop off the gift cards once I got them in the mail. I was completely surprised they would credit my bill $100 without having the gift certificates on me – but they did without any question! I’ve never heard of a restaurant that was so accommodating.
The food definitely lived up to the reputation. It was incredibly good and had so many flavors. Each portion was the perfect size – not too big or too small. They explained each dish when giving it to us and were very down to earth for a high-end restaurant. One of the items I loved was the bread. It was warm and amazing – probably the best I’ve ever had before.
Overall, I’d recommend Auberge du Pommier in a heartbeat for anyone who loves French food. I’d say it’s easily one of the best restaurants in Toronto.

The smell of Noxzema brings me straight back to my high school days. I’ve always liked the smell, but this time around it seemed more chemically than I remember. The scent is really strong and it’s very noticeable. I have to admit; I started using it only at night because the smell would linger too long during the workday. As a late twenties female working in a office I didn’t want to give off a face wash smell to my coworkers.
I’ve never been a fan of face washes (creams, lip balm etc.) that comes in a jar. I like a pump because it seems cleaner. When washing my face I dislike putting my hand into a jar because there is always water left in the jar regardless of how hard I to try not to. So I end up always shaking it out afterward.
The face wash itself was pretty good. It left that clean tingle feeling and my skin looking nice. My face felt more moisturized than other similar products. The price point is pretty good – can’t complain for $10. Although, if I left the face wash for 1 minute it would leave my face rather red. It could be me, but normally I don’t have that problem.
Overall, good to try but I don’t see myself making the switch from my other brands.

I’ve had 2 of these tooth brushes and really like them. At first it’s a different feeling in your mouth if you’ve never used a brush with a tongue cleaner (because it’s lightly rubbing up against your cheek). It was really effective of cleaning all around my teeth and it felt especially clean afterwards. Even my dentist commented on how healthy my gum line was looking! The brush is a little expensive, but if you watch they often go on sale for $2 off. -

Thanks Chick Advisor and Breyers for sending me the ice cream coupons! I had an ice cream party to taste some of the new flavours. I LOVED the Double Churn Chocolate Cheesecake ice cream from Breyers. It’s a good combination between chocolate and vanilla. You could really taste the cheesecake flavour too. I enjoyed that it wasn’t an overly strong flavour so you could easily have it on a dessert plate with something else. Similar to the other double churn flavours this one was also creamy and I could tell it was made with high-end ingredients. I’d recommend this to someone who liked more vanilla based ice creams over chocolate (which is me!).
P.S. Some people have been commenting about the price - I've noticed it on sale at several stores in the past week for $3.99 so I find that to be a great bargain.

Everyone was a big fan of the Double Churn Dark Chocolate Velvet ice cream. I’m not nuts about chocolate, but this one made me change my mind (and also changed the mind of another non-chocolate lover in the group). It actually tasted like you were eating a real dark piece of chocolate – not that fake chocolate taste. One person thought it tasted like something you’d buy at a high-end ice cream parlor and not a grocery store. The ingredients were high quality (rich flavours) and had almost a fudge type taste to it as well. Yes, I’d definitely recommend this ice cream to my friends! -

First of all I could tell it was good quality ice cream because it didn’t melt after sitting on the kitchen counter for 5 minutes – sounds silly, but if you’ve had cheap ice cream you’ll know what I’m talking about. There were little pieces of the gram crust in the ice cream….mmmmm!!! It had an amazing flavour and not too sweet either. I did find it extra creamy and everyone said they wanted to go buy it. I’d highly recommend it!! -

I’ve been to Ritual twice and have mixed feelings. The first time I had a manicure and thought that it was great. The lady was really friendly and seemed very skilled. I liked that she was chatty, but didn’t come off gossipy. I think the studio is pretty too – all white with hot pink touches. In parts it looks a little worn, but not that bad.
This past visit I had a manicure and pedicure that was actually pretty bad. The lady was pleasant, but really aggressive and rough. My feet actually came out more rough and at times it even hurt during the pedicure. I’ve been putting cream on my feet twice a day since so they aren’t so dry looking. I’m not a pro when it comes to pedicures, but thought it was different that she didn’t want my feet to soak, but just put oil on them and started to file them. Ouch! The manicure was okay, but this lady seemed to have a lot of opinions – told me I should do a mini manicure before I come into the spa to remove my cuticles. Call me crazy, but I thought that was her job!
I don’t see myself going back because of the bad service recently. They are a well-known spa now so I think their service level as slipped.

AMAZING! I received this as a gift and was very impressed with the quality. It goes on like a light cream, but has a lot of impact. I really like that it holds its moisture all day (even between hand washing), but doesn’t feel oily. My hands were noticeably softer and even my nails seemed stronger. It’s a little pricey for hand cream, but ideal if you have very dry hands or want a high impact cream for winter weather. -

This is by far the best body lotion on the market. I’ve used several different high-end brands, but always come back to Aveeno. It makes my skin feel smooth and hydrated all day long. I’ve had several compliments on how my skin looks smooth when I’m wearing it for consecutive days.
Some other reviewers commented how they didn’t like the smell, but I’d have to say the opposite. It’s even good for non-girly girls or men because it doesn’t have an over powering scent.
My only compliant would be the pump. I’ve had more than one bottle with pumps that don’t work so I end up having the pour it out into a jar.
