From the high quality polishes to the deluxe service (a pedicure includes a lotion wrap, scrub, massage...) to the freshly santitized tools and professional staff, this is the best bang for your buck, bar none, in Toronto. The smoothies and romantic comedies playing give it that extra something special. Great for a mother/daughter day, catching up with a girlfriend or just pampering yourself solo. Highly recommend! Never read a bad review on the place either. -

I have been a member for a year and am a big fan of Goodlife! I am all over the province visiting friends and family and there is always a club that is convenient to go to - and growing! It is very beginner friendly with instructions on the circuit machines and personal trainers to advise you how to use them. Even if you can't afford the extras like personal training, they help you out for free with the orientations, a fitness assessment, and visual fitness plan with updates - if you tell them you can't afford personal training, they do listen! They have a good variety of classes with instructors who ask at the start of every class if anyone is new and gives them help throughout the class and are available after class for questions. They also watch each member and will advise when they need to fix their form. I love the Cardio Theatres as well, just plug in your headphones to your favourite show and you're set for the hour!
Some areas they could improve on are keeping change rooms stocked and clean during weekends, longer hours on weekends, more classes on weekends (the latest ones are at 10:30 and not many are open past 6, even the "24 hour" ones are just Sunday-Thursday 24 hours). The classes are choreographed and after a while they get stale but the staff are always willing to give you advice on how to mix up your workouts to get results. The only issue I have had with an employee is one girl that was always otherwise occupied during the time I had an appointment, but that's one person out of many; everyone else is always helpful and courteous, the receptionists say hello and wish you a good work out which is really nice.
