Decided to make some chicken souvlaki for lunch today and didn't have enough potatoes on hand. I did have some McCain Extra Crispy Straight Cut Fries on hand. I made the recipe as called for minus the red pepper dip. I did top them with olives, red onion, red and green peppers along with the feta and broiled them. This recipe is versatile and easy to customize.These were fantastic and tasted delicious. Will most definitely make variations of this in the future. -

For a quick appy I usually bake them and then top them with nacho toppings (cheese, bell peppers, jalapeños, onions, olives) serve with a spicy chipotle sauce, fresh green onions and sour cream...SOOOO GOOD! -

I was lucky enough to receive the Maybelline New York Dream Velvet Foundation courtesy of Chick Advisor. Unfortunately I picked out a shade that is slightly darker for my skintone but wow this foundation is amazing! It goes on smooth and blends out like a dream without any effort! Definitely going to be using this in the summer time when I'm more tanned. Even though I applied a thin layer of the product it was medium coverage but can be built up for a fuller coverage. You do however need to set this foundation with a powder in order for it to last all day so keep that in mind. -

I was lucky enough to receive the Maybelline New York Dream Blender courtesy of Chick Advisor. Now I always use a blender to apply my foundation. Unfortunately this blender was extremely awkward to use. I think it would work better if it wasn't attached to the handle thing provided and was larger in size. It does a decent job of blending out the foundation but I have other blenders that are much easier to use. I seem to like it better for blending out my concealer than for overall face use. It's handy to have but not something that I would purchase in the near future. -

I was fortunate enough to join the #TryShellac campaign courtesy of Chick Advisor, which included a free manicure using CND Shellac products. My application was quick which is a bonus for those of us on a time crunch. The Shellac went on really thin which I liked because I can’t stand thick gloopy fake looking manicures. After two weeks my nails still look great and there is no chipping whatsoever. My only minor complaint would be that the products do not do anything to strengthen my nails as I find other gel-like products I’ve tried do. I’m hoping CND will take that into consideration and develop a product that does. I would give CND Shellac another go and try other colors and products in the line as well as further recommend them to friends and family. -

I was fortunate enough to receive a free manicure at Salon Sixty Six courtesy of the #TryShellac campaign offered through Chick Advisor. The salon is nice and spacious, well organized but it gets better, the customer service is beyond great! My nail technician, Sarah, was very friendly, personable, and professional throughout the appointment. She thoroughly explains each step in the process and is far more informative than any other nail technician I’ve ever visited, and I have visited many! Her work ethics and skill level are above par. I will definitely be going back and seeing her the next time I need a manicure and also to check out other services provided by the salon. ☺ -

I received the Vichy Idelia Life Serum Lifeproof Skin Idealizer courtesy of Chick Advisor Review Club. I'll start off with the cons...I'm not a fan of the overpowering rose smell of this product. If you are sensitive to smells then this probably isn't the product for you. Also it is quite expensive however a little does go a long way. I like that this product comes with a pump that dispenses just the right amount of product for your face. I used this product for several weeks in conjunction with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep Repair Night Gel-Balm. These two work wonders together! My skin is softer, smoother and I've noticed a reduction in breakouts and in overall redness on my face. Will definitely purchase this when I run out of the set that was sent to me. -

I received the Makeup Forever Lipstick in Rouge Artist Natural last year courtesy of the Sephora Birthday Gift Program. I have to say it was the first Makeup Forever Lipstick that I have ever tried and I ended up loving it. It is a great shade of red that looks great on all skin tones. I must say that I have a slight obsession with MAC Paint Pots. They are so great to use as a base for any eyeshadow look. Its noteworthy to mention that I still use a primer when using these. That being said, you only need a thin layer of this product and it works wonders, definitely makes eyeshadows pop. I wish these weren't so expensive but they are well worth the price. Painterly, Soft Ochre and Indian Wood are definitely must haves in my opinion. A good tip is to store these lid side down as I've noticed that they don't dry out as quickly. -
