I agree with the other reviewer, I really like this phone. I was reluctant to get a blackberry because I am one of those "a phone should just be a phone people". I also have a tendancy to drop things so did not think investing in an expensive blackberry was the way to go. Anyway, after my last phone bit the bullet I got a red Blackberry 8330 Curve for free from the phone company. I am very happy with this smartphone and can now see why they are so addictive!
At first I found the small qwerty keyboard hard to type on at first as I was used to texting the old way but after a coupld of days I got used to it. I find the background noise on this phone to be minimal. Sometimes if there is a lag in talking in the conversation, I will feel like there is no one on the other end because there is not air white noise like there was on my other phone.
Like the other reviewer, I got the red color as well because I thought it was stylish. I am still getting used to the phone but so far so good, I am very pleased with this smart phone.

I am in LOVE with this sushi place. I was introduced to it by a girlfriend who lives in the area. Yanaki Japanese Restaurant is located at 1449 Marine Drive in West Vancouver. They can be reached at (604) 926-8119. I ordered a red dragon roll (which they customized to a green dragon for me, avocado on top instead of salmon) and three pieces of salmon nigri for a grand total of $14. Yanaki Japanese Restaurant does not have tempura or chicken teriyaki dishes but it does sushi and rolls so phenomenally that it will keep you coming back for more! If ever you are in the West Vancouver area, check this place out, you will not be disappointed! -

I bought this body wash because I was looking for a new scented body wash that I felt was not too perfumey but smelled nice and subtle. I really like the smell of St. Ives Soy Milk and Lotus Blossom Moisturizing Body Was. I find that its moisturizing qualities are mediocre...better than some body washes but not as moisturizing as others. I did find that it is not drying and did not feel like it left a film on my skin like other washes do. I would buy this product again, mainly because I like the scent and because it works. -

I would never purchase this product because of the wastefulness of it. I am not big on alot of synthetic cleaners to begin with but when I walked by this product at the end display in the grocery store I shook my head and moved on. I like the look of the container and everything but I found that in the end it is all unnecessary and creates more waste than is needed. -

I forgot what a bad experience I had with Jacob Lingerie bras until I read the other reviewers post. I bought a couple bras from Jacob Lingerie a few years ago and it was the same thing, after a few months of washing, it looks like I was sporting a 5 year old bra! In my case the underwire did rip through near the armpit on one side. Needless to say although they are cute and fun in colors sometime, I have never bought another Jacob Lingerie bra since. I stick to La Senza. -

I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Gallery Cafe at the Vancouver Art Gallery a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. The food selection was diverse and everything that I tasted was heavenly! I did not expect the food to be great but it was absolutely delicious! I love the patio outside on a sunny day where you can sit, eat and people watch. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Check it out! -

I had the pleasure of eating at Ebi Ten in Vancouver a few weeks ago and it was a great experience. I intend on going back for more repeatedly. Ebi Ten is supposed to be Japanese fast food but when you are like me and associate fast food with being greasy and not good for you, Ebi Ten is hardly what I call fast food at all. I think it is called Japanese fast food because there are set combos instead of you picking and choosing which rolls or sushi you want etc. If you are starving and just want some great Japanese food without the fuss of having to piece together a meal, this is the place for you! Located near Vancouver Public Library main location in Robson, Ebi-Ten offers dishes most people associate with Japanese cuisine, like maki/rolls etc. Next time you are in this area, check this place out, you will NOT be disappointed! -

Karv clothing line was created in 2000 in Montreal by designer Frederic Tisseur. The fashion brand is for both women (Karv) and men (BlacKarv). I love the detail in each piece. The t-shirt that I bought has embroidered hummingbirds on it with such detail along with silk screen prints on the shirt. Their clothing retails for around $50 a piece (such as the tshirt above) to pieces on sale such as the sweater above which was regularly $80 but was on sale for $19! I have received numerous compliments on the Karv pieces that i have purchased and there is the added benefit that it is from a Canadian designer! Karv is carried by stores such as Latitude in Vancouver, Zoam in Toronto, Utopia in Thornhill etc. There is a full listing of stores that carry Karv clothing on their website. -

I recently discovered Latitude in Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver. This store carries edgy clothing lines such as: Karv, Sinful, Guess, Deisel, DKNY etc. Their prices can be a little high and you can pay up to $100 for a tshirt but if you shop when things are on sale, it is awesome! I picked up a sweater regularly priced at $80 on sale for $19. When this store says they are having a sale they really mean it. Things are marked at 50-75% off. I have since introduced a few friends to Latitude and we will continue going back and buying pieces that we fall in love with. This is a unisex store that also carries men's clothing such as tops, tshirts, hoodies and jeans. Latitude is located at Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver and in Metrotown mall in Burnaby! Check them out! -

I went to Cliffhanger Climbing Gym in Vancouver with a small group of girls that wanted to try out rockclimbing indoors before tackling an actual mountainside... Cliffhanger Climbing Gym in Vancouver is located at 670 Industrial Ave and can be reached at (604) 874-2400. There is over 15000 square feet of wonderful climbing terrain, 53 top ropes, lead climbing and crack climbing. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. For $23 we were trained, supplied with shoes and equipment and ready to go for 2 hours of climbing with an instructor on the ground guiding us. I highly recommend this place. Rockclimbing is such a good workout! If you live in the Vancouver area, check out Cliffhanger Climbing Gym! -
