I recently went to a friend's red themed birthday party at Bar None on a Saturday and it was A LOT of fun. The music was great and kept you dancing all night long. The clientele was very diverse and a lot of fun. My only complaint is that we were on a guest and the guest list line was 3 times the length of the normal line. If you were in the short normal line you did not get in period but if you were in the guest list line it took A LONG time as they were trying to make it look like the IT spot from the road by creating a long line. We were 10th in line and it took close to half an hour to get in (lineups= the prime reason I don't go out anymore). Anyway, once we got inside it was a good time. Drinks were a bit pricey but the good time made up for it! -

I love the vibe of Cactus Club Vancouver. It is a restaurant that doubles as a lounge in the evenings. The bar section (in the second photo) is great for meeting up with collegues after work for a drink and to chat, the rest of the restaurant is great for getting together with friends for a bite. The atmosphere is a step up from casual if you go at night and eat indoors. If you go during the day though, it has a business casual feel to it. They play upbeat music in the evenings inside which can be a bit loud if you are trying to have an intimate conversation or energizing when hanging out, depends on how you look at it. I was recently introduced to this place and I will be going back time and time again. -

This is one of my favourite cereals. Special K Red Berries is good for you and the the dried strawberries make it sweet enough to be addictive and have me coming back for more! I ablsolutely LOVE this cereal!

A friend introduced me to this cafe in Vancouver and I was very very impressed. Subeez Cafe offers an extensive menu which is moderately priced with a great atmosphere. There is a big patio outside but for rainy days the inside is HUGE. They have vaulted ceilings to the point where I thought it would be the appropriate venue for a nightclub! This place has very funky artwork pieces scatted throughout the restaurant/cafe which means you will always have something to look at or talk about if your present company is boring or the conversation is dwindling. This venue also has an extensive bar if you are in the mood to have a drink. The atmosphere of this place is much more like a lounge at night as opposed to a cafe except the music is a lot quieter than you would have in a lounge. I ended up purchasing a black asymmetrical cardigan that can be wrapped, belted or left hanging open. I will review the sweater later on! I find Bedo products to be high quality and unique. The service at the Burnaby location was impeccable and I would highly recommend visiting this location. It is located on the upper level in Metrotown mall. Check it out! -

Good Nails is locared at 2678 Yonge St (across the street from Sporting Life on Yonge near Yonge and Blythwood. Their number is (416) 488-0007. Good nails creates a box for you which contains your file in it etc for the next time you return so it is enviromentally friendly by not discarding files constantly and sanitary in that only you get your file etc. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to get a manicure and pedicure, give this place a try. -

I also tried this product because a friend of mine uses it and recommended it to me. Schwarzkopf Bonacure After Sun Treatment worked very well to noticeably rehydrate my hair. This treatment is supposed to be left in the hair for 5-10 minutes or left in for very damaged hair. I left the product in for about 10 minutes and my hair felt absolutely amazing afterward. I would definitely recommend this product. -
