I was weary about trying a new car freshener because I have one of thoses noses that smells scents from a mile away and I thought it may be too strong but I tried the Febreze CAR vent clip freshener in Hawaiin Aloha and I am in LOVE with it. I found the scent not to overpowering (when it is on the lowest setting) and it does last a long time. I bought this a couple weeks ago and my car still has a pleasant scent it in . I really like this product. -

I recently started using this product as a preventative measure and to moisturize my skin. A friend recommended it to me so I thought I would give it a try. I found the price tag a bit steep for quantity of product but given it's effectiveness I still think it is worth it. I also ended up finding the 125ml size for 15.99 at Winners so it can be found for less that it costs at Shoppers Drug Mart. I highly recommend this product. -

I was lucky to be chosen to review Quaker Harvest Crunch Quinoa Bars with the Chickadvisor Product Review club. At first I was skeptical that I would like this product as there are a lot of granola bars out there that I do not like the taste of because they taste synthetic or like nothing at all. I was happily wrong and Quaker Harvest Crunch Quinoa Bars were TASTY and filled with nutrients at the same time. The chocolate tastes like chocolate and I cannot even tell that there is quinoa in this product in terms of taste. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I think the price is on point with other granola bars on the market and it tastes better than a lot of them. -

I thought I would love this product, who doesn't love a scent boost in a load of laundry... but for me, this was a fail. I hated the smell of this and it made me feel sick. I am glad that I only ran it through the wash that had the hubby's clothes in it because I would have gagged if my clothes smelled like that. In the end I had to rewash the load with his stuff as well because I just could not stand the smell. -

I received these Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths free to test as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I had not tried cleansing clothes in the past so for me this was a first. I like the feel of these cloths along with the amount of dampness and sturdiness of this product. I also appreciate that it is lightly scented as I am not a big fan of things that smell too fragrant. By far the best feature of this product is that it is flushable and that I don't have to worry about clogging toilets etc. I will likely continue to use this product as I really like it. -

I discovered Black Daffodil while wandering with a girlfriend in the Junction on the weekend. This is a neat boutique with clothing inspired from the 40s. It is located at 3097 Dundas St West and can be found online at www.blackdaffodil.ca Black Daffodil's designs are modern with a 1940s glamour vintage appeal. A lot of their items are pin-up chic. I love this boutique and will definitely be returning to it in the near future. -

I was skeptical when a friend asked me to try Arbonne Skin Intensive Renewal Serum but I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I LOVE this product. It works well to reduce pores and fine lines all while making my skin feel firmer. My boyfriend literally asked me what I did to my face and said that it looked like I spent the day at the spa. I love this product and recommend it to anyone. The price point can seem a bit steep but the product does last a long time as you don't need a lot of it. I highly recommend this product. -

I recently decided to purchase and try out the Venus Olay Razor by Gillette. I am in love with this razor. It has 5 blades and two moisture bars and the classic Venus pivoting head and ergonomic handle. The moisture bars eliminate the need for shaving cream, as you just have to wet the razor and begin. The Olay moisture bars have a light scent and leave your legs feeling smooth and soft. This product is a definite improvement to the Gillette Spa Breeze razor as the moisture bars do not get goopy and the moisture bars on this razor are flusher with the razor blades and therefore you can still get a close shave. The 5 blades also serve to give you a closer shave. I highly recommend this product, well done Gillette and Olay! :) -
