If you are like me, you have to fight your kids to brush their teeth. We have tried so many different things, including paying them to do it! When I got a huge box from Danielle (from the PR company that works with Arm & Hammer), the fighting stopped!
The initial reactions were:
Tank (2) – “My toof-rush!? Myyy Spy-er-maan!? I NEED rush my teef, momma!”
Zack (7) – “Cool! I saw that on TV, when you put it in a glass of water, the water moves! Which one is mine?” You must realize that only things that are seen on TV can be deemed “Cool” by my middle child. :-)
Tripp (9) – “Huh… can I go now?”
Zack & Tank brushed their teeth as soon as I could get their ’s open. Tripp (though too cool to be excited about a toothbrush) has brushed his every time without having to be told twice. That tell me that he likes his toothbrush even though he won’t admit it. :-) Too bad that I didn’t realize that all it would take to get them to do it without complaint would be to get them a cool electric toothbrush!
When you go to you local CVS, Wal-Mart, Target, etc to purchase these miracle workers for yourself, be sure to look for Crest anytime before September 1st. After that, they will be Arm & Hammer.
Did I mention that I got one, too? I got an awesome read, Sonic SpinBrush (I didn’t tell Zack, but I think this is actually the one that when put in a glass of water made waves ;-) Don’t tell him, he will be disappointed!)
Now, there are 5 of us and if you were keeping count, you will see we received 4. :-D Know what that means? When I head to the store on my next trip into town, I have to purchase one for my darling hubby. At $8.99 (at my local CVS), it is a pretty good investment. Since you only have to replace the head instead of the whole brush, it pretty much pays for itself very quickly. Let’s don’t forget the fact that my kids love it so their teeth are more healthy!
I know this review is getting pretty wordy, but I got so much in my big box, I don’t want to do anyone a disservice by not mentioning it all. :-) My exact words when Danielle asked if I wanted to review their Arm & Hammer Toothpastes and Whitening Booster were:
As for toothpaste, I use XX name hidden for obvious reasons XX but am not opposed to trying another brand.
LOL! Obviously, I have used the same brand of toothpaste for as long as I can remember. It is just one of those things I have never thought much about. I walk in, grab it, and walk out. I mean, I have always thought that toothpaste is toothpaste. Well, I guess I have been proven wrong. That seems to be happening quite often lately, actually!
I love the taste of the toothpaste and the fact that even though it is mint, it isn’t hot! Plus, as a mom of 3 boys, I really know the value of Baking Soda as a cleaning agent! You do not taste it, yet it really works! Add a little whitening booster to the top of your toothpaste and say good bye to coffee stains in no time! In fact, I could tell a different right away!
I can’t end this review without mention my two gripes:
1. If you don’t put the toothbrush in your mouth before turning it on, you get toothpaste EVERYWHERE! :-)
2. It doesn’t fit in my cute little toothbrush holder. I am just putting it on the counter for now, but I am going to have to come up with something better… maybe a wall mount or something. :-)
Don’t forget to check the Arm & Hammer promotions page to get coupons to use on your next purchase.
You can purchase them at tons of stores across the world and online at CVS.com.
