I was very lucky to get the opportunity to test Aveeno's Active Naturals Anti-Fatigue Eye Roller. out, Thank you ChickAdvisor =D =D
Aveeno's Anti-Fatigue eye roller reduces the look of puffiness and dark circles.
First I will say I have regular bags under my eyes some days, nothing crazy but noticeable so I was very pleased to be able to test this out. This is the first roller ball kind of application I have tried.
The packaging is very cute and the design is great. At first when I opened the lid I wondered why the ball on the end was metal but of course it makes sense, it stays cool to help with the de-puffing!
The scent is a nice floral scent, not too strong and it doesn't linger for those of you that do not like strong scents.
Now for the outcome of this, I applied this under my eyes in the am when my bags are the most puffy. I do not suffer from the dark circles so I can't tell you if it does help with that =/ Once applied to under eyes it was a nice cooling sensation and the eye area felt slightly more firm as if the puffiness was going down.
Overall I do think this slightly helped but did not completely decrease the puffiness under my eyes. It definitely is better then using nothing but I do not find this a complete solution.
I would recommend this to try if you do suffer from large amounts of puffiness but it will not completely erase that.
The price is steep but I do think this will last quite a while since it is just a small layer being used as well the product is designed to allow just enough to come out at a time, unlike a squeeze tube or something.

"Redefine luxury with our lightweight feeling silk foundation. Enriched with hints of natural jojoba, rosehip & seal buckthorn extracts"
The packaging is alright, the same as all the other Nature Luxe products. I like the squeeze tube, a pump would be ideal of course but the price would go up.
I also like the slim packing, easier to store.
Of course glass container types always look nicer but again the price goes up and this can just fit easily in my makeup drawer.I purchased this in 310-Flax. Second lightest shade =( . They do have a fair amount of shades to offer compared to some of the other foundations I have seen.
You can really smell the cucumber scent and I actually really like it. Not over powering and once applied you don't notice the smell.
I find this a little bit more then a light foundation, more towards medium but you really don't notice you have it on. You don't need a ton, it blends so nicely! I don't notice a huge difference in lasting power compared to other drug store foundations I have tried, honestly I find that nothing stays on my face all day even with primer. I would say the lasting power is alright, nothing amazing, nothing terrible.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good drug store foundation, I think this does even out skin tones nicely and it can't be any worse then most of the crap on the shelves these days.

Cover Girl's Nature Luxe Mascara Made with a touch of Bee's Wax, with this light weight formula this is able to give your lashes easier lift then most mascara's.
Sounds interesting doesn't it?
"Discover luxurious volume that feels light as air. We took out a select few heavy synthetics and put in a light touch of beeswax - for luxurious lashes that are 20% lighter*. 2X more volume!"
From the packaging, it just looks like another Nature Luxe product.. It's nice but nothing too special.
This is quite new to Canada, with that comes the price of $10.99. I paid $11 for mascara! Wow what was I thinking? I never ever pay that much but I was very interested to see what this formula might be like.
Overall I wouldn't purchase this mascara again. Here are a couple reasons why:
*The brush is so sharp, if you think the L'oreal Million Lashes is a pointy brush, then I wouldn't advise you to use this. I don't find that one to poke me but this one sure did. Bristles are very sharp on the end
*Did not give my lashes ANY volume what so ever.
*Price was too expensive for what the outcome was.
Now for the good parts
*Not clumpy
umm that's all I got =/
This isn't terrible, I have tried way worse before but I think my expectations were a little bit high since it sounded like a different kind of mascara that might do wonders for my lashes.I haven't actually found a Cover Girl mascara that I like, maybe they just don't work with my type of lashes?
I say wait for a sale if you are really interested in trying this.
Would I repurchase? Nope
Would I recommend? No

I purchased this at Shoppers Drug Mart for $8.99 regular $12.99 (It might be more expensive at Shoppers since their pricing sucks unless it is a sale)
This color is in 36 Midnight Black
*10 minute Color
*2 Week Color Fresh Revitalizer
*Ammonia Free
*Covers greys
*Lasts 28 Washes
The ammonia free was one of my favorite things about this, I absolutely hate the smell of hair dye. As well I always find the ammonia more damaging and if you dye your hair once a month it is probably best to use ammonia free anyways.
So it has the same kinda stuff as every box dye, except the color fresh and an extra pair of gloves when you apply it.
The color fresh comes in a packet that seems like shampoo, you just apply it to your hair wearing the gloves, let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse out.( I haven't tried that yet but I will update this when I do)
This was a very nice thick cream dye, I didn't have any problems with dripping like I did with my last dye I tried. The smell was hardly there! As well the color turned out so dark I was very happy with it.
I really enjoyed the 10 minute wait time rather then the usual 45, I just cleaned up my mess and it was ready to rinse out.
I did just dye my hair this weekend so I will have to see how the fading goes. The last color I used was a purpley color that faded so terrible it made my roots look red. It was not pretty. This covered it up so nicely!
I also didn't get the feeling of straw hair once I was finished. The conditioner was decent, I did use some but I also used my K-Pak Joico with it to make sure I was getting all the moisture I could.
I would for sure recommend this product as well as repurchase it.

I love Dry shampoo's....Well ones that actually work. Batiste is the kind that actually works! I have been searching everywhere to find the kind for black hair. I finally found it at Winners! There was 3 cans left and I snagged 2 of them. They were $5.99 each, can't go wrong at that price!
This basically works the same way as the regular ones but have some coloring in it so it should blend better for darker hair then the regular kind.
If you are a dry shampoo lover then you will know what I am talking about with the whole gray colored looking hair.
When I first got home I spray a little bit in the cap to see how dark the product really is and I was pleasantly surprised it was pretty black...
The next day I decided to give it a try and I was kind of disappointed that it doesn't spray fully black! I had this image that it would just spray a black spray and I would comb it out a bit and be good to go. But unfortunately it does have SOME gray. =/
But it can be brushed out fairly easy so you don't have old looking hair ;)
I also use a shine spray once I am finished using any dry shampoo just in case there is some left over color showing in my dark hair.
Over all I would for sure recommend this product as well I will repurchase it. The quality is better than even the expensive salon brands as well their selection is so large that there is something for everyone.

To prime lashes or not to prime? That is a question I have tried and tested over the years and I always end up having a love hate relationship with most lash primers.
I have to be honest I haven't actually used one in over a year and when I ordered my Naked Palette from Sephora.com I got it as a free sample and I was hesitant at first but now my opinion has changed.DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum & Primer
"What it is:
Dior's first lash primer that combs, curls, and coats each lash to create a smooth, even mascara base, while acting as a nourishing serum treatment that promotes long-term lash growth, strength, and vitality.
What it does:
The newest addition to the family of legendary Diorshow Mascaras, DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum & Primer instantly primes, plumps, and lengthens lashes with an ultra-light and quick-drying formula. The first "active serum" mascara primer also contains a unique cell-conditioning complex made up of hydrolyzed soy proteins that promote long-term lash growth, strength, and vitality."
That was a way better description then I could have thought of myself so I borrowed it from Sephora.com
I received the 4ml tube and I am sad to say I am running quite low =(
*This formula does not make lashes feel hard or clumpy like I have found with other primers.
*The no clump brush glides on easy for an even coverage.
This does dry fairly quick so I only prime one eye at a time then follow with mascara before it dries. I don't know if it is best to let it dry or not but I feel it looks better with mascara right after the primer.
I have been trying to take a before and after picture all week but I am not photogenic and I have not been able to come up with a good close up of my lashes.. hopefully I will get one soon because I think the results are great.
I honestly think this product does pretty much what it says and if I was rich I would continuously purchase this.... but I am not. So I will not be buying the $28.00 regular size of this product =/ I just cannot justify the $$ on that but it is really a good product!! It probably would last a decent amount of time but I am not sure if it follows the mascara rule and throwing it out after a few months.

I spotted this when I was at Shoppers Drug Mart Earlier this week and I have been using it since the night I bought it. This is my first over night hair repair I have ever tried and I am happy with the results! I threw out my receipt but this was just under $10. This bottle is 150 g /5oz.
*Deeply Nourishes For visibly healthier hair
*Transforms Damaged frizzy and over processed hair
*Style Fusion Technology
*Has a nice pump for easy despence
*Will not stain your pillow case
*Decently priced
*Absorbs Quickly
There isn't a lot to this bottle but it is pretty thick so I think it should last a while.
So you just apply this to your dry hair before bed and wash your hair in the am. I usually actually apply a deep conditioner to my hair before I go to bed like once a week, then braid it and wash it out in the morning. This was soo much better then using a deep conditioner, it absorbed so quickly and felt like it was actually going into my hair to help repair it. The smell isn't amazing but it's alright.
I noticed the first time I used this how much softer and shinier my hair was the next day. I will for sure be repurchasing this and I would recommend this.

This is my second foam hair dye I have tried and I think this is such a good product for anyone who wants a quick easy coloring. L'oreal sublime mousse is usually under $10.00 at most drug stores, I had a $4 off coupon from WebSaver.ca- click here to get coupon ( if you are in Canada) and I used my coupon while this was on sale at Walmart for around $8 so I got it for like $4, can't go wrong with that price!
The color selection isn't amazing, its fairly basic but I assume they will come out with more colors eventually. I got the color 20- PURE BLACK.
Total time is under 40 minutes. I applied this foam to my hair in under 5 minutes. People with thicker longer hair I would guess it would take around 10. It is SO QUICK. 30 minute developing time isn't too bad either.
The consistency of this dye foam isn't very thick, but it isn't watery if that makes any sense. It doesn't drip once it is applied but if I had tilted my hand it would have fell right off.
When I am dying my hair I always make sure to put a layer of Vaseline around my hair line and on my ears so I don't have black color all over. As well wear an old shirt in case you spill anything.
This was seriously so easy to use, squeeze dye into hand and put onto hair. Rub into roots then ends and you are done. No sectioning (maybe if you have really thick hair) no combing, just quick and easy.
Pros Of L'OREAL SUBLIME MOUSSE:
*Easy to use
*Full coverage
*Natural looking
*The smell isn't crazy horrible like the nice n easy foam dye
*Good price
Cons Of L'OREAL SUBLIME MOUSSE:
*Lasting power isn't as wonderful as some other dye's i've used
*Color selection isn't huge
*Conditioner isn't very moisturizing
I would recommend this product as well as repurchase it.

I have been using this for probably around 10 showers now and it still is really soapy and still has the smell. It says it lasts around 20 showers so that's pretty good.
This was kind of Mr Clean Magic Eraser Like ;) it was a little hard to get used to at first since I always use a body puff ball thing, but once it was fully soaked it was pretty soft !
This would be absolutely perfect for travel or anyone who has little space, kids or someone who doesn't clutter in their shower with the body wash bottles and puff ball or cloths.

This formula is slightly different as it is meant to "flare" your lashes out... My lashes are the straightest they could ever be so it didn't overly do much but it does work a tiny bit. The brush is a scoop brush like the original falsies but just slightly redesigned. This works so great for my bottom lashes! I really like this stuff and it is in my top two favorite mascara's!
I would for sure repurchase and recommend!!
