The texture was great, it absorbed quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the product is slightly tinted, but that is likely only useful for pale skin.

Chick Advisor sent me a stick of Dove 0% Aluminum Deodorant in the Cucumber & Green Tea scent for review. I've used it for a few (very hot and humid) days, and have to say that it works just as well as other commercial deodorants, but since I am a particularly stinky person it doesn't work well enough for me, and I'll be sticking to my natural brand. However, this does not mean that the Dove wouldn't be perfectly effective for someone else. The scent is pretty strong, but pleasant (I can smell the cucumber, but can't make out the green tea), and the texture feels like a gel rather than a hard deodorant stick (even though it is more of a stick than a gel). So go try it! Quite possibly it will be exactly what you were looking for, and hey - anything that gets women to stop putting aluminum on our armpits is a major winner in my book. -

As a regular scrub and cleanser, it's cleans out my pores nicely and washes away without any residue (though I did use a facecloth instead of just my hands dipped in water to be sure). This was rather surprising, as I tried using my regular clay mask from the drugstore as a cleanser just to see what would happen, and found that it didn't move around to clean as well as the Vichy, and that it was really stubborn to wash off.
As a mask, it felt more gentle than my normal one, because it didn't dry up or glomp nearly as much. I put it on after washing my face at the beginning of my shower, and left it there until I was done (this is my normal routine). I didn't feel a need to wash my face afterward (which I usually do after a mask), and it washed off cleanly without leaving traces in my eyebrows or nostrils (which ALWAYS happens in my prior mask experiences).
Plus, my skin is quite happy and looks great after using this consistently once a day for almost a month.
The idea of having one product instead of three is definitely appealing, and I'm all for it. Go, Vichy!

Just before receiving the Vichy Dercos anti-dandruff shampoo I had just purchased a well-known name brand of 2-in-1 dandruff shampoo/conditioner to use. I recently shaved my head, and as my hair grows back I REALLY don't want any flakes as I think they would be even more noticeable than in longer hair.
So I used the other brand first, to be reminded of what my regular experience with an anti-dandruff shampoo was like. The product was very thick, and smelled very strong. I felt fine about it.
A few days later I used the Vichy Dercos for the first time. Instantly I noticed that the smell was light and pleasant, not at all overwhelming. And then the texture was similar to regular shampoos, not nearly as heavy as the other one. I ended up needing to use much less of the product, and once I was done, I smelled lovely! There was no trace of the usual odour that lingers after using the well-known brand (and let's face it, everyone recognizes THAT smell).
I have continued to use it once a week, and still no flakes after about a month! This was not the case the last time I shaved my head in the winter, so I can say that it is effective at preventing dandruff.
So by all means, go out and try the Vichy Dercos line. You won't feel as though you are treating dandruff, no one will think you smell like it, and it definitely works to prevent any flaking from happening.

However, mine chipped within a day of application. Chipped badly, on almost all of my fingers. I am not sure if this is because of the lack of basecoat or if the topcoat is not effective, or if there is another reason altogether, but I was not impressed. Which is sad, because I really fell in love with the colour.

I was very excited to try this new product in a colour that I had never worn before in any nail polish (a lovely dark blue, almost navy, called "Midnight Swim"). The colour blew me away immediately, and I thought I was in love! Until the next day (less than 18 hours after applying the polish), when it was chipped on almost all my fingers, including the ones that don't usually get as much wear.
Maybe this is because I did not use a basecoat, as I normally would, but the product claimed not to need one. I will try again, as I really do love the look of it, but need to figure out how to make it last more than a day.

As usual, though, I was quite pleased with the quality of the skin products sent to me by Chick Advisor for review - it was a real treat! -

This conditioner was fine, but I needed the extra boost from additional products in order to make my hair feel the way I think it should. It seemed that the hydration was in line with a standard hydrating conditioner from similar brands. On the plus side, the smell is wonderful! -
