I've been sampling both flavours both with alcohol and as mocktails, and the Blue Raspberry Martini is my favourite by far! Blue Raspberry has been one of my favourite flavours since I was a kid, and the flavour of the Motts Mr and Mrs T is great - not too sour but packs a nice punch! I am so grateful to Motts and ChickAdvisor for giving me the chance to try these, because I don't normally treat myself often to change up my drinks. I loved having this bit of variety and I will definitely be purchasing another bottle of the Blue Raspberry after I use this one. The value for these can't be beat as they are available on sale or even full price for less than $10 and you can get many uses out of them because you only need half a cup of product to make a delicious drink. It does have a lot of sugar (21g per 135mL), but that is less than the Mai Tai variety and worth it when mixed with juices, alcohol, or whatever you prefer. I am going to recommend these to friends and family for sure!
Cheers everyone! *clinks glass while sitting on a balcony*

I saw a small container of these two bite brownies on sale for just $2 today at Loblaws and I couldn't pass it up. Perhaps they are making them differently or it's just been a while, but they were so moist and fresh! I couldn't believe how soft they were. They're a great sweet snack and for me they take just one bite! :) -

I've tried this both as an alcoholic drink and just as a fruity mix, and I find it tastes better with the contrast of alcohol. Having it as a mocktail is incredibly sweet - I've tried using less than the suggested amount of mix and the taste it still incredibly sweet. One small serving has 37g of sugar, so this would be more of a treat cocktail! The flavour when mixed with alcohol is very fruity and tropical, with pineapple coming through the most. As I'm using such small portions the value is excellent - this bottle will last a long time, unless I crack it open with some friends this summer! Even so, the bottle is a great size and even with a larger group of people you wouldn't run out. I would probably purchase it again and recommend to others with a sweet tooth, but I'll probably be searching out some mixes with less sugar in the future.

Growing up getting a Ferrero Rocher was always seen as a luxurious treat, and I still think of them as a very fancy treat. They are a bit more expensive than chocolate bars or treats, but can still be found in supermarkets and drugstores for affordable prices. The chocolate always tastes delicious with a crunchy outer shell, soft inside and a crunchy hazelnut. I like that the wrapping has kept its classic look all these years while other products have decided to change. I will definitely purchase again when I'm feeling even slightly fancy. -

I have been snacking on Pocky for years and am glad that it is so readily available now - you can purchase it at many places including Walmart and even on Amazon.ca. In my latest amazon order I added a package of Pocky as an add-on item and I've been chowing down on chocolate and strawberry pocky ever since. I like how light the snack is, as it is a thin bread stick with chocolate dipped on one end. It's not beneficial nutritionally but it's a fun snack. I'd like to try Korean Pepero sticks next as I've heard great things! -

While I like eating the turkey variety of Piller's pepperettes, the original beef Pepperonis are a definite favourite of myself and my entire family. Each pepperoni packs a bit higher of a calorie punch, but each stick has 6g of protein which is great to get in every day. I generally eat more than one per day but one should be careful as they contain a lot of fat and salt and should be eaten in moderation if you're into that. The taste is delicious and the pepperonis are perfectly spiced. For those with sensitivities these are also gluten free, which is not always the case with pepperonis/pepperettes. These often go on sale so you can get a 500g package for under $7. I will recommend to friends and will most definitely be purchasing again. -

I had heard such great things about Suzy Q ever since moving back to Ottawa. A friend brought a dozen into work a few months ago and I could not get over how delicious and fresh the donuts were. I just went into the restaurant myself for the first time and it's fantastic as well - it has an accessible ramp and door, and the service is excellent. There are lots of donut flavours to choose from including maple bacon, bloop (blue icing with fruit loops on top), raspberry cassis, and so many more. I ate my maple bacon one first and it was just delicious! I've always loved a simple maple dip donut from Tim Horton's but this improves on it ten fold with fresh baked goods and new toppings.
I would recommend this to those living or visiting Ottawa! There's another donut shop that opened up recently in the south of Ottawa that I am going to try soon and compare with.

I just ordered a Starbucks Berry Prickly Pear Frappucino Crème this afternoon because I was curious about the new products. It is one of two new crème flavours for the summer, the other being pineapple mango. Both frappucinos are made with a mango crème and mixed with fruit purée. Unfortunately this flavour did not live up to my expectations. I'm glad I tried it because it is a seasonal/temporary product, but the prickly pear flavour was too strong and just not a good combination with the mango, in my opinion. I would have preferred if it was just straight berries with mango. However, I can say that it was very refreshing and not as heavy as the regular crème frapps I've had. I am looking forward to trying the pineapple mango variety though as those are two flavours that always go well together, in addition to the mango crème base itself.
I like that these are made with real fruit purées rather than the powder (I believe it's powder) used with the other crème frapps. Try these out for yourself ladies! Maybe there are lots of prickly pear fans out there :)

I received a sample of this moisturizer as part of my ChickAdvisor Premium welcome bag and I have been using it here and there since then. Designed as part 2 in a system of exfoliating and moisturizing, it works best if you use Vasanti exfoliants beforehand. I was skeptical at first because the directions said to use a pea sized amount for your entire face, but it really spreads easily and you don't need much to moisturize your whole face. My one niggling complaint about it is that it goes on like a sun screen - you really have to rub it in and be vigilant otherwise you end up with white patches on your face. Similarly, I was surprised that despite having the appearance of sunscreen there is no SPF included. This is something that's important to me in the summer months as I am very fair and burn easily. I don't like having to use a number of products on my face to moisturize and protect myself from the sun, but I will continue using this because I like how soft and bright my face looks after using it.
The full size product is 60mL and on the Vasanti Canadian website for $34, which I think is a fairly reasonable price for a higher end product. With any sales or special discounts available I would definitely purchase it again and recommend to friends and family.

I am convinced Vicks can cure most things! I use it when I'm congested from a cold or the flu and I it's also crucial for me in treating headaches and migraines. I've also heard people put it on the soles of their feet to help with congestion and cough. I haven't found any products that come close to how effective Vicks is. -
