I like to buy Orville Redenbacher Pop up Bowls in the buttery flavour, and generally I have good experiences with the brand and this particular product. More recently however, the bags in boxes I've purchased have crusty butter on the outside of the bag, meaning there would be none inside the bag with the popcorn, and it melts all over the microwave. I've contacted the company about it and hope to hear back soon. The taste is great though when you have a package that's not defective. I like to add a little salt to mine. It's not as great as movie theatre popcorn but it's a great substitute. -

I've had my Fitbit Charge HR for a full year now, and it has made me feel really motivated to get active. I like combining it with the Carrot Rewards app to meet my step goals and earn Scene points towards free movies. It is a pricier item, but their customer service and policy for replacing them for almost any reason is phenomenal. The screen is very prone to scratches, and there isn't a screen protector small enough to stay affixed and protect it, so it just keeps getting worse. The second generation charge HR was recently released with a larger screen, so I am hoping that they have screen protectors or something to ensure that the screens aren't scratched beyond recognition in the first month. I have a large Charge HR in plum, but I would love to try some of the new colour combos they've released lately, especially rose gold and or lavender. I would recommend it again and will likely purchase an updated version this year. -

I recently ordered Project Candy Box subscription box and received a grape flavoured Kabang Energy Candy. The flavour is great and has a fizzing, sour, centre. The package says that 100% of the candy is made with B6, B12, and Vitamin C plus Ginseng, so it is better for you than energy drinks. I don't know how they would affect someone over time, but I definitely felt a little boost of energy for a few hours after eating it. It is a bit harder to get a hold of as it is a newer product, but I'd be willing to give it a try for a longer period of time. -

I got this product as part of my welcome bag for ChickAdvisor Premium. So far it has been fantastic and will last a long time! The formula is gentle and the smell is clean and intoxicating. My skin does feel a little bit more moisturized than after other body washes. I am looking forward to trying the other scent too! Would purchase again on sale and would recommend to family and friends. -

I received a Moisture Bomb sheet mask for free directly from Garnier last week in the mail. I feel that after fifteen minutes of wear I could instantly see improvement in how hydrated my skin looked. My skin definitely felt fresher and softer, which are two of the claims on the packaging. It doesn't have a strong scent, but it is a pleasant and relaxing one. The mask does include Hyaluronic Acid, and by the end of the fifteen minutes some parts of my face were definitely tingling. As for its claim to deliver 24 hour long-lasting hydration, I don't think it lasted quite that long, perhaps closer to six hours. I'm sure in the summer it would last even longer. Depending on the price for a package of the sheet masks, I would consider purchasing them again. -

The first things that drew me to this Cushion Foundation in the store were the packaging, the reputation of the Physicians Formula brand, and the $9 mail in rebate sticker on the box. It was already on sale at Shoppers Drug Mart for under $15, and after I mail in the rebate the cost will be much more affordable. As other reviewers have said, it provides a light coverage, but it is effective. The powder foundations never seem to work on my skin as it is quite dry in some areas, but the mousse/cushion quality of this one works well for my skin. I would probably purchase this again and my one suggestion is that Physicians Formula roll out different shades as the selection at the store was quite minimal. -

I wish that Excedrin Migraine was available in Canada, because that would make it much easier to buy. Luckily I spend a lot of time in Windsor so I can easily go over, but still. I think it's mainly the caffeine in it that makes it work so quickly and effectively in comparison to just acetaminophen. Excedrin contains acetaminophen, ASA, and caffeine. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it can't take away all migraines, and really has to be taken at the onset of migraines for it to work to its full potential. -

I've often pined after L'Occitane products, but wasn't able to treat myself to them very often. I was fortunate enough to get to my local L'Occitane in time to grab a free sample pack they had that included a 10mL tube of L'Occitane en Provence 20% Shea Butter Dry Skin Hand Cream, as well as an 8mL pot of L'Occitane Light Comforting Cream. The hand cream has a very thick consistency which is perfect for my hands after a long winter. I don't agree that it doesn't have a strong scent though - while not unpleasant the scent of shea butter or other products hangs around for a little while. However, that is outweighed by how soft and smooth it made my hands feel instantly! I'll be using the rest of this 10mL tube and hopefully purchasing another after. -

I purchased the Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge with Bamboo Charcoal a few weeks ago from Sephora, hoping it would improve the texture and overall appearance of my skin. I had heard rave reviews about konjac sponges, and thought it was finally time to treat myself. Costing around $20 Canadian, I found it to be a bit expensive. However, it is excellent at exfoliating my skin and leaves it very soft and smooth. Once water is applied to the sponge it becomes very gentle, but even still, I would not use it as often as twice per day, as recommended on the packaging. I have marked it down for effectiveness because it has recently caused me to break out unexpectedly. I'm unsure if it's entirely to blame, but it's the one thing I've been doing differently. Also, the fact that it is only supposed to last 2 or 3 months makes it an expensive purchase that one would need to keep making 4 to 6 times per year. -

I received these Voortman Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Like the coconut flavour, these are also more hard, crunchy, crumbly cookies, of which I am not normally a fan. I generally prefer firm cookies that stay together. That being said, they are still very tasty and my whole family has been snacking on these since I got them in the mail. I would recommend all of the new flavours of Voortman Cookies to friends and family and would probably purchase the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookie flavour again. -
