I've purchased one of these on my own and received another as a gift. Even wearing a full face of makeup most days the kit lasted a long time. The Porefessional primer is an ample size as you only need to use a very little bit to start covering up dilated pores. The foundation was a great shade for me in light, but the second concealer shade didn't really fit with my skintone. The powder is a great finishing touch but I generally used a specific brush rather than the smaller brush they provide in the kit. The price seems a bit high at first but when you consider you're getting a decent size of a variety of products it seems quite reasonable. I would recommend to others especially if they are dipping their toes into the makeup waters or just want a kit that does it all. -

I've been using them on and off for the past few months and I really like how securely they attach, as other pads barely feel like they're sticking even when you've just first put them on. Shoppers Drug Mart was selling them in smaller packages of three per box for $0.99, but they came with a $1 coupon so I picked up a couple of boxes. I wish I would have picked up more but I didn't know that they were going to be such a great product. Would recommend for anyone, but especially if you're not a fan of tampons. -

I received a 0.5oz sample size of this product a few times this past year when I was trying out different beauty subscription boxes. I've tried a few products from the Nourish Organic line and I really like the natural scents, ingredients, and results they provide. This facial moisturizer contains argan oil, rosewater, and shea butter, and absorbs into the skin so smoothly and easily. The smell is a bit strong at first but it's nothing artificial and you get used to it quickly. The pricepoint if you want to buy a full size from a Canadian website is very high (in my opinion! I'm more of a budget chick) as a 50mL tube is almost $40! Purchasing from the brand's site means a price tag of $24 USD, but if you are looking for a gentle organic moisturizer this is a great option. I may purchase again if I can find a better deal, and I would definitely recommend. -

I also received this in my FabFitFun Editor's box a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure about using it because I have seen some pretty serious videos on youtube about chemical peels, but this is as gentle as it promises to be. I didn't even spray very much and my skin feels very smooth from just a few uses. The size of the product we received in our boxes is a full size 59mL and I think it will last me quite a while. As it is not abrasive, the directions say it can be used many times per week but I think I will stick to just twice a week to ensure it doesn't cause any irritation. I could instantly see the brightening agents working their magic on my skin as well.
Not as much dead skin came off as I've seen on their website, but next time I will spray a bit more liberally to see if it makes a difference. The price point if you buy it directly from their website is quite high ($44 USD), but it is a fantastic product and packed with natural ingredients so I could see myself splurging for the full size or maybe deluxe travel size. I would definitely recommend this to everyone, even if you have sensitive skin as it is very gentle.

It seems like a lot of chicks have had good luck with L'Oreal Million Lashes, but unfortunately I did not. I was fortunate enough to find it in a clearance bin so possibly why my results weren't as good. It's quite a clumpy application and just mediocre in quality. I have been using shade 670 black, and it is nice and dark which I like. I'm not a huge fan of lighter coloured mascaras so the pigment of this one works well. I would not recommend this to friends based on my experience so far but may purchase again to see if maybe this one was just a fluke! -

The hearts are even biodegradable so it's a win win! I love that lush products are all cruelty free, but sometimes I feel that their products are a bit out of my price range. I do treat myself to a bath bomb now and again though, especially when it the smell of vanilla and tonka is so good!! Would recommend, will definitely be purchasing again. -

I've been using this lip scrub on and off for a few years since I first bought it at a Lush in the UK. I love that all of their products are so natural and cruelty free. As I say in the title, this scrub is almost like a snack because of how delicious it is. Think buttered popcorn jelly belly and you'll be very close to the flavour of it. The product is also very effective in exfoliating lips whether it be after a long winter or just a weekly treatment to keep them soft. I would recommend to others and will purchase again. -

I am a big fan of all things nerd and geek, and when I saw this Darth Vader humidifier I knew I NEEDED it in my life. Luckily it was on sale for under $50 at Sears. I wouldn't pay much more than that, but for $50 it is a fantastic addition to my room. I don't find that added too much moisture to the room, despite having a 2 L capacity and a run time of 24 hours. While the effectiveness wasn't 5 stars, the novelty of it really makes it a valuable piece for me. The vapour actually comes out of a slot in his helmet which makes it even more enjoyable to use. I would recommend to fellow fans for the novelty but not for the effectiveness. -

On my thin, oily hair, Tresemmé Clean & Natural works very well. As with the conditioner from the same line, you can find this for a very reasonable price at drugstores and supermarkets. I paid $4 at Shoppers Drug Mart for a very large bottle and I have been using it for months. It leaves my hair feeling hydrated and light. The shampoo lathers very well and you don't need a lot of product to have enough to use on all of your hair (I have medium to long hair right now). I highly recommend this shampoo and will purchase again. -

I have been using Tresemmé Clean & Natural products on and off for a few years - taking breaks to try new samples and brands, and I've come back to Tresemmé because I can always count on it to make my hair feel tangle free and hydrated. I was surprised by how low some of the reviews are for these, but everyone has different hair and different concerns! For me, with thin, oily hair, I find the shampoo and conditioner work well together and leave my hair feeling great. Neither of them have a very strong scent, but it is pleasant when you're using it. I would recommend products in this line to others and I intend to purchase again soon. I was able to get bottles in an extra value size of nearly 1L at Shoppers for under $4 so the value was really fantastic. -
