I've been online shopping for several years now. However, this past week I tried online grocery shopping for the first time! I was a bit hesitant since I didn't really know what to expect. After hearing about #VoilabySobeys I was excited to give this a try.
My husband and I usually go grocery shopping on Thursday evenings, however, this past week I had been booked for a podcast interview. Instead of rescheduling our grocery shopping date, we found this to be a perfect opportunity to order our groceries online and have it delivered to our front door.
On Wed evening, I created an account with Voila which took a few simple steps. Then I booked a delivery date for Friday from 12noon to 1pm. We had our grocery list written down, so I entered each item in the search tool on the website and chose the item that I wanted. I usually filtered by the best value. It took me about an hour (took me a bit longer as a first-timer to navigate the website and I was browsing through a bunch of sale items!). We reviewed all the items in our cart which was about $100 plus tax. The cost for delivery is $7.99. This seems like an acceptable fee since the robots need to pick up all our items and a delivery man drops it off at our house. I also received a $25 discount as part of a Product Review Club offer. We submitted our order and I received the email confirmation order right away in my inbox.
On Friday right before 12noon, I received a phone call from the delivery man. He arrived right at my front door. He greeted me, wore a mask and gloves and informed me that everything was temperature-checked. The items that needed to be refrigerated right away were in a colour-coded bag with green handles. Overall, it was nice to not have to drive to the grocery store and we saved money on gas. I would recommend this to a friend if they don't feel comfortable leaving their house because of COVID-19 or other health issues. I would use this service again if my schedule gets busy and I don't have the time to physically go to the grocery store.

I got the opportunity to try Mott's Mr & Mrs T Strawberry Daiquiri Cocktail Mix for free for testing purposes. It was available at the Metro grocery store. I did see it for cheaper at Dollarama (so those of you looking for a deal, you should go there first!). My husband and I followed the recipe which was easy to make and within a few minutes, we whipped up a refreshing and tasty strawberry daiquiri! We even garnished it with a slice of strawberry. It definitely tastes like the same quality that you would normally pay for at a restaurant for ~$10. With this bottle, it can last you a long time and it's nice to make it for friends when you have a house party, BBQ or drinks on the balcony. I would recommend this to friends to give it a try! -

I was very excited to receive the new Ben & Jerry's® Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert in CHERRY GARCIA for testing purposes. The texture is a bit light but the almond flavour is very nice. I love the big chunks of dark chocolate and the cherries. It is a small container but packed full of high quality dairy-free ice cream. My husband is lactose-intolerant so this is a perfect treat for him that he can indulge in guilt-free! -

Before I tried the Vileda Promist Max Spray Mop, I used to take a swiffer and a spray bottle and manually spray the floor and clean the floor at the same time. After having received the Vileda Promist Max Spray Mop complimentary for testing purposes, it was like someone had read my mind and built this cleaning device for me! It was pretty easy to figure out how to use, but when you lock in the bottle of cleaning solution, make sure that it snaps or clicks into place.
It's a bit bigger and clunkier than my other floor mops which makes it a bit trickier to swerve around some furniture, but the 180 swivel makes it easier to manoeuvre.
I find that it does pick up dirt and grime, but don't expect it to pick up hair or other heavier dirt. So I had to take a dust pan and clean up the particles separately.
Its definitely more convenient and easy to use. The trigger to spray the cleaning solution is pretty fun to use. However, the spray can shoot about 1 foot outwards, so just be sure to not spray your appliances or furniture by accident. Instead, you can use tiny sprays instead of a long spray.
Overall, I believe it is a handy product to have around the condo and it does a good job with cleaning up dirt and grime.

I received this Pure Leaf Tea product complimentary for testing purposes. I really like how it comes in the little packets. The first time I tried it I had it with hot water which tasted really nice. The second time, I blended it with almond milk and it turns into a nice sweet creamy milk tea! So you can be creative with how you drink this matcha green tea! -

This one was a bit hard to finish because of its sweetness. Also, its got a bit more liquid texture. I probably would blend it into a fruit smoothie to thicken it. -

So depending on if you're doing weights or a lighter exercise, then you may or may not need the entire shake. It tastes better when chilled or blended with ice. -

I really love the cute packaging that it comes it. I've been a fan of eos for many years because the lip balm is glides on really easily on my lips. The texture is really smoothe and makes my lips feel moisturized.
The sweet mint flavour makes me feel refreshed.

I really love the cute packaging that it comes it. I've been a fan of eos for many years because the lip balm is glides on really easily on my lips. The texture is really smoothe and makes my lips feel moisturized.
Strawberry sorbet is nice and fruity and its easy to carry in my purse.
