I was selected to receive a free full sized product to review. I am meticulous about using facial moisturizer but not always as good with the body portion. I was intrigued by the gel formula -honestly expecting that it might be somewhat clinging or sticky. I was very pleasantly surprised at the texture of the cream. It took very little time to be absorbed - you can dress right away after application. I work in a scent sensitive environment so a scent free product is perfect for me. I have a still fairly recent tattoo (first week of February) and have been using this product to keep it fresh. Also one of the odd side effects of a medical issue that I have is odd areas of skin dryness with itching. During the trial of this product I experienced a bit of a flare on my back and use the gel cream on that area. Within a week, the area was much smoother and by keeping it moisturized, less itchy than usual.
Although I did get it for free, at the suggested retail price of $8.99 I think this is competitively priced and something I will both buy and recommend to others.

I don't know why I haven't reviewed Maybelline's Great Lash Mascara before! I have been using it since I was 14 years old. It wasn't common in the 70s for young teen girls to be allowed to wear makeup but I had been wearing it for ballet recitals for several years already and my mother, although strict in many ways, was open to mascara a pale lip gloss. It is a humorous family story that as a teen, I wouldn't take the garbage to the street until I had my mascara on (not sure who I was going to see!). Great Lash has always been among the less expensive mascaras so maybe that's why it was my "gateway" mascara! I have used different brands on and off over the years and I always come back to the iconic green and pink container. I always laugh when someone is asking which mascara someone uses and hear, "oh you know, the pink and green one"! I usually like the dramatic look of Blackest Black but have been known to dabble in other colours! The coverage is smooth, non-clumping, and definitely waterproof. I highly recommend this tried and true product. -

I needed to buy a quick something for packed lunches and saw this mix for the first time. The price was right and I felt that with the Robin Hood name, it should be at very least, acceptable. Adding only oil and eggs from home, mixed up in moments. I have made it in muffin tin with liners rather than the loaf pan just for ease of packing lunches. We found the taste and texture to be very nice. I will add chopped nuts one of these days but this is a good mix if you normally like to bake from scratch but don't have time etc. -

I personally love croissants so when I saw the chocolate one at Tims I was excited to try it. it was shortly after opening so product was fresh. There was none of the airy flaky quality that a croissant should have. It was more like a squashed pastry, very dense. The filling was overly sweet. Overall this was a disappointing pastry. -

This is my quick "ugh I really didn't eat much of a breakfast" solution when I get to work. I find most quick breakfasts lack protein and this has 14 grams which I think is decent.I also need to keep my iron intake up and this has 15% of daily intake which helps. The downside is that I find the sausage patty needs to be drained more, so my easy solution is to blot it between layers of paper towel, problem solved. I enjoy the simple taste of the sausage and English Muffin, sometimes with and sometimes without cheese. -

With the discontinuation of the Bran Muffin at McDonald's, I decided to try the other types. This muffin is really more of a cupcake with shards of grated carrot, rather than a carrot muffin. There was very little taste apart from sweetness (i.e. no hint of cinnamon or anything else). I gave 2 stars for taste - if it was a cupcake I probably would have given 5 stars but they aren't' the same thing! I felt that there was very little of the carrot in the muffin, although what was in there was distributed evenly. The price is reasonable, especially when paired with a small coffee. With 15% of daily iron requirements, this is a good thing but I have to balance the fact that 66 grams of carbohydrates are just too much for me in a single muffin. So overall, if you want a "cupcake" type experience with a little touch of carrot, this is for you, if you were looking for a more nutritious snack or a portion of a meal, this isn't it. -

OxiCLean Versatile Stain Remover Powder was a great asset in bathroom cleaning. With so many ways to use this product, I decided to focus on bathroom cleaning. My bathroom is like a construction site in terms or stages of what has been replaced and what needs to be replaced. The toilet is quite new and therefore easy to clean, used a bit of the powder to get it sparkly but more importantly, perhaps because of water quality, under the rim is quite hard to clean and it didn't take much scrubbing to get it clean. The sink isn't ancient but old enough that it develops a "ring" if you look at it the wrong way - again, the powder and a little scrubbing took care of that. The tub and shower are the real disasters. I made a paste of the product with a little water and although it took some work, this product did manage to clean better than any of the foams that promise to remove build up. As someone who is not allergic to but fairly sensitive at times to certain cleaning product scents, the Oxiclean line is quite neutral in that regard. I am happy to have #gotitfree to be able to try out the product. -

OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover really brightened up the laundry #gotitfree. I made a couple of different loads to test the product. The dark load was noticeably brighter than the load that had just been washed. I feel it probably removed old residue. I am not a fan of chlorine bleach for my whites (I find something inevitably gets splashed that wasn't supposed to ) so I did a load of whites and they came out as well as if using the liquid chlorine bleach. Final load was towels and again, we felt that they came out not only freshly smelling but the terry towel was brighter. I feel that this will be a regular addition to my routine now, you don't use a lot per load so good value. I would recommend it. -

The OxiClean MaxForce Spray that I #gotitfree was an effective addition to my laundry routine. I normally have a very minimal routine and don't use a spray. For this review I pulled the shirts that my university son wears for intramural soccer practices and games at uni - white collars which don't come totally clean, as well as some shirts and tops that we all have noticed just don't get totally clean where something may have splashed or touched. I also have some nicer tops from before my weight loss that I want to give away but have some spots and I never feel good about giving something away if it wouldn't be nice enough for me to wear. The soccer shirt collars turned out much improved and I think with another treatment will be completely white again. As far as all of the tops and shirts they are all spot free - I should disclose that I hang almost all of my laundry rather than drying so although these were old stains they hadn't been "dried in". I was very pleased with how everything turned out and would recommend it to anyone for their laundry. I probably won't use it every time but when needed -

I do not buy the Keurig cups all of the time - I have some reusable cups that I refill, but for convenience, when I buy the cups, I buy Tim Hortons. I enjoy the taste, at 9.99 (usual price in this market for a 12 pack) so about .84/cup find the pricing ok, even better when there is a coupon or sale for 8.99 or 7.99 but less than getting it as take out. So value and taste a big factors for me. I am also a year round composter and dedicated recycler and the Tims pods are very easy to separate and do both with so no guilt factor for using a disposable product. -
