It is really runny though so it's understandable that it needs a powder with it. It doesn't feel too heavy either -

It did work well, sometimes I'd need a little more by the end of the day. But it didn't leave any residue, it did give a nice amount of volume, and for the most part it soaked up all the oil on my hair. I recommend trying it -- I just have extra oily hair so it might work for others. -
