I was already in the micellar water camp, so this product was welcome even before I tried it. Once I did, though, there was no going back! It doesn't have the strange scent/taste that some micellar waters do, and it removes makeup beautifully and leaves skin feeling soft, clean, and refreshed. I didn't have to scrub at all, even wearing heavy mascara, which is wonderful! -

If you like the taste of chocolate meal replacement shakes, then you know how this tastes. I drank it with a light work lunch and it held me up for ages. -

Picking up extra days at work gave me a perfect opportunity to put First Protein Vanilla Shake to the test. Unfortunately, I wasn't really able to do a good evaluation because I couldn't force myself to drink the whole thing. It was okay at first, but the bitter, tinny aftertaste was hard to overlook. -

I really wanted to like this bath fizzer -- it had such glorious packaging and smelled so nice! -- but sadly, it fell short for me. The scent, once unwrapped, wasn't much like almond macarons at all. I would have been okay with that but I used it in a foot bath, two blocks' worth, and after about five minutes it started to sting somewhat around the edges of my soles.
The one thing I can say is that my feet felt softer and smoother afterwards, but I certainly wouldn't shell out a lot of money for this bar.

I bought this mat out of desperation; I had terrible hip pains and shoulder pain, and was trying all sorts of things both herbal and mechanical to find relief. I found the Spoonk Mat (I hate that name btw) at a natural pharmacy and took it home.
The mat is covered with hard plastic circles, each of which has sharp bits on it. Not enough to break skin, of course but all the same I'd recommend you put some clothes between you and the mat when you're starting out. I angled myself on the sofa so the aching hip would be resting on the mat, which felt very peculiar and uncomfortable. But gradually, it started to feel really good, and when I removed it I rolled it up to stick behind my shoulders and upper back, and it felt amazing!
You can also lie on it in bed for meditative or other qualities. They warn you not to sleep on it but let's be real, it's bound to happen.

I needed to make a switch to decaf so I chose a tin of Melitta because, honestly, it was on sale. At home I'm fine with instant coffee, but at work I want something more complex than that. This Arabica coffee, naturally decaffeinated (which I assume means water decaffeination but I haven't looked into it), makes a rich and smooth cup, very drinkable, and more than able to quench coffee cravings without making you shaky. -

My mom passed this product on to me because she said it didn't suit her, and when I tried it out I could see why. First of all the product wets the want up to a ridiculous level, so I was getting black daubs of mascara on my cheeks and eyebrow ridge as I used it. Second, the brush is stiff and clunky, depositing waaaaay too much product on your lashes in big clumps.
It made my eyes ache, it was flaky by the end of the day, and it was MONSTROUS to take off. I had to scrub at it with micellar water for about ten minutes to get it all off. So nope, can't recommend this one.

On the Tuesday I picked up my #gotitfree Rubbermaid FreshWorks, I had a bunch of leftover cut melon from a work function earlier (that had sat out on a counter for a couple of hours, no less) and when I got home I chucked the cubed melon in the produce saver, stuck it in the fridge, and forgot about it.
Well, today -- Friday -- I'm at work with my container of melon, and it's absolutely as sweet and fresh as when I packed it away. I am truly astonished, considering that it only takes cantaloupe and honeydew a couple of days to start fermenting, much less if it's bought already cut up and sits out for a while.
Basically, #RubbermaidFreshWorks won me over instantly! Highly recommended.
