When the box arrived, I immediately knew what it was. I waited patiently for my 3 year old nephew to get home and then let him open it up. He was so happy and excited. Like all kids, he loves getting presents, but he especially loves Paw Patrol. We promptly opened the package and he played with those cars for hours. He didn't want to share a single one with his older brother.
From an adult perspective, I quite like them. They don't appear cheap; they have some weight to them, and they roll beautifully. I think they would be a welcome gift for any little one who is a fan of Paw Patrol. I suspect these little cars will be around the house for years to come. I was offered a $25 off coupon code on a VoilaBySobeys order of $100+ through ChickAdvisor in exchange for my review of this newly launched service. I am very glad I was selected to participate as I was able to see the benefits first hand. The site is easy to navigate, and there were plenty of available delivery time slots. My order was packed by robots and transported in a refrigerated truck by a lovely gentleman who wore a mask and respected social distancing guidelines. He explained this new service and asked that I inspect the produce to ensure it was up to par, or the item would immediately be removed from my bill. I definitely intend to order from them again. It was a completely stress-free experience. My only request is that they bring in a larger selection of vegetarian products in the future. Overall, I would highly recommend checking them out. -

ChickAdvisor sent me the Aveeno Repairing Cica Hand Mask for free, in exchange for my thoughts. I was excited to indulge in a little self-care and pampering. Unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointing experience. The mask was too small for my hands. I was able to get them on, but the finger length was too short. In addition, the closure tab also didn't work - it refused to stick. That said, I did find the contents of the mask to be moisturizing. My hands have been incredibly chapped, with cracking skin. While it wasn't a cure all, my skin did feel better immediately following use. On another note, I think Aveeno should ensure that any single-use item they put on the market is compostable so that we don't continue to add to the landfills. -

ChickAdvisor sent me the Aveeno Repairing Cica Foot Mask for free, in exchange for my thoughts. I was excited to indulge in a little self-care and pampering. Unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointing experience. The mask was too small for my feet. I had trouble getting my foot through the opening, and then the length from toe to heel was too short so my toes were squished. The closure tab also didn't work - it refused to stick. That said, I did find the contents of the mask to be moisturizing. It would be important to note that my feet felt very slick afterwards and I had to be careful when walking so as not to slip. On another note, I think Aveeno should ensure that any single-use item they put on the market is compostable so that we don't continue to add to the landfills. -

I was sent Seventh Generation Glass Cleaner in the scent Sparkling Seaside from the Family Rated program for free to try and share my thoughts. I found the product to be effective and I enjoyed the scent. I find other glass cleaners to have an overpowering scent. The scent of the Seventh Generation glass cleaner was mild and non-offensive. The product left a clean, streak-free surface with zero film. I will likely repurchase in the future. -

I received Seventh Generation All Purpose Cleaner in the scent Morning Meadow from the Family Rated program to try and share my thoughts. In a nutshell, I love it. It smells fantastic and is an effective cleaner. It comes in a handy spray bottle. I'm quick to grab it whenever there is a small spill or mess. Spritz, spritz, wipe and the job is done. I've used it on counters, tables, floors... wherever needed. I'll definitely be replacing the bottle once is runs out. #gotitfree -

I received a bottle of Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry Detergent from the Family Rated program for free to try and share my thoughts. I'm one of those people who likes the scent of freshly cleaned laundry so I check product scents before purchase. I was interested in trying a product without dyes or synthetic fragrances. I'm not sure if it comes in other scents, but the Alpine Falls scent I received was quite pleasant. I'm happy to report that the 100% essential oils and botanical extracts contained in this laundry detergent left my laundry smelling fresh and clean. I will definitely be looking to add this new product to my weekly laundry routine. #gotitfree -

I received a bottle of Vichy's Liftactiv Supreme Serum 10 from ChickAdvisor for free, in exchange for my honest thoughts on the product.
I've been using the serum every day and I quite like the product. I swipe my face with Pixi's Glow Tonic and then promptly apply the serum. It isn't heavily scented, and it absorbs quickly into my skin.
The packaging notes that this serum targets 10 signs of aging for skin that looks transformed: wrinkles, loss of firmness, fine lines, dull complexion, tired features, uneven complexion, loss of plumpness, loss of tonicity, signs of fatigue, and dehydrated skin. While I cannot attest that it meets all these claims, I like how it feels, and my skin seems to like it as well. I didn't experience any redness or irritation.
An important note regarding the packaging - I don't like the bottle/applicator. It doesn't seem to work well for me. I end up just wiping my fingers along the dropper to collect enough product for single use.
Unfortunately, Vichy is not cruelty-free. I'd love them to revise their stance on animal testing, and introduce natural and organic products into their line. I think that would only make a good thing better.

I received a bottle of Vichy's Liftactiv Supreme face cream from ChickAdvisor for free, in exchange for my honest thoughts on the product.
My recent routine, to incorporate these new products I received, has been to swipe my face with Pixi's Glow Tonic, follow that with Vichy's Liftactiv Serum 10, and then once that absorbs, massage the skin cream into my face. Like the serum, I didn't find the face cream to be heavily scented. It is a thick and rich cream but doesn't feel heavy on my skin.
The packaging notes that this face cream helps target wrinkles and loss of firmness. My skin has certainly felt plump and hydrated. I also didn't experience any redness or irritation from the introduction of new products into my skin care routine.
Unfortunately, Vichy is not cruelty-free. I'd love them to revise their stance on animal testing, and introduce natural and organic products into their line. I think that would only make a good thing better.
