I hadn't heard of the SkinActive Miracle Anti-Fatigue Hydra-Gel moisturizer before receiving it from ChickAdvisor. I'm always excited to try new products though. I love the packaging. The dispenser was easy to control and I was able to squeeze out the desired amount of product. I also love the gel consistency. It felt really nice and soothing on my skin. Overall though, I didn't find it to be very moisturizing. I have taken to mixing in some additional facial oil before applying it to my skin. That works well, but on its own, it is just an average face moisturizer. I won't be buying this one in the future. There are simply too many better options on the market.

Colour me impressed! In the past I have not been thrilled with Garnier products and thus would never have considered picking up the SkinActive Micellar Water, but fortunately I received a bottle for free from ChickAdvisor, and I am 100% sold. I have been using that expensive holy grail micellar water for some time now, and never expected this drugstore version to do as well, but it did! I moistened a cotton pad and the micellar water did the rest. End result: clean face! I will definitely repurchase. Tell all your friends!

I received Lipidol Overnight Face Oil for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. As I noted in my review of the Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil, I'm so glad that I was awarded this campaign. The display unit at Walmart caught my eye months ago, but I never picked up any of their products. I think it was the simple packaging that didn't really impress me. Having tried the product, I can now say that I'm impressed. To use it, you simply put a few drop in your hands, massage the oil between your palms, and then apply it your face. I was apprehensive that using this type of product would result in waking up with an oily face, but I'm happy to report that that was not the case. My face was soft and smooth, and felt supple and hydrated.
I think the product retails for about $9, which is a great deal as a little goes a long way. A bottle will last you a long time.
I enjoy scented products, and I particularly love the scent of this oil, but if you have a sensitivity to smells, you should know that this one is "lightly fragranced with essential oils of Ylang Ylang and Black Pepper". It smells lovely to me, but I know that scent is a major issue for many people these days.
Personally I would not hesitate to repurchase, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

I received Lipidol Cleansing Face Oil for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I'm so glad that I was awarded this campaign. The display unit at Walmart caught my eye months ago, but I never picked up any of their products. I think it was the simple packaging that didn't really impress me. Having tried the product, I can now say that I'm impressed. To use it, you simply put a few drop in your hands, massage the oil between your palms, and then rub your face. The oil somehow picks up all the makeup and dirt on your face. You then add some water, and it turns sort of creamy. Wash it all away, and you're done! My face was clean and didn't feel dried out or stripped of moisture, which is pretty common with some other face cleaners.
I think the product retails for about $9, which is a great deal as a little goes a long way. A bottle will last you a long time.

I received a bottle of Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion Sensitive Skin Faces SPF50 from ChickAdvisor for review. I found the product to have a nice consistency - not too thin, and not too thick. In addition, it has a pleasant scent. It applied easily, and absorbed quickly. I didn't have to wait long before starting my makeup application. I didn't have any reaction to the cream at all - no redness, no sensitivity, no breakouts. As for the SPF protection, I can't really say how effective it was as there hasn't been much sun in my neck of the wood. I still have quite a bit of product left and will continue to use it through the summer. Hopefully it will offer sufficient sun protection. #CoppertoneSensitiveSkin -

About three weeks ago I received Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep from Chick Advisor. I was thrilled to have been selected as one of the individuals who got to try it and review it. I have been consistently using it every evening since I got it. After washing my face, applying toner and essence, and the Life Serum, I used the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep.
The packaging on this product is beautiful, and I especially loved the mirrored cover. The product itself has a lovely scent and a thick, creamy texture. It applied easily but didn't absorb right away. As for the effectiveness, I found that it worked nicely on my skin. I woke up every morning with soft, hydrated skin but I kept wanting to be wowed...and wasn't. My skin felt great, but I've experienced similar effects with other products. If the product was on sale, I might consider picking it up again, but at the regular price I'm not sure it is worthwhile.

About three weeks ago I received Vichy Idealia Life Serum from Chick Advisor. I was thrilled to have been selected as one of the individuals who got to try it and review it. I have been consistently using it twice a day since I got it. Every morning, after washing my face, applying toner and essence, I've applied the serum, followed by a face cream. Every evening, after washing my face, applying toner and essence, I've applied the serum and the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep.
The packaging on this product is beautiful, but I've had a few issues with the dispenser. The product itself has a lovely scent and a light texture. It applied easily and absorbed quickly. As for the effectiveness, I found that it worked nicely on my skin, but I kept wanting to be wowed...and wasn't. My skin felt great, but I've experienced similar effects with other products. If the product was on sale, I might consider picking it up again, but I don't know that the price is worthwhile.

I like that you can turn the top to dispense the amount of product you want. Application was fine. It seemed to set my foundation without issue. A good drugstore purchase. -

I received the GOSH Lip Lacquer from Chick Advisor for review purposes. I love the cute packaging, and as someone who is not sensitive to odor, I loved the sweet watermelon scent. The product is definitely pigmented, which is another plus! My issues with the product lie primarily with the wand. It is not long enough to really get all the product from the container so there will be a lot of waste. In addition, since the formula is quite thick, I found application to be a little bit challenging. I kept ending up with thicker patches around the rims of my lips and had to blot and then reapply. I wish the formula was a bit drier too. Because it is so wet, it comes off easily. Overall it was okay, but I certainly won't be purchasing others, or recommending it to friends. Thumbs down for me. -

I received the GOSH Crazy Volume Mascara from Chick Advisor for review purposes. I had no issue with application on my upper lashes, but the brush was too big and the product too thick and clumpy for application on the lower lashes. In addition, while this mascara is supposed to give crazy volume, it did not compete with another drugstore brand I am currently using. It is passable, but I would not purchase, nor would I recommend it to my friends. You can definitely find better for the same price point. -
