I didn't have high hopes for this mask, but was very pleasantly surprised. The mask is a clear gel that goes on easily. It has a stronger scent, but nothing too bad. As the mask foams it does make your skin itch terribly - it took all my will not to rinse it off in the first 5 minutes. It took a bit to rinse off, but when I finally had all traces of the mask removed, my skin did feel nice and smooth but didn't really notice any hydrating.
For the price, it's an OK mask, but those with sensitive skin beware that it may irritate your skin.

If you love the look and longevity of gel but crave the ease and speed of lacquer, then Jamberry's ColourCure is what you need.
ColourCure goes on like a gel and cures with an LED lamp, but does not require a top coat or base coat, and there is no tacky layer to remove.
Apply a thin layer starting at the cuticle and capping the end of your nail each time. For maximum coverage Jamberry suggests two coats should be applied, and cured for 99 seconds each using the LED lamp. You then allow the polish/gel to polymerize in natural light for 60 seconds and you are done.
So far, I like this gel/polish. The manicure is supposed to last 7-10 days without chipping - first manicure lasted 20 days before the first chip - and removal is very easy, using only regular nail polish/lacquer remover.
Definitely a game changer and love that this gel/polish is 8 free!

I received this variety along with the strawberry sorbet for free as a member of the Chick Advisor product review club and can honestly say this is one of the worst lip balms I have tried. First, the packaging is an egg shaped container rather than tube like with most lip balm which makes it hard to pop into a pocket or small purse. The scent and taste of the lip balm was absolutely amazing however it left my lips even drier than they were previously. Not sure what the hype is all about, there are much better moisturizing lip balms out there.

I ordered this online from Sephora and when the package arrived, I was a bit shocked at the small size of the packaging. For $10 CDN I was expecting something larger. Saying that, I do like how the mask is packaged. Very easy to open and squeeze out, and because of the screw on cap, it seals back up nicely. The resealable packaging is really smart and the nozzle makes it perfect to get out the right amount
As for the mask itself, it had a nice, pleasant scent, was non-irritating and didn't dry my skin out. I applied the mask by squeezing a bit onto a flat foundation brush which worked well to spread the mask on my face. It removed easily and my skin felt great after. It doesn't dry down fully so that makes it a bit easier to remove.
Although it says it has only 4 uses, I'm sure I will get more than the 4 uses from this mask.

I purchased this in hopes of taming my unruly brows and it did do a good job of trimming them, but when it came time to shape the brows, it really was hard to get to work as the blade doesn't work well on curved areas. I ended up just plucking as I usually do.
I did try the larger blade side on my baby fine facial hairs, as well as my upper lip and it did work well for those areas, but you can shave your face with a plain razor, so save your money

I wanted a good Retinol Serum for my sensitive, post-menopausal skin that is also prone to breakouts and after doing much research online, I came across Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum and thought I'd give it a try.
The serum feels greasy going on, but when combined with a good moisturizer, it does eventually soak into the skin. Because I have sensitive skin, I have only been using this serum once a week at night. And because I've only been using it once a week, I haven't really noticed my dark spots or wrinkles disappearing, but my skin does seem to feel and look better a few days after using the serum.
I will be increasing my use of this serum to every other evening to see if more frequent use will help with my aging skin and dark spots, and will report back in a few weeks.
Would I recommend Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum?
At first impression, I would say no, however, I am willing to increase the use of the serum to see if more frequent use will reap benefits.
My rating: 2.5 out of 5

I've been drinking the Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeology for over three years now and I am never without it. I have issues with taking supplements in pill form so this is perfect for me on a daily basis. I have tried all the flavours and this one is my favourite hands down (some of the other flavours leave a chemical after taste in my mouth - YUK). I mix a scoop of the Vegan Tropical Strawberry with about a cup of water, a cup of frozen fruit, 1/2 a banana, some yogurt and a tbsp of agave - so yummy!! -
I tried this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was for a frozen entree. It was really tasty - not quite like homemade, but still very good. For $3.98 CDN, you can't go wrong.

I was first introduced to the Jamberry nail wraps and after a few years of using them, they came out with the Jamberry Tru Shine home gel manicure system. I was anxious to try the gels on top of my wraps in hopes they would make my wraps last longer.
Once you have applied your wraps, it's very easy to top them with the Jamberry Tru Shine gel (clear of course) and gel top coat (also clear). You use the LED lamp provided by Jamberry which is perfectly timed for their gels (which by the way were made by the same company who developed Shellac).
By topping my wraps with the Jamberry Tru Shine gel, they did last about a week longer than they normally world.
I'm not a fan of the coloured gels as they require you to soak your nails in acetone to remove and acetone damages my nails even further, but would recommend it on top of the wraps to extend their wear.
