I absolutely LOVE this lip balm. It's fairly inexpensive ($6 CDN) and leaves lips soft and supple. Smells great too. I have some all over the house and in my purse, car, etc.

I first learned about these when I was searching for the Blemish Dots with Salicylic Acid and realized they weren't available in Canada. The Peter Thomas Roth Blemish dots are exactly the same.
Each envelope contains 12 clear patches that provide a continuous flow of Salicylic Acid 0.5%, Tea Tree Oil and Hyaluronic Acid. Each single-use patch adheres to skin-and stays-put - perfect for overnight use. I wouldn't use these under make-up during the day, just because make-up would not adhere well to the patch.
I've used a lot of spot treatments in the past but this is by far the best one. A lot of drying lotion spot treatments just make my blemishes worse. These dots help heal and calm my blemishes in a couple treatments.

I've been wanting to try some of the Skyn masks for a while now so finally bit the bullet and purchased the Face-Lift in a Bag. The kit comes with two eye gels, two forehead gels, and two smile line gels which are supposed to work intensively to help cool, soothe and firm skin and de-puff the under eye area.
I was pleasantly surprised at how well these gels work - they feel so cool and refreshing on the skin. When I took the gels off I couldn't believe how much of a difference they made. I suffer from totally awful under eyes and they made a huge difference. My forehead looked INCREDIBLE and they seemed to soften my smile lines.
I wouldn't buy them for everyday use as they are a bit pricey ($25 CDN for 2 treatments) but would definitely use them prior to a night out.

I have three things not going for me: sensitive dry eyes, thin eyelashes, and not many of them. I've tried a lot of mascaras hoping to find something that can deal with my eye and eyelash issues.
The "Very Black" is really dark. It doesn't irritate my eyes, it's buildable, it almost never clumps, it doesn't flake or leave anything under my eyes after wearing it all day, and it comes off with just water. Even though it's mainly for volume, I get nice lash length out of it too. The bonus to this awesome find is that it's readily available at the drugstore. I absolutely love this mascara.

What are Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks? Well they serve as a primer, shadow, smudgy eyeliner, and eyeshadow brush in one. Application is easy--just line eyes and fill in the lid. You have about 30 seconds of play time to smudge with your finger or a brush to create the look you want. Make it soft and smoky or more defined. Finish by gently smudging your lower lash line with the Evercolor Shadow Stick using your finger or a brush.
I purchased mine from QVC - normally they're $25/each, but found them packaged as a duo for $31.92
Each "duo" includes two 0.06 oz Evercolor shadow sticks
Foxy: includes Rosy Taupe and Saddle Shimmer, both brown shades
Showstopper: includes Plum, a deep purple and Champagne, a shimmery beige
I quickly gave these a try and unfortunately I can definitely see myself liking these and having to buy more LOL They are awesome and do hold up - or as Mally says - they are bulletproof ... Also, they will come in very handy for travelling.

I've had been wanting to try Seacret products for some time and the first thing I tried was their Mineral-Rich Clarifying Mud Mask.
According to their website, the mud mask is based on an advanced formula composed of Dead Sea Mineral mud that gently purifies and cleans clogged pores. As soon as my mask arrived, I was excited to try it. The mud is soft and cool and is easy to apply to the face. As it is drying you can feel your face get firmer and once removed, my skin was so soft and clean feeling. I could definitely see a slight improvement in my skin. A couple days later, no irritations or breakouts.
After my first use, I was very impressed with this mask. I have since tried the mask many times over the past few months, and while there is still product left in the jar, it is slowly drying out and getting harder to apply. It is a great mask, however, be mindful that if you don't use it often, it will dry out. For the price, I would recommend one of the Queen Helene masks instead.

I had just returned from a trip to Burbank, CA and while I was there I happened to stop at the Sephora store in the Hollywood & Highland complex. I wasn't looking for anything in particular ... just checking things out to see what was different from our Canadian stores.
As I wandered around the store, I came across the Yves Saint Laurent section. I've become a big fan of YSL's products over the past couple of years and am never without my Touche Eclat luminizing pen. I have yet to find an American BB cream that is as good as the Asian BB creams, and when I saw the Top Secrets All-in-One BB Cream, I was skeptical.
According to YSL, this all-in-one BB cream will hydrate, conceal, correct, protect and prime. It promises to prime the skin to conceal imperfections with non-stop hydration for all complexions. It is available in 3 shades (clear, medium and dark) and has an SPF of 25.
I've been using Skin 79's Hot Pink Super Plus BB cream for a couple years now but I hate having to order it from sellers on ebay (you never know if you are going to end up with a fake). I've previously used Chanel's Vitalumiere moisturizing foundation, which I love for evening out the skin tone, but I am constantly looking for a lighter coverage that I can put on quickly to go run errands.
I gave the YSL all-in-one BB cream a sample at the Sephora store and was VERY pleased so picked up a tube. By the way, it's not cheap by any means ($50 Canadian as compared to $35 for the Skin 79).
I used this cream over the next few days and I was pleasantly surprised that it not only gives a similar radiance as Vitalumiere, but it's a lighter consistency and yet provides the same benefits as a foundation. So much in fact that I no longer have to use a foundation - and that I consider a score. The color blends well and is fantastic for discoloration and acne. I haven't noticed the color correction yet, but it's too soon to tell yet.
Overall I'm really happy with this product. It has enough coverage were I wouldn't need foundation over it. It's a little pricey but TOTALLY worth it. I like to use this, then YSL's Touche Eclat under my eyes, and follow up with a dusting of the .Laura Geller Balance n' Brighten baked powder to give it a matte finish. I get so many compliments!!
If you're worried about the price, I say go for it - you won't be sorry!!

One of my all time favorite products is the Passion Parties Romanta Therapy Pomegranate Ginger Smoothing Sugar Scrub ... I love this product so much so that I will not use any other sugar scrub ... never, ever!
Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. I was perusing one of my Facebook networking groups and noticed a friend was looking to swap her Passion Parties products for one of the products I am a preferred customer for. I contacted her and we arranged a swap.
Of course as part of the swap, one of the products I chose was the Pomeganate Ginger sugar scrub (can't have enough of these around) as well as a couple other products I hadn't tried - Pomegranate Ginger Refreshing Bath & Shower Creme, the Pomegranate Ginger Liquid Body Silk and Pomegranate Ginger Body Mist

My parcel arrived on and I was excited to try both the shower creme and body mist that evening.
Now, let me say I have been a long-time user of the Philosophy 3 in 1 bath, shower and shampoo (although I've never used them as shampoos because I have color treated hair), and they were always my go-to shower gel. That was, until last night.
I don't know why I waited so long to try the other Romanta Therapy products from Passion Parties, but I'm definitely glad I did. The Pomegranate Ginger bath and shower creme literally blows the Philosophy products out of the water!! The shower creme is so silky and smooth, and a little bit goes a long way. The lather is plentiful and leaves your skin silky smooth. Two thumbs up for this one!!
Next up was the liquid body silk ... this amazing lotion goes on smooth and dries to a fine powder over the surface of your skin. While using this lotion at this time of year might not be ideal, I did give it a try and it does leave the skin feeling soft. I'm looking forward to trying this lotion on one of our trips to Florida - I hate the sweaty feeling I get under ,y bra from sweating all day in the heat, so hopefully this will help keep both my bras and me dry by applying it under my bust. Also, I'm thinking with my long hair, it will be good to use on the back of my neck to keep my neck cooler and hopefully dryer in the heat, and will also try it on my feet to help keep them cooler/dryer.
After both those, I gave myself a quick spritz of the body mist, which is enriched with jojoba, white tea leaf extract and vitamin E. The Romanta Therapy Body Mists are moisturizing without being oily on the skin or staining to clothes, and I think this is just what my dry winter skin needs to help keep it moisturized, especially after a warm bath/shower!
My verdict? The Passion Parties Romanta Therapy products are the perfect addition to any pampering routine. And best of all, they are paraben free!!! Check them out - You'll be glad you did.
