I am lazy, so I am also a huge fan of dry shampoo. I've been a loyal user of Batiste Original for years and I will probably remain loyal to that specific version. I love that this Dark and Deep Brown version left absolutely no white or even visible residue on my very dark hair. If Batiste Original is a 5 out of 5 for effectiveness, than this is a 3.5. It is good enough for a quick refresh but not quite strong enough for those days when you probably should wash your hair that somehow the original Batiste gets you through. On the other hand, if the Dark and Deep Brown version is 5 out of 5 for no white residue at all, the original Batiste, after following the instructions is still a 4 out of 5. Given how effective it is, the trade off is fair. I love the scent of this version and the price is great! Both are amazing products and overall I recommend them both. I have also tried a cherry scented version that was amazing. If you are buying a dry shampoo, just make sure it is Batiste, I have tried others and I won't go back.
I received this product for free from Batiste and ChickAdvisor but I will always provide my honest opinion so that you can trust my reviews. How cute is the shower cap they sent along with the dry shampoo so I could effectively try it and still shower. Thanks for thinking of everything!

I tried this product on both my arms and my legs, which both had different lengths of hair available for removal. Unfortunately, in both cases only about 30% of the hair was actually removed. It was pretty painful though, and for it's overall lack of success on the first two tries in each area, it simply isn't worth continuing on. The aftercare wipes are quite moisturizing but my skin is still red and sensitive from the waxing, My leg is tolerable levels of pain but my arm is actually quite irritate by my shirt, it is painful enough that I am considering changing my sweater to leave my arm uncovered.
I received this product for free from Nair and ChickAdvisor but I will always provide my honest opinion so that you can trust my reviews. I'm sorry this review wasn't more positive but I am sure others will have a different experience.

Wow! Kelsey Miller wrote a truly revolutionary book when she penned "Big Girl; How I gave up dieting & got a life". This book is honest, engaging and completely eye opening. By the end of the book, I saw patterns in myself that I never expected to be confronted with upon starting to read it. I knew this book was going to talk about food, specifially, our relationship with food as women in a diet obsessed culture. I had no idea Kelsey would have me addressing my relationship with my mother and her relationship with alcohol, by sharing her own similar story in the book. Finally, I was shocked to see that not only was I not alone in my need to constantly be distracted, but that maybe it was more problematic than I had previously believed. I highly recommend this book to everyone, but something tells me it will most speak to women because as Ms. Miller writes, "I've never read a male celebrity profile that opens with a line about how pleasantly surprising it is that he ordered whole milk in his latte." It may be getting worse for men but our society has traditionally targetted women with its sexist, misogynistic and extremely narrow definition of beauty.
I knew I would be blogging about this book, but I had no idea that would involve me telling some private parts of my own life story. The Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser is a foaming cleanser, so it is great for people who prefer that. I'm actually more of a milk based cleanser person as I find most foaming cleansers are too drying. That is still the case here unfortunately, so especially at this time of year, I needed to follow up with a good moisturizer, despite the product saying it won't overdry combination skin. Also, because it is an exfoliating cleanser and has a slight tingly feeling, it is not appropriate for use around your eyes or for removing eye make-up. This cleanser has tiny little grains of baking soda (they better not be microbeads) in it so, as with any scrub, follow the instructions. I think this product will be perfect for after a sweaty yoga session in the summer. The tingly sensation will feel so refressing on my warm skin and that is the one time a good foaming cleanser feels best to me.
I am unsure about the price as i received the products for free in exchange for a review.

I've decided that this is literally the only mainstream market lip care that I can use. All the beauty based glosses make me feel like I am going through withdrawal if I go without. The small tingle of this one is the medication working to heal your dry skin and I love it. It feels cool when it goes on your lips and somehow its the only tub or tube of lip product I have ever been so attached to that I have finished more than one, prior to losing it. My love for this product only increases as I hear of lawsuits against other companies like EOS. I have crazy long nails and its still totally possible to use this product, I just do it backwards and use my nail tip instead of my finger tip. -
