I got a medium Rubbermaid Freshwords Produce Saver container free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review. I had some initial difficulties finding this product at my usual grocery store even though they sold other Rubbermaid brand food storage products. I was eventually able to locate this item at Canadian Tire. As for the container itself, I tested it out with some fresh strawberries which are notorious for going squishy and/or moldy if they aren't store in the perfect conditions. After moving the strawberries from their store packaging to the freshworks container and tossing them in the fridge, I've been snacking on them for three days without issues. This container seems to work well for produce that is easily effected by moisture levels. I do think this item is a bit pricey, but it will likely pay for itself in the long run. -

I got the Gliss Ultimate Repair Express Repair Conditioner for free from Chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review. This product had a scent that I couldn't quite decide whether I liked or not. The spray bottle packaging is relatively easy to work with to distribute the leave in product through damp hair. Then I finger combed it through. I like that it didn't leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down. It helped my hair feel a little more moisturized on the day I used it. However, I didn't really notice any long term improvement or difference in my hair so I'm not sure how effective this is as a long term treatment. -

I got the got2b Volumaniac Bodyfying Mousse free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review. This mousse has a light scent which I liked. It wasn't noticeable once I combed the product through damp hair. I have borderline wavy/curly hair and my main goal with this mousse was to keep frizz under control while adding some definition to my curls. The mousse dries with a nice hold that is still flexible. You can tell its there when you touch your hair, but it doesn't leave residue on your fingers which is really nice. Did it add extra volume? Not for me, but my hair has volume on its own so perhaps that would be more noticeable on someone with less natural volume. -

The product itself does have that hairspray smell, but it didn't linger for too long. This is meant for a lots of hold, don't move kind of style. I wouldn't use this if you want flexible or touchable results. I can see myself using this for braids and updos. -

I got this Gliss Ultimate Repair Conditioner free from Chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review. Overall this is a nice effective conditioner. It smells nice and conditions my hair well leaving it feeling soft but not greasy or weighed down. However, I'm not noticing any significant improvement from this shampoo+conditioner combo over my regular drugstore brand. While I do like the product, I don't think I can justify spending extra to get equivalent results. -

I got this Gliss Ultimate Repair Shampoo free from Chickadvisor in exchange for an honest review. Overall this is a nice effective shampoo. It smells nice and cleans my hair easily without it feeling dried out or stripped of moisture. However, I'm not noticing any significant difference between the results I get from this shampoo+conditioner combination versus my regular drugstore brand. While I would use this product again if it were given to me, I don't see myself spending extra to get it on a regular basis. -

I received the Batiste Beautiful Brunette dry shampoo for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for an honest review. My product arrived in the mail only 2 days before the review deadline, so this is more of first impressions. I have really dark brown curly hair. My main problem with other dry shampoos I had tried in the past was that they left a while powdery residue in my hair that I couldn't get rid of no matter how much I tried. In this dry shampoo, the powder is tinted brown. While it does still spray on noticeably light than my hair I was able to work it in with my fingers and get rid of any light patches. I also liked that I didn't have to fully brush my hair to work the product through, since brushing + curly hair = a frizzy mess. I did notice that this product absorbed some oil from around my roots, though there was a huge difference between a treated and untreated area, and this was three days since my last shampoo. Overall, this will be useful on rushed mornings where I can't fit in time to wash my hair, but I see it as more of an emergency product than part of my normal routine. -

The scent is very mild and once I apply it I don't notice it at all. The formula is nice though I found it sat on top of my lips without really absorbing. I don't imagine it will be enough for dry winter months but it will do the job for now. -

I used it at a hand cream and it left my hands moisturized without greasy residue which was great. However, this has a very strong 'fresh' scent which I just can't get past. I found it overwhelming and wouldn't use the product again for that reason. -
