I got this product free as part of the Chickadvisor product review club. This hairspray is definitely flexible... too flexible. I found it really didn't give my hair any hold at all. It also had quite a strong chemical scent when first spraying it on, though that did fade quickly. I need something with more staying power even when I'm wearing a hair style that needs movement. -

First off, this stuff smells amazing. I have borderline wavy curly hair and this oil really helps calm down frizz and flyaways. I comb a small amount through damp hair and then just let it air dry. If you use too much it will make your hair feel greasy, but if you just add a little you get a soft shiny finish without the oily feeling. I will definitely be buying this again... but not anytime soon since this bottle will last for months. -

I got a tube of Coppertone Sunscreen Lotion Sensitive Skin Faces SPF 50 free from ChickAdvisor to try out. Sunscreen usually makes me break out like crazy even if it's oil free and meant for use on your face. I was amazed when after a few days of use of this one my skin looked 100% like normal.
Things I loved:
- Doesn't make me break out
- No 'sunscreen' smell
- Doesn't leave skin feeling greasy
Things I didn't love:
- Takes a lot of effort/rubbing to get it to absorb completely and not look white on your face.
Overall, the effort to get it to absorb is totally worth it as this is the only sunscreen I've tried that didn't have any negative side effects like pimples or greasy skin.

I got this for free along with Vichy Idealia Life Serum from ChickAdvisor to test out. This cream has a consistency between a gel and a lotion. It doesn't have any noticeable scent. I applied it at night before going to bed. It was very hydrating and left my skin feeling cool and soothed. It lasted through the night and my skin still felt moisturized in the morning. I did fine that initially this did make my skin break out a bit more than normal but after a few days my skin adjusted and this was no longer an issue. While I do like the results I got with this cream I do find it kind of expensive and that is the one thing that makes me unsure if I will purchase it again. -

I got this from free from ChickAdvisor to try along with Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. This serum was not quite what I was expecting. I'm used to serums being thin and liquidy. This one however is more a gel-cream consistency. It has a pearlized finish throughout so it leaves a subtle dewy glow on the skin. I found that my skin had to adjust to these products and did break out more than usual for the first few days of use. It adjusted quickly though and this wasn't an on going problem. I used this product at night before applying night cream. It left my skin feeling hydrated and was fine to use around sensitive areas like the eye area. This is a very nice serum but is a bit pricy. -

I got this mascara for free as part of the chickadvisor gosh product review club. I am lucky to have naturally long lashes so I don't wear mascara too often but do on special occasions/when I'm getting dressed up.
Pros: I liked that this mascara really defined my lashes and made them look even longer without looking clumpy. I also really liked the small size of the bottom lash brush since it make it easy to get those lashes in the corners.
Cons: The brush for the top lashes is HUGE! I found it somewhat difficult to work with. Also, this is supposed to be a volumizing mascara but I didn't really find it added much volume.
Would I buy again? I would consider it. This mascara really works for me because I like mascaras that don't add too much and just define my lashes more. However, if you are looking for lots of added volume I don't think this one will work for you.

I received this mineral powder from the chickadvisor gosh product review club. The shade I received was 04 which was slightly too light for my skin tone but I won't count that against it since the shades sent out weren't customized.
My first impression was the packaging. The sifter doesn't seem to seal even when it's closed. The first time I opened the container I was greeted with a small powder explosion from the powder that had leaked through the closed sifter.
I tried it on my face with a large powder brush. I found the coverage quite sheer and it did look kind of cakey when you looked closely. It didn't blend into the skin very well. I also tried using it to set some cream concealer. It did a better job in the application.
I won't be buying this for myself since I don't use face makeup (foundation, powder, etc.) very often and just don't have a use for this product. I also didn't feel it was very effective overall.

I got this blush from the ChickAdvisor Gosh product review club. I received shade #2. The formula on this blush is soft and sheer. It blends really easily with your fingers. Unfortunately this shade was too close to my natural medium skin tone so it didn't show up too much on me. However, I think it would look really nice on people with fairer skin.
The one thing that disappointed me was the difference between the packaging and the true colour. The bottom of the package had a pearly sheen so I expected the blush to have a subtle shimmer to it as well however there wasn't any. Still a pretty colour but it would be nice if the blush matched the packaging colour (especially since they come sealed).
I really liked the formula of this blush I may or may not buy it depending on what other shades are available.

I got this lip lacquer from the ChickAdvisor #GOSHGoddess product review club. I tried it in shade #6. This colour is on the border between pink and red and is quite bright. It is well pigmented and goes on like a gloss. This is definitely something that requires a mirror for application if you don't want it to look sloppy. Initially it felt like a gloss but over time it kind of 'set' so that it was adhered better to my lips. After 3 hours of wear which included drinking multiple cups of coffee the colour is still going strong. It does have a slightly sticky finish but not enough to bother me. Also, though I could smell a watermelon scent when applying it it wasn't very strong and went away fairly quickly. Though the product claims to keep lips soft and nourished with argan oil and vitamin E I don't find it any more moisturizing than other traditional lipsticks or glosses.
I like that this lasts longer than a traditional gloss and I may purchase it in the future depending on what other shades are available.
