I received this as a gift from a friend who'd also had one for her baby. She swore by it as it hypnotized her child to sleep each night, and sleep means everything to parents! At first I was skeptical and didn't like the idea of a giant toy hanging off my baby's crib, but one difficult night is all it took for me to desperately give it a go. It worked!!! My little guy used it every night for almost 2 years to help him go to sleep. When he was more agile, he'd press the button to turn it on himself when he woke up in the middle of the night, and it soothed him back to sleep (unless there were other serious reasons to be awake- like food and diapers). My only complaints are the unit is a beast and sucks batteries like noone's business. We tried putting it on just music mode, which helped. I see there is now a similar, improved product on the market by Baby Einstein, which I now purchase for baby shower gifts, as it seems to have improved reviews, not as terrible on batteries, and has very similar features. -

After being frustrated by "deal" brands and "eco" brands of laundry detergents not cleaning my clothes and towels, I decided to try Persil after reading rave reviews. I WILL NOT GO BACK! It cleaned my gray-ish whites and years of buildup off of my towels and whites to transform them into new. I have a 3-year old that often spills stain-inducing foods on his clothes, and with only 1 regular wash, Persil cleans it all away! AMAZING! -

I find it to be light and barely-there, and my lips feel natural and healthy after use, unlike some other lip-paints out there that feel like "paint" and crack and dry out my lips. -

Reasons for dislike:
1) Off-putting dark color - doesn't look clean at all
2) Off-putting texture - thick, clumpy, paste
3) Off-putting smell - doesn't smell clean, and surely not a nice scented perfume-y smell like some other cleansers
4) OILY residue - even after rinsing off, and scrubbing, I was left with a stubborn oily layer that took several other cleansers to take off.
5) I did not feel clean after using this product.

My little guy is in the middle of potty training. We've tried several methods, but he's responded to Pull-Ups the best. He and I both appreciate how they are easy for him to put on and take off by himself as he learns his independence. Since "diapers are for babies" and he wants to be a "big boy," these are the perfect alternative to cloth underwear (we've tried and it ends up with big messes in the learning phase). Although not as absorbent as diapers, they are a great daytime learning tool for us right now. -
