I am becoming more and more fond of "clean'n'green" cosmetics, so the discovery of phenoxyethanol in the composition of the Magic Moisturizer was an unpleasant surprise. I was quite happy with this cream, purchased it from Sephora and used it on both face and body. It works well as a moisturizer, but phenoxyethanol is a definite "no-no" for me.
Therefore, I give the product a low rating overall, even though it is a good moisturizer and the scent of the cream is very pleasant.

I bought MoroccanOil Treatment Light at the salon where I cut my hair, and experimented with it. Here are the results:
If you use it as an overnight mask, there will be no visible or tangible results.
If you use it before applying irons to your hair, be prepared to lose it: heat and oil pretty much fry your hair like bacon. This information, thank goodness, I gathered from a YouTuber, not from personal experience.
If you use it on wet hair, it will be manageable and soft.
If you use it on dry hair after styling, in moderation, the hair obtains a lovely sheen. So this is how I use it mostly. For wet hair, I use a different brand of oil-based hair serum. A firm four-star for quality and a recommendation from me.

I purchased the Bite Agave lip mask about 8 months ago at Sephora within a set of lip care products, and I am generally happy with the effects, but not thrilled. When I apply the mask before bed, the effect is great in the morning - smooth plump hydrated lips, but by evening it wears off and lines start showing again. Also, some dryness returns.
I've been using the Lip Mask religiously, and while it saved me from chapping in the winter, it does not do an amazing job with lines. Three stars.

I would like to start with a general disclaimer in favour of Elizabeth Arden products I am very happy with, this being the only product that utterly disappointed me. I received the Skin Protectant within a gift-for-purchase package, so it was difficult for me to give a value rating, but then, if I wouldn't buy it again, I thought two stars would be appropriate.
First, the chemical composition of the product. The cream contains petroleum jelly, mineral oil, parabens, BHT, which, while not being officially harmful, are nevertheless far from being "clean'n'green".
Second, the smell. One word. Bad.
Third, the texture. It's oily, heavy, sticky and hard to wash off even with soap.
Fourth, it gave me such a bad itchy irritation that I had to wash it off immediately.
In the company's defense, I will say that the formula was developed in the 1930's, when we didn't have the advances and advantages of today's chemistry and cosmetology. However, I do not waiver in expressing my opinion. I do not recommend it.

I received this product in a beauty subscription box from the U.S., and the words "sleeping mask, do not wash off" put me on my guard immediately. Pore-clogging danger? Not in this case. It turned out, Hydro Biotic has a light semi-cream, semi-gel texture, it works more like a moisturizer, and the feel is very pleasant. My pores, which are a concern to me, are actually on the improvement path with Hydro Biotic as part of my pre-bed routine.
Those who are sensitive to smells may have an objection against its medical-y herb-y scent, but I personally like it. When I apply the mask, I have the sensation I am treating my skin with the essence of the forest. There are a lot of dire warnings about self-care products with fragrance, but this mask actually smells like medicine rather than like perfume.
The effect - what can I say? It all depends on your skin type. My skin is normal with a light inclination to dryness, so Hydro Biotic is in the first place a moisturizer to me, but it has a smoothing effect, too, - my face is pleasant to the touch in the morning. The only reason I gave four stars for quality is the light residue that still needs to be washed off in the morning, despite the "do not wash off" recommendation, but we wash our faces in the morning anyway.
Since I alternate my evening routines from oil to serum to nourishing cream to retinol cream to mask, I only apply Hydro Biotic a few times per week, but I feel it will become a staple. A firm four-star-very-good opinion and kudos to the brand.
