I will admit that first application is nothing to write home about but a couple layers is perfect and clean looking. This is my new go to mascara. It doesn't look like spider webs but still adds volume and a little length.
It lasted all day (I am usually wearing make up for about 12-14 hours)
Absolutely recommend this one!

I love Urban Decay, They have so many amazing products but it the past I haven't been a huge fan of their mascaras. They are always just ok. For the price of mid-range mascara (usually about 30 CAD) they just don't perform spectacular you can definitely get something cheaper... BUT anyways now to thew new one!
Urban decay is cruelty free and this particular mascara is also vegan. It retails at 31 CAD and can be found in Urban Decay or Sephora.
Packaging
It's a very generic shape but has a ton of pretty colours! The box itself is nice and not overly large waste of paper. Overall I am pleased with the packaging. One thing I really appreciate is the flat top lid so you can have the mascara open and place it down when a cat jumps on your lap.
However.. there is one thing that is a bit of a hot mess. This brush is so odd. There are 3 rows of long spikes and then the rest are short. I'm not sure what they we're going for. The spacing of everything just isn't the best. I also wish there were bristles on the tip to help with the bottom lashes because the long part are going to make it harder to reach bottom lashes.
Application
As I expected the long bristles made it a bit difficult to apply to the bottom lashes but hitting them at a 45 degree angle seemed to do a decent job. I did apply the mascara without a primer as I generally on day to day do not wear a lot of make up. The first application of lower lashes turned out ok but layering the bottom lashes was a bit difficult and will take a bit practice. The mascara is definitely can be layered and looked best on me with 2 layers.
Formula
I think this is my favourite formula UD has come out for mascara. The Mascara layered nicely without becoming spider lashes. Troublemaker like other UD mascaras didn't add much to length but the volume build up is great. I think over all it's great for people looking for a voluminous mascara.
Wear
I wore this mascara all day; about 14 hours to be accurate. It doesn't feel heavy even with two layers. It didn't smudge or flake throughout the day. It stayed on quite nicely until I took it off. I will say this is definitely a long lasting mascara but I don't think this is a common issue with most.
Overall this mascara is nice it has some good and some bad things about it. Would I buy it again? I'm not sure. I think that it is a decent mascara but at 31 dollars I kinda want more then decent. I will say this is the best Vegan/Cruelty free mascara I have found thus far but I don't think my search for my new holy grail mascara is over.

I received one brush from chickadvisor premium and I ended up buying a bunch of them now. They are so soft and don't shed at all. They are more then reasonably priced brushes! I would defiantly recommend these to anyone who wants beauty on a budget... +

I want to start by saying Matte formulas and my skin almost never work out. I have acne prone combination skin and that mix with matte just doesn't seem to be pretty. The patch above on my hand has no primer but I did use the new Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer on my face under this. You can see though right away that it's the wrong colour but also just bringing out every flaw and pore I have. I tried the foundation with both a beauty blender and a brush and I will say it preformed nicer for me with a sponge; though I've heard many people say a brush was better for them.
The coverage is a bit more like light to medium depending on how you put it on but never full coverage (i didn't try layering it but also I dont want to wear to layers of foundation). I will say it was surprising light feeling on the skin. It felt great I wish all foundations felt like that on the skin. I will also agree with it being long wear as it did last most of the day. However that where they lose me completely. At the end of the day my skin felt TERRIBLE.
As you can see from the pictures above the Foundation lasted on my skin throughout the day fairly well but it just kept getting heavier and heavier looking. At the end of the day My face started looking like an acne filled snake. I had to do heavy cleansing to get it out of my pores and I still ended up with acne I'm still trying to give rid of over a week later now.
I also used the blotting powder on my forehead throughout the day (I have bangs) and I now have acne on my forehead which is pretty rare for me. I Just over all wasn't thrilled with either products and I didn't want want to test the powder on a different foundation because I already had enough acne after this. Also, the blotting powder was also WAY over priced in my opinion. So I returned both these products to Sephora.
Overall, I really wanted to love this foundation because I love Rihanna and I love how inclusive this brand is but It just didn't work for me. I hope that in the future she will come out with a non-matte formula that might suit me a bit more!

OH BOY.. These stix I am very mixed on. The great things about the trio is you are basically getting 1 for free so if there are 2 out of the 3 technically you are getting your money's worth. I suppose but because Fenty Beauty offers so many colours in range of foundation they should have had a bit more separation for their trio sets as well. This trio also was all over the place for colours. The light colour was VERY yellow and the contour was VERY cool and the shimmer was in the middle. This basically wouldn't work out for anyone. If your skin is very yellow that dark shade is going to look super grey and if you're cool tones the light one will not work for you.
To start, the magnetizing thing is cute but a total waste. I would rather pay 5 dollars less and have things just be normal. Also if you have anything else magnet in your purse as your carrying it it's gonna all stick together. Finally, We stopped using magnetized purses because it can demagnetize your debit and credit cards... I'm assuming the magnet in this product is not special and can probably also cause issues if it comes in contact with your card's strip.
The Matte sticks: I really loved the colour of the contour on me but it just didn't blend out the way I wanted to. As you can see from about the "concealer" stick was far too dark for my skin. I will also say that it was more of a highlight then a concealer. It was very thin and had no coverage at all.
Just when you thought I was going to be completely negative here comes the shimmer stick love. They are awesome products and of all that I tried things I would buy again. Now the reason I love these is you can use them all over. They can be used as a shimmer shadow, blush, highlighting and even on the lips.

This is the only balm that will bring my lips back to life when it gets really dry. I have tried 30 dollar balm to dollar store. This one is just the best for dry lips. It's definitely not design to be beauty product. Also just be carful not to apply too much; your lips will be white lol -

This lotion retails at a high price of 55USD. link here. Which is it's only major flaw in my opinion.
On Purlisse's site they say this moisturizer will:
~Blue Lotus extract is a powerhouse antioxidant with anti-inflammatory benefits known to combat against free radical damage
~White Tea calms sensitive skin
~Soy Proteins keeps skin soft & supple ~Algae Extracts helps retain moisture and promotes skin radiance
~Vitamin E prevents premature aging and improves skin texture
~Non~greasy & non
~whitening formula allows for under makeup perfection
This is a repurchase for me. It really does all of what it says (I can't really speak for anti aging and vitamin e effects as they are something in a lot of products I use). I really like this moisturizer as it really doesn't make your face feel greasy and it doesn't break me out. Also being pale, I'm pro anything with sun protection it in. There is a faint scent but I think is pretty natural and could be from the ingredients.
The package is lovely. The boxes are reflective and look very high end. The tubes are fairly basic and always have the signature flowers on them. Most their packaging seems to be white/blue/purple. I do appreciate that it is in a tube which makes in more hygienic then pots.
Honestly, if it was a bit cheaper this would be a holy grail item but because of the price and it only being available through their site (add duty and taxes) it's just a tad expensive to be my number 1 moisturizer despite me loving it.

" Your beauty balm that glides on like tinted moisturizer with all the age-defying, coverage, sunscreen benefits of a foundation and BB cream! Featuring our exclusive Asian Herb extracts complex, Chamomile & Artemisia soothes skin while Sugar Maple improves skin's appearance and retains moisture to create a gorgeous & glowing complexion"
I have to say after using this a couple times now this may be my summer foundation. It's a light to medium coverage. I got the shade light which seems to be perfect for me (this year I've been walking to work in the summer so my skin is a tad darker then it would be in the winter) If you are any paler then me there probably isn't a shade for you and I will also say I saw the medium and it's QUITE a bit darker then the light so the shade range is sort of strange. I don't think the dark is so dark that really tanned skin could use it either. Keep in mind it's sort of the normal range for an Asian brand but being located in the USA they should offer more for both m paler and darker friends. The colour as you can see from below has a nice neutral undertone so both pink and yellow undertones should be ok to use it.
The packaging is similar to others of the brand. I will say this is my least favourite colour. I know they were going for natural and possibly to match that it's got colour in it would have been nicer if it was their usual blue/purple and white. I do appreciate that it is in a tube again
I love this product though. It doesn't break me out and is very light on the skin. Its not matte but not too shiny either. It's just great! It covers up minor blemishes and a redness. I don't think it needs to be set as it's a BB cream but it can be on greasier areas. If you're heavy in break outs or any major issues with your skin you may want to add some concealer into the mix. This is definitely not a full coverage.
It contains spf so you can easily wear it alone. It can be wore with or without primer. I used a beauty blender and it applied nicely. It also works well using your hands or a dense brush.
I will definitely be re-buying this for sure. I love love love it!

People who are scent sensitive shouldn't have an issue with this either. I highly recommend it. The only downfall of this product for me is that this brand is not cruelty free. -
