This vegan mask includes açai berry (antioxidant), guarana (antioxidant and source of caffeine), and babassu oil (anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, moisturising). It’s described as a “fresh juicy face mask” that “invigorates, smooths and fights the appearance of fatigue”. I don’t remember it doing all of that if I’m honest! A good night’s sleep and drinking lots of water is probably the best way to achieve all those results But I enjoyed using this mask nonetheless. It looked like strawberry jam with dessicated coconut inside. Because it didn’t dry down like a clay mask, it was fine to leave it on longer than the recommended 5-10 minutes. It was a nice mask, but maybe not necessary to repurchase. -

This is probably the most popular one and for good reason. I think I first heard about this mask years ago on a youtuber’s page when she was part of the thebodyshop campaign. This vegan clay mask contains bamboo charcoal, green tea leaves, and organic tea tree oil. It draws out impurities and you can actually see that it absorbs excess oil from your pores and minimises their appearance. It does have a tingling sensation initially, so it may not be ideal for those with sensitive skin. I don’t mind it tbh. I find that it does take at least 10-15 minutes to dry down completely, and it is a bit difficult to remove compared to other masks. Also the tea tree leaves end up everywhere! But it is a bit easier when I use a face mask remover sponge to remove it.
I really like this mask because my face feels so clean, super refreshed and glowing afterwards. I try using a clay mask at least once a week for that deep clean feeling it provides

This mask contains matcha green tea, dandelion extract, and aloe vera amongst its ingredients. I love that it looks a bit like mashed avocados and smells very fresh. It has a creamy texture and doesn’t dry down, so it feels comfortable on the skin. It’s recommended to leave it on for 5-10 minutes then rinse off with warm water using circular movements with your hands to gently exfoliate the skin. (It has little bits inside, but I don’t feel like they exfoliate that well compared to eg. a scrub) After washing it off, my skin felt clean and refreshed...like that feeling in your mouth after brushing your teeth with a very minty toothpaste! I use the face mask brush to apply this. -

I’d read so many good reviews for this so I had high hopes for this cleanser. It did a good job of removing my makeup, but when I washed it off, it still left a greasy residue on my face. I’ve tried one other oil cleanser and it didn’t do that. It also stung my eyes. I personally like a cleanser that I can use on my eyes as well. Unfortunately this did not work for me. -

I bought a mini of the @dhcskincare Deep Cleansing Oil to try and I liked it. Then I saw an amazing offer on Black Friday so I bought the big bottle! (200ml for £12, which is half price!) I like how nicely it glides on the skin and then turns milky and washes off easily with water. It removes my makeup really well and leaves my face feeling clean. It doesn’t leave any greasy residue. -

I’ve been through so many bottles and I still use this. I love how easy it is to use, it lathers up so well, and it removes simple make up. (I never knew about double cleansing, so I only used to use this). It leaves my face feeling fresh and clean, albeit a little bit tight (which I thought was a normal “side effect” of cleansers). I use the one for combination skin. I would repurchase this. -
