I have tried the Aveeno MAXGLOW Gel Cleanser over the past week and I'm happy to say that I like it! I find it to be very effective in removing my light makeup at the end of the day. Most importantly, I find that this cleanser does not dry out my face or leave a tight feeling afterwards. It is a super gentle formula without any strong smell. I normally use a prestige-brand cleanser, but after trying this, I don't really see any difference between the two! I'm looking forward to using this going forward. I received this for free, but all opinions are my own. -

When I was really young my Dad always used the pink bar of Dove (he still does, haha) but at some point Mom and I switched to body wash. After like two or more decades I was send a bar in the mail for free to sample and review. Overall, I still do not like the feel that bar soap leaves on my skin and I miss the exfoliation and subs of/from a loofah. This soap smells nice and clean and lathers nicely I just didn't find that it was for me. I feel that the quality is there but as a body wash user I will still to that. Give it a try though and see for yourself! -
