I tried an "Authentic Japanese Ganbanyoku rock-bathing yoga experience" at Iyashi spa in Toronto. It was amazing. Bed-rock yoga is similar to hot yoga, in that you are in a hot room, but opposite to hot yoga the room itself is not heated, but rather the floor (or specifically 'bed' made of bedrock) is heated.
The yoga class is 1.5 hrs in total, and begins with a half hr of rock bathing. which is basically lying on the bedrock floor (on a personal space about the size of a yoga mat) and letting the heat penetrate your body. After half hr there is a break and then the yoga begins. The yoga is called yin yoga, and involves only seated and lying down positions in order to have the most contact with the bedrock at all times.
I found this class to be more of a stretching class then specifically yoga. It was more about letting the heat massage your muscles into increased flexibility than specific poses.
In short it was great. I loved the experience and the heat was not over powering nor did it make me feel faint. I really enjoyed the class and the instructor.
The only negative is the price. It was $50 for the 1.5hr class. They do offer deals for a package of classes but they are still quite pricey. I do recommend trying it though cause if you can afford it, it is a great way to relax, stretch and come out feeling rejuvenated.

I heard about nail pencils being used to whiten the whites of your nails. I thought why not give it a try. So this review is not specific to the Sally Hanson Brand, I'm sure all nail pencils would work (or rather not work) the same way.
You are meant to wet the pencil tip and the white from the pencil is supposed to glide on smoothly over the whites of your nails. You are supposed to colour the underside of your nails to achieve a whiter look similar to a french manicure.
The problem with this product is that it washes off with water. so the moment you wash your hands, or moisturize, any lovely whiteness is gone. On top of that application is not that easy. my nails are medium length, so not super short or long, I have tried many times and have still found it impossible to get just my nail coloured without colouring my fingers well, which means my hands look a mess, and need to be washed and that goes back to my first point...
Perhaps it's just me, but I found this product (and I imagine all other brands) to be a waste of time, effort and money.

I really needed makeup remover and had no time or options before a large event. I picked up Merida Cleansing wipes at Dollaramma as a last resort. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin, so I was not at all looking forward to the experience of a dollar store product, in fact I was worried about reactions, but I was in a pinch.
This product surprised me. It worked so well. I had no negative reaction. It was quick, easy, and removed all my makeup including waterproof mascara.
The cloths are large, soft and not too saturated. The price is fantastic at $1.25 for 25 cloths. They claim to remove makeup and purify skin, soften skin with natural moisturizers and microencaspulated vitamin E protects your skin from signs of aging. I don't know about the rest of it, but my skin came out clean and makeup free. I did not breakout or react negatively in any way to the product.
The only negative would be the smell. it has a very perfumy smell, which I was worried would cause a reaction, but I had no trouble with that either. And once I applied my moisturizer I didn't notice the smell any longer.
I totally recommend these wipes and for the price you can't go wrong trying them out for yourself.

This all natural hand salve is wonderful for dry, chapped and cracked skin. It also doubles as a hard-working cuticle cream. Though the texture is a bit oilier/greasier than many other hand creams, it is well worth the results. Slather this on at night, paying special attention to your cuticles and by morning voila, fantastically soft, smooth and touchable hands. Also works great on dry elbows and heels. Though it is a small container for the price the results speak for themselves. -
I love the taste, texture and look of this lip product. It is not overly glossy but still gives your lips shine. It works well to moisturize dry lips without being thick or greasy. Perfect alone or with lipstick.

Crazy expensive, but worth every penny! Luckily a little goes a long way. My eczema and acne prone, sensitive skin LOVES this product. It smells fantastic, is all organic, and is meant to be used approx 3 nights a week. Since I started using this product my skin looks and feels fantastic. The product is a balm, so its consistency is a little 'greasy' , I guess is the best way to describe it, but I do not find it clogs my pores at all. It is a wonder product. I highly recommend it. If it was cheaper I'd buy it as gifts for every woman I know. -

Though easy to use, the strips were disappointing. They promise noticeably whiter teeth, but I'm hard pressed to find a difference. I had high hopes for a brilliant, white smile but am sad to report I didn't find much (if any) difference after the 2 hour application. The strips adhered quite well, they did foam a bit but after 15 mins or so they were easy to ignore. They stayed in place which was great, they did have an advanced seal as far as I could tell in comparison to other Crest white strips, but as for their whitening factor, I was less than impressed. -

I bought this sunscreen with high hopes. My facialist recommended it because of its light, liquidy consistency. It made my face breakout like crazy! As a sunscreen it did protect my face, but as something I would ever use again, I'm sad to say this product did not work for me. Also the high price for such a small size in comparison to other sunscreens turned me off. -

I purchased 3 boxes of 20 tampons from Shoppers Drug Mart because #1 I needed tampons and #2 they were on sale for $9.99 for 3. My logic was this, even if they don't work as well as the name brands I usually use (Tampax, Playtex)I would get way more for my money, so even if I changed them more often I'd still win.
FYI, I did win. I found these tampons worked really well. They were comfortable, easy to use, and the absorbancy was what I would expect from a regular tampon. They also look exactly like the name brands.
For the price, even when not on sale, these were a great buy! I am totally swapping my name brand tampon crush for Life Brand tampons.
