I was one of the lucky few who #gotitfree from ChickAdvisor to test and review this product! I received the shade 320, which I had jotted down as my highlight shade. The colour itself was a bit darker than I had anticipated- so I used my Lancôme foundation stick as a foundation and contoured with a darker shade...which worked out just fine for me. I am quite impressed with the formula of this foundation stick! It glides on extremely smoothly, and has a powdery finish. It doesn't feel cakey at all, unlike other powdery-finish foundations. It does have a typical perfume scent, which is common in Lancôme foundations- but it's a light scent and I am okay with it. I really am enjoying this foundation stick and may purchase it in my actual shade in the near future! -

I have to wear white shirts as part of my uniform at work - and quite often, I get that typical horrible ring stain around the collar. For two of my shirts, the stains were newer, and for one of the shirts, it had an older stain from make-up that I just couldn't really get out. I noticed that the Sunlight 4in1 PowerCore Pacs really did a great job removing the fresher stains. However, the stubborn older stains still remained. I also did notice that the shirts looked brighter and the smell was quite fresh. The scent left on my clothes wasn't overly strong or offensive. It was a nice fresh (almost floral?) scent. I am fairly pleased with the product. -

I really have fallen in love with the Olay Regenerist moisturizer and have made it a part of my daily routine. I like the fact that this moisturizer has a broad spectrum SPF 30 in it - so I don't have to apply a separate sunscreen on my face. Also, the Regenerist moisturizer has anti-aging properties that are supposed to help with sculpting and lifting. The packaging is great - it's a sleek bottle with a pump, which is extremely convenient for applying. The moisturizer itself is not runny at all or too thick - it's actually quite creamy. It absorbs into the skin extremely fast and does not leave a sticky residue. It leaves my skin with a slight dewy look. The Olay Regenerist moisturizer does have a very strong scent - so for those of you sensitive to perfumes and scents, you might not like this product. I, however, am a huge fan of scents! I don't know how to quite describe the smell - to me it smells like the classic Pantene Pro-V shampoo I used to use many years ago. The scent doesn't last too long though! Be careful when applying near the eyes - for some reason, if I accidentally rub it near my eyes, they get slightly agitated and watery. For me, this is the only con - but I always avoid applying the cream near my eyes and I'm usually good to go! -

I really don't like taking painkillers and avoid taking them unless I am in an extreme amount of pain. Recently, I had extreme pain in my feet and having to stand on my feet for 10+ hours at work, I was desperate enough to try a painkiller. I took one of the extra-strength Advil liqui-gels capsule. I noticed that the pain subsided pretty quickly - within an hour and that the pain was minimized for several hours. I found this medication to be very effective and fairly fast-acting. It did not upset my stomach at all or leave me with any other side effects. If you are looking to try out a pain reliever that will actually help - I highly recommend the Advil extra-strength liqui-gels. -

I have chronic gout, so, I am often suffering from intense pain in my joints. I was so happy to try out the Lakota roll-on pain reliever! I have used similar products in the past, and so, I feel like I can truly compare and fairly evaluate this product. Right after the first application, I noticed that the pain was significantly reduced - not completely gone, but definitely much more tolerable. I really like the roll-on applicator - it's mess free and I don't have to worry about my hands smelling like strong arthritis pain medication. Speaking of which, the best part of this pain reliever for me (other than its effectiveness, of course) is that it is completely odour-less! I am always hesitant to apply similar medications when I am going out or to work because I am so self-conscious about the strong smell. However, I can apply this any time without having to worry about others being bothered by the strong smell. -

I was fortunate enough to receive a free bottle of the Webber Naturals Crystal Clean Omega-3 oil to test and review. Honestly, I was a bit hesitant to try this product - I have tried other forms of Omega-3 oil (i.e. gel capsules) and they have always smelled extremely fishy and often leave a fishy aftertaste. However, I fell in love with the Crystal Clean lemon cake flavoured oil with my very first teaspoon! I can't believe how they have made this product to taste EXACTLY like a lemon cake!! There is not a single hint of fishiness whatsoever in this oil! That is incredible! I have been taking a teaspoon a day since I received the bottle five days ago. I can't say I have noticed any significant changes to my body - as it is much too early to tell. However, I am aware of the benefits of Omega-3 oil and am extremely excited that I have found a product that actually tastes delicious and is good for me!! The consistency of the oil is extremely smooth - it goes down the throat quite easily. It is not thick or sticky at all. And I quite love the aftertaste - it leaves me feeling like I just ate a slice of lemon cake! I will definitely be purchasing this product once I am done with the bottle I was sent - even at the $28 price...it is totally worth it!!! -

I received the this product to test and review from ChickAdvisor. I was quite surprised at how many vials you get in one box of the Adrien Gagnon Super Energex. I followed the dosage instructions on the box and mixed the liquid with some juice - they recommend that it is best when mixed with orange juice. I will be quite honest here, the smell and taste of the product itself is atrocious! If you've ever tried a similar product called Maltlevol, then you know what I mean - it smells and tastes the same! However, when I mixed it in with the juice, I could not really smell or taste the liquid. I was really impressed by the different types of vitamins it contains. I noticed after I drank the Super Energex, I really did feel like I had more energy. I wasn't as sleepy or feeling lethargic. Instead of drinking caffeine or those carbonated energy drinks, I feel like this is much more beneficial - as you're getting a lot of different vitamins in your system. I really like the packaging of the "vials" too - they're plastic and individuals so you can just pack one with your lunch. Also, if you don't mind the taste, you could just open one up and drink it straight - but I highly recommend you mix it with some juice! -

I was sent a total of five bars to try out from ChickAdvisor. I have tried meal replacement bars in the past, and have disliked all of them - none of them tasted good. The Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars have a really nice chocolate flavour. The bar consistency is chewy, and it is quite filling. The first one I ever ate, I could only eat half of the bar, I left the other half for later. It is sweet, and not at all bitter. It does have that slight flavour that many meal replacement bars have - I honestly can't pinpoint what it that flavour is, but if you've ever tried other similar bars, then you know what I mean! However, unlike similar products, that strange flavour is quite minimal. You get more of that nice fudge/chocolate flavour. I feel like I'm having a decadent snack. -

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to test out and review. I have been using the toothpaste for a week now. Right off the bat I noticed the texture of the paste- it is grainy because of the baking soda. I feel like the grainy texture really helps to deep clean my teeth. My teeth have not become noticeably whiter yet - but I will continue to use the product to see if it is effective in whitening my teeth. The flavour of the toothpaste is peppermint, which I like. It is not too strong, but strong enough to leave your breath feeling fresh. I am not a fan of the taste of baking soda - but it is more subtle than I thought it was going to be. Overall, I have been satisfied with the product. -

This is the third product in the Simple facial products set I received for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I use this moisturizer after cleaning my face with Simple Micellar Cleansing Water. This moisturizer isn’t a thick cream and does not feel greasy at all. My face and neck are left feeling extremely hydrated and moisturized. Whether I wear this on a clean face on its own or under my make-up, my face feels soft and supple. There is no scent as the moisturizer is formulated especially for sensitive skin. I apply this in the morning and again before bed. Rating 5/5. I have become a fan of Simple products and this item is no exception. I will definitely purchase this to replenish my stock once it runs out. -
