I have wanted to try Simple Micellar Cleansing Water for a while now and I am glad that I did - I was fortunate enough to receive this product to try as part of the ChickAdvisor Review Club. After removing my make-up with the Simple Micellar cleansing wipes, I apply this on a cotton pad and use it all over my face. It removes any make-up that was left behind leaving my face feeling very clean and healthy. I like that there is no need to rinse this off after. This micellar water is formulated especially for sensitive skin and so there is no scent and it is very gentle. It makes my skin feel cool and fresh. Rating 5/5. I will definitely be purchasing this product in the future. -

I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. These make-up remover wipes are effective and fantastic to use every day at home and when you’re travelling. Not only are these wipes terrific for gently cleaning your skin but also very hydrating. There is no scent and these are effective for all skin types. Rating 5/5. I would definitely buy these in the future. -

ChickAdvisor sent me the Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray to test and review. I really am enjoying using this Dove hairspray. I like that it doesn't leave my hair stiff - I can still move my hair, and it still looks and feels like hair! I like to lightly spray my just flat-ironed or curled hair with the Flexible Hold Hairspray - it really helps keep any fly-aways intact. The hairspray also helps to keep any volume I've built throughout the day. -

I received the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil for free to test and review from ChickAdvisor. I use dry oils as part of my daily hair regimen. As someone who has dry ends and frizzy hair, I really appreciate that there are such products out there to help tame my crazy hair. I have been using this Dove Pure Care Dry Oil for about two weeks now, and I have been enjoying it very much. I love the scent - it smells like baby powder! It is not at all strong or overpowering - it is light and subtle. After I apply it to my hair, my hair looks shiny and well nourished - especially when I use it just before flat-ironing my hair! I really like the fact that the dry oil does not leave my hands feeling greasy after application. Also, my hair does not look greasy - although, if you have greasy roots, I highly recommend avoiding application there. Lastly, I do like the packaging - it comes with a pump in a glass bottle - the glass makes it a bit heavy, but it is quite sturdy. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil! -

I received the Dove Refresh+Care Invigorating Dry Shampoo to test and review from ChickAdvisor. I have used other similar products in the past, and this product is quite similar to those. Right off the bat, I must warn you - if you are sensitive to scents, stay clear of this product - it has a very strong perfume-y scent. However, I am someone who really enjoys perfumes and different scents, and so, I do not mind at all that this dry shampoo is scented. I used the product on my greasy roots, and followed the instructions on the can. After working it in my hair, I noticed that my hair looked and felt much fresher. I also like that it helps provide some volume to my hair! I even apply this product to my clean hair whenever I want to build some volume - it really works well! Lastly, I like the fact that the dry shampoo sprays on clear - unlike some dry shampoos that leave a white powdery residue - not at all attractive when you have really dark hair!! Two thumbs up for Dove!! -

I received the Dove Nutritive Solutions Daily Moisture Conditioner to test out and review from ChickAdvisor. After using the product for about two weeks now, I must say that I am really enjoying it! My hair feels very nourished - I tend to have greasy roots but very dry ends. This conditioner has definitely made a difference in my hair! My ends are not as frizzy - which is a HUGE plus for me! I like the scent of the conditioner - it's not at all overwhelming, but does leave a subtle scent in your hair. I like that even though it is a moisturizing conditioner, it does not leave my hair greasy - especially my roots. I was concerned that it may leave my roots very greasy, but this has not been the case at all. It balances out the moisture in my hair from root to tip! -

I received this shampoo from ChickAdvisor and Dove to test out and review. I have been using the shampoo for about two weeks now, and I really have been enjoying it! The container is a typical flip-top shampoo bottle. I like the scent - it is subtle and not at all strong - it's not so overpowering, but it still leaves a nice lingering subtle scent in my hair days later. The shampoo itself creates a nice lather and my hair feels nice and clean after I use it. I have been using it with the Dove Nutritive Solution Daily Moisture Conditioner, and I think the two products work very well together. -

My family and I have been eating McCain fries since I was a kid! It is as much a part of our family meals today as it was then! We especially love the McCain Superfries Crinkle Cut in my house. They are so easy to prepare - we just pop them in the oven and have them on the side with a grilled cheese sandwich or a hot dog! They have an excellent taste - you can tell that you're eating real potatoes. It is a taste that appeals to all ages in our family. -

I was sent the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer from ChickAdvisor. I have been using this moisturizer for about two weeks now. I have a love hate relationship with it so far. I really like that Garnier has made a moisturizer that works well with those of us with oily skin. The moisturizer really does do what it claims - it leaves my face feeling soft, moisturized and it even adds a subtle glow (after several uses, I have noticed, anyway). I like that the moisturizer does not leave my face feeling sticky or tacky. It leaves my skin feeling quite soft and supple, actually.
Unfortunately, the moisturizer has a very strong scent - and I am not one who is sensitive to scents - however, if you are, I suggest you stay clear from this product. It does say on the packaging that you should avoid placing the product near you eyes. I have tried my best to keep it as far away as possible from my eyes, but even so, my eyes are left burning after I use this moisturizer! This makes me so sad - because I really like the product otherwise! My eyes tend to get sensitive sometimes, and I'm not sure if it's just my eyes or if it's the product that is just far too strong.

I was sent the Garnier SkinActive Miicellar Water to try from ChickAdvisor. I have been trying the product out for a couple of weeks now, to make sure that I did not get any reactions from it. After a couple of weeks of use, I have really fallen in love with this product! I have used the Bioderma Sensibio H20 (which retails for about $30 for 500mL) in the past, so, I did have high expectations for this Garnier alternative. The Garnier SkinActive, in comparison, retails for about $10 for 400mL.
I like that there are no oils or perfumes in this product - it is safe to use for all skin types and even near the eyes. I don't have sensitive skin, but I do have sensitive eyes - and many similar products leave my eyes burning. The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water does not burn my eyes. It leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. I like to swipe my face with it in the mornings, as well as to remove my makeup in the evenings. The texture is just like water - it is not at all sticky or tacky.
I also like the convenience of the flip-top cap - it makes it easy to pour out and control how much product you're using.
