The beads are smaller grains so they don't scrub roughly on the skin. I've been using it nightly. It doesn't sting or burn which is great for someone with sensitive skin like myself. Sadly my wrinkles haven't disappeared but it has made my skin feel and look less dull ! -

It does have a soft scent which I don't mind but some that are sensitive to scents may not tolerate it well. As for helping my foundation stay on longer, it maybe gave me a couple hours more to work with. -

Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
The bottle was very reasonably priced and adorable. I use it to freshen up and also as a setting spray. Nice for summer when I'm hot but also for winter it keeps my skin moist.
