I love avocados, and I love mayo, but avocado oil mayo? Hmm...it sounded so intriguing I had to try it :D First off, the packaging was so cute! I’m already thinking of ways to repurpose the jar for crafting. The taste was quite good - not as oily as some other brands, and it was great mixed in my chicken club and as a dip for french fries. I liked that it wasn’t too green in color haha! I also appreciated that it ships fast on Amazon. The cost though, was a bit too much for its size, so not very practical for a budget conscious mom like me. Overall, it is good to know that there are healthier options like Sir Kensington’s Avocado Oil Mayo that actually taste great and won’t go to waste.
I was able to #getitfree to try through Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review.

My husband and I do masks every weekend as a bonding thing and as such, are always eager to find new products to add to our routine. After testing the Aveeno Clear Complexion Purely Matte Peel Off Mask, I found that for best results, make sure to use a generous amount while applying it. If it’s too thin, it dries too quickly and is harder to peel in one piece. It worked better too on my oily skin, than on his dry skin. Overall I liked that my skin felt tighter, and actually matte like it claimed. I liked that the opening of the container was tiny so i don’t get huge globs. I #gotitfree to try thanks to ChickAdvisor. -

I’m usually wary about trying products which claim to be lesser in calories because they are oftentimes less tasty anyway. But since Breyers was a trusted brand and I #gotitfree to try, I can honestly say that Breyers Delights Caramel Brownie flavour gets a Yes! from me! It was creamy, wasn’t overly sweet, had ample amounts of brownie chunks plus it’s only 90 cals/ 125 g (1/4 of the pint). It was fairly easy to find at Sobeys. My only con would be its more expensive price tag than the competition. -

I didn’t know what to expect from the Aveeno Cracked Skin Relief CICA ointment, but I was pleasantly surprised by the results. My job requires constant handwashing, and I would always have cracked skin and raggedy cuticles. This really helped relieve the dryness, and my cuticles improved too. I really liked the unique applicator, as I can target the nooks & crannies of my hands. It is oily, but absorbs fairly quickly and no stickiness. Great portability too, and now stays in my purse! #gotitfree -

Winter has just ended and my feet are totally unprepared for sandal season. Add to that standing all day at work, well, my feet really needed help. Thankfully, I #gotitfree through ChickAdvisor just in time! The Aveeno Cracked Skin Relief CICA balm is unscented and thick, but not quite like petroleum jelly. Less shiny and sticky, it absorbs quicker and just felt pleasant on my feet. I would recommend using it at night and wearing socks to let it sink in. I like how big the tub is, this would last you a while. -

Sometimes lotions, though absoutely necessary in winter, can feel so heavy and sticky. But I’m glad to say that the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream is not one of them! It was quick-absorbing and light, no greasy film left behind. It kept my knees from being ashy in winter. I recommend it to anyone looking for lightweight moisture on a drugstore budget. The only con I can think of would be that it might not be enough for extremely dry skin. I received this product to try for free from Chick advisor in exchange for my honest feedback. -

I’m no stranger to products with licorice root extract, so I was curious of how Vichy’s Idealia Radiance boosting antioxidant serum will perform. I wasn’t disappointed! A month in and my face was noticeably brighter! I used it with the Day Cream from the same line which I received from ChickAdvisor. I would recommend it to others with combination skin. It’s not sticky, felt very gentle and quite hydrating. -

I really liked Vichy’s Idealia Day Cream! I have combination skin that gets splotchy in winter time, weirdly oily in my T-zone yet flaky on my cheeks, and this kept my skin calm and moisturized while being less of an oil slick. It absorbed quickly, didn’t pill under makeup and didn’t feel heavy at all. It had a subtle floral scent that is inoffensive to me. And it did actually feel energizing in the morning! I highly recommend it! -

I’ve never used a milk-gel conditioner before so I was a little wary that it might be too watery to meet my needs. But thankfully, Dove’s Ultracare Conditioner Milk-gel lived up to expectations. It smelled great, rinsed off easily and smoothened my hair without weighing it down. I also loved its pump packaging. My fine hair is prone to tangling and matting at the ends, and I am quite happy that it helped keep my hair tangle-free after washing and drying. I also liked its budget-friendly price point, and would recommend it to other fine-haired people.

Before this, I used baby oil to remove my mascara. But this has replaced that because it’s gentle on my eyes, doesn’t sting, not overly oily yet effective.
