This thing is godsend. I have pin straight, individually thick, long, droopy eyelashes - crimping is a major problem. With just the right pressure, it gives you natural looking curled eyelashes! For better precision, you can use the Mini version for inner & outer lashes. (FYI Toronto peeps) As of this date, Sephora Bloor sells the regular, but not the mini. Sephora Eaton's told me they no longer sell Shu eyelash curlers. Maybe Holts? -
I believe they have the best quiche in town. Food is good. Not a great place during peak hours. One of the senior staff is very rude.

Great concept, great execution. An okay place. Food is good. Overpriced though, considering everything can be bought in Chinatown. And planting chopsticks on the rice/noodles is extremely bad etiquette!!! Still recommended for everyone.

CAD$2.89 at Tutti Frutti (Kensington Market). It's delicious. I wonder if the vegans use this, too. I wish it stayed on your lips longer.

This is what I'm talking about! A 120-year old beauty recipe: 355mL of ALL-NATURAL product that your skin deserves. I bought it for 2 reasons: a natural toner for my combination skin and the witch hazel ingredient to soothe my skin after shaving. It's perfect. 3 months already and I have only used up 1/4 of the bottle so far (I use it everyday). Smells wonderful! CAD$7.49 at Tutti Frutti (Kensington Market). About a dollar more at Essence of Life. Costs more at Whole Foods. -

Bought it because it was on sale at Shopper's - CAD$3.49. I apply it on slightly damp hair. I noticed the tips of my hair does straighten. I have very thick, very coarse, wavy hair. But don't expect it to be a magic potion. This is just a styling aid. I don't blow dry my hair so I don't know it would look like. When I do iron my hair though, it has fantastic results. And it smells nice. Cons: Is it just me, or it becomes greasy when you wash your hands and hard to rinse off? -

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 - Pros: Non-comedogenic, oil-free and fragrance-free! What more can you ask? And according to their website: "This moisturizer is lightweight, silky-smooth, fragrance-free and suitable for use under makeup or after shaving. Provides gentle moisturization for all skin types." So it's just right for me. Perfect for going outside during the winter. I bought it on sale at Shopper's Drug Mart (CAD$9???). Lasts for months! Cons: you might not like the "greasy" look after applying this. I have combination skin, I suggest go easy on your oily zones. I don't wear make-up, but I don't think it's a good make-up base. I wish it was 100%natural. I hope this helps! -
