Now that we are living in the hot and dry climate in California, I only reach for my Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturizer. It helps keep my skin soft and doesn't dry out while I am outside running or doing errands in the 100 temperatures. If you haven't tried Vaseline Spray & Go, I highly recommend it. -

With Lush, it is already a cream in a black bottle that you put on your face, let sit for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off. I was reading this mask and it turns out that it's a piece of fabric with the face mask already inside of it. The directions were pretty simple. Clean your face, apply the mask, wait 15 minutes, massage in, and rinse off. I got my bubble bath started, cleaned my face and pulled out the mask. It was a little larger than my face so it overlapped in my hair, neck and chin, but other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. Having seaweed and kelp in it, I thought the smell would be awful, but there is just enough perfume to not be overbearing, but still smell nice. I put the mask on, hopped in the tub, and relaxed for a good 20 minutes. I let it get a little hard/stiff before I massaged it just because from previous masks, it might take longer than it says on the package. I massaged the mask, removed it, and rinsed off to find my skin was so soft and clean. It was really a nice surprise. After using this mask, I think its hard for me to choose which I like more, Lush or Montagne Jeunesse. They both have their pros but aside from the size of the mask, I can't find a con for MJ. A big thumbs up to Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask. Plus, for $1.99 or cheaper, they rock! -

One thing that I think all of us women/young adults always end up using tampons at some point in your life. I usually use U by Kotex but since I got off of the depo shot almost a year ago, I have been having irregular periods and like to be prepared. I was a little thrown off by the scent at first but in the end, they did the job and the scent didn't bother me. I usually just buy unscented. These did everything they claimed to do and worked great for me as a runner who doesn't like to be bothered by periods. -

I like using this product on my waterline to brighten up my eyes for those days I don't want to use black liner. Its great for highlighting the inner corner of my eye as well. I like the cream formula; makes it easier to glide on application. This pencil is very creamy and if you would like to use it for an eyes hadow base I believe it would work also. -

I absolutely LOVE this mascara. I have very short and light colored eyelashes so this is the best I have found so far. The tube is pretty chunky but it's nice. It has a good feel in your hands. The wand is big and it's good to use to get into the corners. I don't care for the curved shape of the wand, doesn't make a difference in my lashes. This is a genuinely nice mascara. I like the formula (not very wet or very dry) and I like they way the brush separates, volumizes and lengthens my lashes. -

I've done 2 manicures and both have held up fairly well. However, I've found that they aren't holding up as well as a salon manicure does. Some of that could be my own error since I'm not a pro, but the cost savings pretty much out weighs the fact that the manicure doesn't hold up as long. That said, be aware that doing a gel manicure yourself is time consuming! Plan on setting aside about an hour to do a proper job. Also, I've found that curing the product for longer than the directions say helps to get a better cure. I recommend looking up an online "how to" from a pro and following those directions. Between the pro's directions and you figuring out what works best for you, you'll get the hang of it in no time.
I do have very brittle nails and it does cause them to get messed up even more after the polish comes off but if you have good nails then I highly recommend this.

They easily come out. They start out the diameter of a nickel and after a few uses expand to around a quarter. I have not had one break yet and they are still elastic after they stretch out. I have had them over a year now and still have half a pack unused, even though I wear them almost every day. These are a great deal on here and they work perfect. They are too tiny, just big enough to fit over my whole braid. They are also very flexible and I have had yet to have one break. I reuse them often, surprisingly they don't lose their stretch and hold well after many uses! -

While this brush is very easy to use and does remove some excess moisture from your hair, it is not much better than just towel drying your hair. Maybe it’d be better for people with more texture to their hair or really long hair. I did like how gentle it was though—it detangles quite well. Although my hair is short it is very thick. I was very pleased with how the brush dried my hair. I didn't have to use a hair dryer at all! -
